00:04you've got quite hardcore bushcraft survival school type things it's quite male dominated
00:12or you have like this wellness camp like sound baths and forest bathing so if you don't um
00:19sort of identify with those two groups then maybe you feel a little bit lost
00:34but you really notice like the difference in someone who's like come in and with like limited
00:40experience they can be quite like timid at the start but actually they often are the ones who
00:46are like most involved and like get the most out of it
00:59so fully involved on like oh what's this like what do you mean you can use this mushroom to like
01:05make a fire and then like you know getting them to have a go with it at the end like
01:10they just
01:10they love it we take it for granted i think that you can just walk and turn a tap on
01:21or boil the
01:22kettle like um i think spending time outside does make you appreciate like the effort between those
01:27instinctively it does like reset your brain to be way more conservative with your usage
01:43when you then start thinking through that lens you realize how little you do know to like defend
01:50yourself or like survive in that situation
01:58building a good network of community having making sure you've got a friend that's a good friend that's
02:03a nurse and would know how to like treat an injury um and someone else who's got like a mechanical
02:09mind who could help like turn a dead car into something useful
02:17it's really for me giving me what feels like a purpose and my mental health it's like giving that
02:23massive boost it's like a relationship like you can't just like expect it to give you everything
02:28you have to like pour give it energy and curiosity and then you get it back that's when it starts
02:35like providing the real value to you i think often when i'm out i just think this is crazy that
02:39people
02:39are doing life without this
