00:26plays i i think that he's in the booth for the first time in his career like he's always called
00:32it from ground level i just feel like his visuals are like it's a cheat code for him to get

00:37the way he wants it and they got geno smith like let's be honest i mean like geno is a
00:42well-accomplished
00:43quarterback that i can just tell he's seeing the right things he's looking the right places he's
00:47getting the ball out on time he knows his check downs like that's we haven't seen that functionality
00:53with a jets offense for whatever reason quarterback play callers so i give aaron glenn a lot of credit
00:59for you know i think he's got 16 new coaches which is unprecedented after one year but to really go
01:05out there and pivot and to and to get guys that he feels like now are putting their team in
01:10a better
01:10place and i think on the flip side defensively dan like you know i just see a more engaged tech

01:16calling football plays on defense right like i just feel like he's in his element i mean like you know
01:20if something looks bad he can call a timeout real quick or he can yell at anybody in that moment

01:25and he holds people accountable on a day-to-day basis because he's the play caller so you know
01:30like i said he's got good eyes with duker in the top he doesn't call the plays but he can
01:34give the
01:34information while he's watching the offense and uh again i just like i said darren muji too and the
01:40third piece is personnel i think we can all sit here and and look the personnel is that much better
01:45uh they brought in much better defensive personnel up front uh they got some great leaders so i mean
01:51yeah like this is a dangerous team like i don't know when you look at the jets you're like ah

01:55know like this isn't going to be one of those games in the past where like you know you just

01:59winning any like you're going to have to play four quarters and that's what they've shown so far

02:50place in his career uh his ability to you know um just see the field distribute the ball um you

02:57a lot of turnovers maybe the last couple years uh which kind of like for me since he doesn't have
03:02any like i still like the fact that he's aggressive when he needs to be aggressive and that's important in
03:07this league you know if you're convicted on it and and you can take those shots like we've seen a

03:12in games now where he's taking some really strategic shots so again he's not scared so i think you know
03:17he's feeling his playmakers out he's got you know garrett wilson who had a tremendous game uh sadiq
03:22looks like he's the real deal of tight end from oregon he had 100 yards receiving he was fun to

03:27obviously from a guy that plays tight end watching and calling a game to see that that was exciting so
03:32uh and then just you know how do they kick start the run game i think that's more you know

03:37of like how frank wants to establish that you know that two or sometimes three tight end looks like
03:42what's better is it is it 11 personnel so that'll be something good coordinators take a hard look at
03:47after you get some information like sometimes it takes three four games like okay we're not this
03:52we're that or we're that and we're not this so i think those are our learning pieces but man like
03:57they've been in every game man like they won one and they've been in the fourth quarter they got the
04:02ball in your hands like i think jets fans would appreciate like hey we want the ball in our
04:06hands try to win in the fourth like they want that and that's been true so far through three weeks
04:11you know frank right let me go back and he's a former teammate of mine when i was at
04:15the university of maryland and he obviously knows boomer esiason very well you know i said one of the
04:21things that i love about him the most is like when you go back to the eagle experiment you know

04:26they ended up winning that championship he's a backup quarterback he ended up taking
04:30nick foals to a championship another guy with experience right on going through a lot of
04:36different places what's he added to the jets offense in your opinion i just think there's a
04:42sense of calmness like being a player been through these moments been on good teams bad teams had
04:49success been on the low ends like you get a lot of learning experiences through that and he's a very
04:54player friendly coach like you know listen he holds everybody accountable because he knows as a
04:59player like you got to go out there and function and operate but he gets like okay like okay garrett
05:04wilson didn't have any a lot of touches last week like what are we doing there like and it gets

05:08changes this week he gets a ton of looks right like so he's very like okay aware of the situations

05:14hand he feels like he's got a really good feel for the game and you know as a play caller

05:19just you know i know as a head coach i don't call plays but i tell my coordinator like
05:23we just went through three series like the game plan is is crap right now like whatever we worked on
05:28i got a lot of respect for it but we got to find a way to get in a flow
05:31throw it all away and go to
05:33this so we can go back to what we've been working on to get confident i just think like he
05:38he probably
05:38doesn't need to be told that which is good and he's got a good feel for the football game so

05:44think man like you know you know those experiences have helped him and i think guys respect that because
05:49he's a realist but yet he holds everybody to a high standard
