00:00Coach, I've got to ask you about your Jets there.
00:02And, boy, Aaron Glenn, man, he's got really a tough one going on there.
00:05Your opinions on what the future is in store for.
00:08Look at this here.
00:09The Jets have been outscored 107-6 in the final two minutes of the first half
00:15during Aaron Glenn's tenure as head coach.
00:17What do you tell your locker room, Coach?
00:19And, man, just really a tough job right now in New York.
00:23It is.
00:24And I think, you know, the thing that Aaron has going for him is the players respect him.
00:27They want to play for him.
00:28They want to win for this guy.
00:29They really do.
00:30I just think that, you know, you don't make light of it.
00:34You just say, hey, look.
00:36And you tell the players, hey, look, when we score our first one,
00:40this is what I'm going to do on the sideline.
00:42Right?
00:43So you almost kind of put it on you.
00:45Like, you guys want to see what I'm going to do?
00:46You score.
00:47You score early.
00:48Watch what I'm going to do.
00:49Right?
00:49So you got to do something.
00:51You got to keep it light.
00:52These players know, hey, man, we can't keep doing it.
00:54We can't keep going down this road.
00:55Because it's almost like the first half of football games are not even playing.
01:00Right?
01:01It's like, okay, you guys can score whatever you want.
01:03We'll come.
01:05We'll know we're going to be out.
01:06And then we're going to try to catch you.
01:07It won't work that way.
01:09Coach, how do you think Geno's played this year?
01:13I think he's been okay, you know, but he can't – the thing –
01:19he's not turning the ball over a lot, which is good,
01:22because they have a pretty good defense, to be quite honest.
01:25They just can't score points.
01:27You know, in this league, you got to score.
01:28You just do.
01:29I mean, the league's set up for you to score.
01:32I mean, and you got to score points.
01:33You know, you still got to play defense.
01:34I get all that.
01:35But it's easy to play defense when you can score points,
01:40because what happens is you put the quarterback in a situation
01:43where I got to go back and – because you score, you got to throw it.
01:46I got to throw.
01:47When you don't score, your competitor knows all we got to do is just,
01:53you know, methodically beat these guys, because they don't –
01:58there's no threat.
01:59There's no threat on offense.
02:02Coach, the job that Frank Reich has done this year
02:05as the offensive coordinator, what do you think the job that he has done?
02:08Pretty tough situation also there in New York for him.
02:12What do you think of the job he's done?
02:14I think he's holding it together.
02:16I do.
02:17I just think, you know, Geno has a cap on him of where the ceiling is,
02:23and he's just going to make sure that Geno doesn't lose the game.
02:26I mean, because if he starts throwing interceptions,
02:29Coach, he could really get bad.
02:30Like, I mean, real bad, and we know that.
