00:04Jalen Duren was not at Detroit Pistons Media Day.

00:12Jalen Duren has a $200 million offer on the table.

00:27And his one-year qualifying offer, which is what he would take if he declines this and just decides to

00:36He is seeking a five-year $287 million maximum deal.
00:43So now there's this situation where he can't show up to Media Day because technically he's not under contract.
00:49Their front office has expressed confidence.
00:52They've said, hey, we're going to get something done.

00:56Cade Cunningham was like, hey, I'm on Jalen Duren's side.

03:43And I don't want Jalen to go down that road of, hey, I just signed a $200 million contract, so

03:49I tear my Achilles, or I necessarily injure my ACL, or tear a meniscus, and I'm out for a long
03:56period of time.
03:57And now it's time for my contract talk.
03:58And they'll gladly tell you, hey, you wasn't serviceable all season.

04:05I'm not wishing injury on nobody, but we've seen it happen, and I do not want him to fall in
04:10that tunnel.
04:11Now, the only team I think will actually pull the trigger on him in offering more money is the Sacramento
04:16Kings.
04:16But they got a whole, I would say, trash can type of thing going on.
04:22They talked about the Atlanta Hawks as another team that sued them.

04:28And then they said the Milwaukee Bucks.
04:30And I'm like, I don't see the Bucks.

04:36They're paying Miles Turner more than they want to.

04:40They're paying Damian Lillard still because they decided to stretch his contract.
04:44But here's the thing that I will say about this.
04:48You got to be careful of the people you got around you.

04:53You got to make sure these people got your best interest in mind, even if it doesn't work out for

04:59And right now, I don't think Jalen Dern, I don't think these people have his best interest in mind when

05:06Because if that money was somewhere else, he would have found it by now, buddy.
