00:11Farley said Chinese imports have quickly gained market share in Europe and warned that, for
00:15European countries, it's too late.
00:17He said Ford will partner with Chinese companies when it is capital-efficient or fills gaps
00:21in expertise, while also competing with them directly.
00:24Ford currently works with battery maker CATL and announced a July deal with Geely to jointly
00:29develop electric vehicles for Europe.
00:31Chinese automakers are projected to export around 12 million vehicles this year, up from
00:35around 3 million in 2022.
