00:00Hello friends.
00:01What happens when your own commanders lie to you with fake videos generated by AI?
00:05Do you end up surrounded?
00:07The Ukrainians have just crushed the front at Lyman, leaving 2,000 casualties and 250
00:13prisoners.
00:14Next, I'll tell you how they did it.
00:18We begin with this unusual video from the cockpit point of view of a Su-25 Frogfoot
00:22of the Ukrainian Air Force on an attack mission over the Eastern Front.
00:26The aircraft flies at high speed and very low altitude before raising its nose to gain
00:31altitude and then drops a French hammer guided bomb on a target belonging to the invading
00:35forces.
00:36The hammer uses a modular guidance kit installed in the nose, combined with a range extension
00:41kit located in the tail section.
00:44The navigation system is based on a hybrid inertial and GPS architecture, which gives the weapon
00:49operational capability in any weather condition, as well as fire and forget capability and high
00:55resistance to jamming or spoofing of the bomb's signals.
00:59In fact, the inertial unit is capable of continuing to guide the bomb to the program coordinates
01:04even if the satellite signal is lost, achieving a circular error of approximately 10 meters.
01:12With all this, we can confidently say that the consequences will hit Ivan's positions with
01:16pinpoint accuracy and no lube.
01:22We continue on the airfront because the strategic bomber Tu-95MS was a Russian Aerospace Forces
01:28aircraft.
01:29It crashed engulfed in flames shortly after taking off from the Ukrinka airbase in the far
01:35east of the Federation Z during a routine training mission on Tuesday, September 29.
01:40The accident caused the death of six out of the seven crew members and resulted in the
01:44complete destruction of the aircraft.
01:47A video recorded at the crash site by witnesses captured the distinctive roar of the four Kuznetsov
01:53NK-12 turboprop engines of the Tuesday 95, followed by a flash and an intense fire when
01:59the fuselage hit the ground.
02:02The first reports released through Russian telegram channels indicated that the engines caught fire
02:07and mentioned a possible fuel explosion on board.
02:12The Tuesday 95 MS is a Cold War-era design that first flew in the 1950s and remains a fundamental
02:18pillar of Russia's long-range aviation and nuclear triad.
02:24Its unique propeller-driven configuration allows it to remain in flight for extended periods while
02:30carrying Kh-101 and Kh-55 cruise missiles, weapons that Russia has used extensively against Ukrainian
02:37cities from bases located within its own airspace.
02:42Ukrinka, located in the Russian Far East near the border with China, has become important
02:47as a rear operations center after Ukrainian attacks hit more Western facilities, such as
02:52the Engels base.
02:54The loss of a single aircraft is significant given the age of the platform, the limited
02:59number of remaining units, and the impact of sanctions on maintenance and spare parts supply.
03:06Independent estimates about the size of the operational Tuesday 95 fleet have varied in
03:11recent months, as this aircraft model is under great pressure due to both combat operations
03:15and previous accidents.
03:21On the Lyman front, the 3rd Army Corps announced on September 29 that its multi-layered communications
03:28architecture of the war.
03:30Ivan's Armed Forces
03:38Ukraine, the 3rd Armed Force of Ukraine, will gather Ukraine.
03:42The Corps reported that its system operated with 100% availability throughout the entire
03:47offensive and was able to restore its signals after suffering damage five times faster than
03:51the average of the rest of the armed forces of Ukraine.
03:55Alternative channels had been established in advance by order of General Beletsky.
04:00This redundancy kept the command posts connected with aerial and ground reconnaissance operating
04:05at the frontline, which allowed the mosquito and ground-grown attacks to continue even when
04:09the satellite link was interrupted.
04:13The announcement comes as the Corps marks the conclusion of the third phase of Vivaldi with
04:17the liberation of Novay, Rivkodov, and Katernivka, as well as the restoration of control over
04:22Karpivka, Inopomikhailovka, and Novomikhailovka.
04:26It added 51 square kilometers of liberated Ukrainian territory, bringing the total recovered since the
04:32start of the operation to 176 square kilometers.
04:36Russian casualties in this phase were estimated at 2,000 troops killed and more than 250 prisoners,
04:42including entire subunits with officers, drone operators, and artillerymen.
04:48Subsequent statements from the Corps put the total Russian personnel casualties over the
04:52three phases at approximately 5,000 troops.
04:56Novay was described as the key enemy node in the bridgehead of that sector.
04:59Control of the heights surrounding the settlement determines which site has the initiative in
05:05the entire sector.
05:07The Russian forces were led to believe that the main Ukrainian effort was directed at the
05:11Shandry-Olov-Selena-Dolina axis, so they sent and exhausted their reserves in counterattacks
05:17in that area.
05:20The real main effort of the Ukrainians was against Novay, where old Soviet armored personnel carriers
05:25were used to break through the strongest fortifications.
05:28Converted BTR-60 armored personnel carriers loaded with explosives and operated as unmanned
05:34kamikaze ground vehicles.
05:35The effect of the explosion was compared to that of a Cavglide bomb and destroyed a Russian
05:39command and communications node.
05:43The strengthening of the 3rd Corps' communications network was carried out before the intensification
05:47of Russian attacks against Ukrainian telecommunications infrastructure at the end of September.
05:52The decision of the 3rd Army Corps to establish redundant communications links in advance allowed
05:58its units to remain unaffected, and thus they were able to maintain the necessary pace both
06:02for the deception maneuver and for the subsequent exploitation of the breach opened in Ivan's
06:06front.
06:08In an environment where satellite links are both vital and vulnerable, the Corps presented
06:13its network as a practical demonstration that operational continuity can be achieved through
06:18technical design rather than simply being taken for granted.
06:23But so that our local Russophiles don't get depressed, we have some remarkable information
06:28for them.
06:29Well, at least I can stop laughing since the Russian mail bloggers have reported a growing
06:34trend where Russian commanders present AI-generated videos that show fake successes on the battlefield
06:41just to show results to the high command in Moscow, the one that's disconnected from
06:46reality on the Lyman front.
06:48This practice, which has been documented in dozens of videos since June of this year,
06:53contributed to hiding the Ukrainian advances that led to the recovery.
06:56Several settlements were recaptured and more than 250 Russian soldiers surrendered, among
07:01them officers, drone operators, and artillery crews.
07:06In videos from July, you can see that a soldier holding a Russian flag changes size as the camera
07:11moves away and then disappears.
07:14In another video, a flag fades away in the air, while the landscape remains static.
07:19The Institute for the Study of War recorded at least 35 videos of this kind between June and
07:24August of 2026.
07:27The mail blogger Z, Art, Yoki noted that the profile of the prisoners captured by the Ukrainians
07:33in their offensive consisted of specialists such as drone operators and artillerymen who
07:37are usually in the rear.
07:39Therefore, he assumes that their units were exposed due to false situation reports causing the Russian
07:45troops not to know where their own front line actually was.
07:49Lying is part of the military culture of the invaders, but now it is even more convincing,
07:54because it is enhanced by artificial intelligence.
07:57That's…
07:59That's all for today.
