00:00Call an ambulance! He killed him!
00:03One of them died.
00:06What did you say?
00:07I didn't go there looking for a fight.
00:10I only wanted to reach you.
00:12How did he die?
00:16He wouldn't let me leave.
00:20You're not going anywhere.
00:22He's waiting for me!
00:28Forget Ethan.
00:32Take your foot off.
00:49Hey!
00:50Call an ambulance!
00:52He killed him!
00:52Step away from the body!
00:54He slipped! He needs help!
00:55No pulse.
00:56This is no longer assault.
00:58You're under arrest for manslaughter.
01:04They arrested you for manslaughter?
01:07Yes.
01:08But you were defending yourself.
01:10A man still died because of me.
01:12What happened after they took you away?
01:16They put me on trial.
01:18The defendant pushed the victim during a physical confrontation.
01:21The victim struck the concrete steps and later died from the head injury.
01:24Mr. Cross was surrounded and attacked by several men.
01:26He did not start the fight and he did not intend to kill anyone.
01:29Intent does not change the result.
01:30I was trying to get away.
01:32I never wanted him to die.
01:33The court accepts that you were attacked first.
01:35The court also accepts that the death was not intentional.
01:38But your actions directly caused the death of another person.
01:41Raymond Cross, you are convicted of manslaughter.
01:44You are sentenced to five years in state prison.
01:46Can I make one phone call?
01:47I'll request it.
02:07Five years.
02:10You were in prison all that time?
02:14I thought you didn't want me.
02:16My son!
02:17You came back!
02:23Stand on the line.
