00:00I've just had a call that there's a death adder turned up in a toolbox somewhere near here
00:04So we're gonna get the address head out right now and catch the snake now
00:08We've just declared it's an early snake season and this checks out. They're on the move
00:12I'm gonna wrangle this bloke. This is one of the world's deadliest snakes. Let's go
00:16Hey, well, I'm Brandon. Good to see you. How's it going? You got your death adder somewhere? Yeah, right over
00:22there
00:23This little death adder was in the middle of a construction site in a toolbox
00:27So he must have been on the move last night before finding his way into there
00:32And he saw it as a safe little shelter to hang out. Well, let's have a look
00:38I'll tell you what he's oh
00:40Look at that. That is a death adder. Yeah, so there you go
00:43So it looks like a male death adder which makes sense because we're in just literally hit snake season
00:50And it's just been so warm. You felt that change. They've all just started moving
00:54So he would have been cruising all night and then he's just started to bunker down
00:58But we'll have a look at him say little males got a long tail
01:01He's actually out started the breeding season looking for a female. He doesn't look injured. He looks great
01:06He's in perfect nick. You can see
01:09so that's the
01:12Fastest striking snake in the world. They go 350 k's an hour in one in one quick flick. He's very
01:18fast
01:20But yeah, no, he looks really healthy
01:22I've been moving stuff here since 1990 right and i've never seen one
01:27No, I don't miss too much. Yeah. Well, these are they're pretty
01:31Uncommon to find as far as our snakes around here go like they they are a common species
01:36But they just blend in so well. They're very docile animals like he's not feeling stressed at all at the
01:42moment
01:42Like he's he's pretty relaxed
01:44Um, and as you said, he's a little bit tired. He's been out cruising all night. So he's not too
01:49worried
01:50Okay, well, it's time to put him away. We'll just lift him up. I've bought a little snake bag for
01:55him
01:57And we're just going to cruise him back to work. So what he's going to do now
02:00He's going to go into our quarantine facility for our venomous snakes. It's a good ending to his story
02:06And um, yeah, we are we're very grateful to receive any calls about these snakes
02:11But um, just a reminder be vigilant that the snakes are on the move right now
02:17They're cruising through backyards
02:18They're not to be worried about but definitely not to be mucked with just leave it to the professionals. Okay,
02:24we'll get him back
