A bizarre moment on an EVA Air business-class flight has left fellow travelers seriously uncomfortable.
During a Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight from Taiwan on September 24, a passenger was caught on video using a drinking glass to scratch and massage his scalp. He repeatedly dragged the rim of the upside-down glass through his hair and across his head while sitting in the premium cabin.
The unusual grooming routine was filmed by a passenger seated behind him, who reportedly reacted with disgust and said, “This is disgusting. It’s a cup, not a massage comb.” The witness also complained about losing their appetite ahead of the meal service, saying, “No one wants to eat your dandruff. I’m really going to vomit.”
Etiquette expert Diane Gottsman later told Fox News Digital that using a glass to scratch your head in public is inappropriate and unappealing.
The flight landed safely, but the unusual incident has sparked plenty of reactions online.
