00:01Thank you very much, Mr. President. It's a pleasure and an honor being here.
00:06I am Sayyid Muhammad Marandi from the University of Tehran.
00:10I'm very thankful to you for mentioning Dr. Larijani, who was martyred in the aggression against the Iranian people.
00:21He worked very hard in the struggle against ISIS and Al-Qaeda.
00:27He was very concerned about the well-being of the Palestinian people.
00:34And he led the resistance against the aggression against our country after the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei.
00:46We will obviously defend our country and we will emerge victorious.
00:53We recall the children of Minab who were slaughtered on the first day of war.
00:59The children of La Merde who were slaughtered on the first day of war.
01:04And the countless people who have been traumatized by this aggression.
01:09But the root of the cause is the genocide in Palestine alongside the independence of the Iranian people.
01:19This genocide won't stop.
01:22Every day we are hearing about new slaughter.
01:25And the determination is to exterminate the Palestinian people.
01:29And those who oppose that extermination are now being threatened with extermination.
01:35What can be done to save the children of Gaza?
01:48This is one of the most sensible, most acute humanitarian problems we are facing as far as the tragedy unfolding
01:57in Gaza is concerned.
02:21This settlement is only possible on the basis of all the previously adopted resolutions of the UN General Assembly,
02:27as well as the UN Security Council.
02:30The cornerstone, the foundation for this settlement is the establishment of a fully fledged Palestinian state.
02:38That's that.
02:41As for Dr. Larigiani, I have already said that all definitions aside, all legal evaluations aside,
02:57that our foreign ministry has given multiple times, I think that this is a tremendous mistake.
03:07Regardless of everything, and I knew Dr. Larigiani personally, he was a very positive person.
03:14And he was prepared to find some mutually acceptable compromises, primarily in the interests of the Iranian nation.
03:28Beyond any legal evaluation, this is a mistake, because such a person would be needed today to find compromise and
03:38solutions that could bring about peace in the Persian Gulf zone.
03:46Of course, the whole world is focused on what's happening and is amazed by the courage and heroism of the
03:56Iranian nation and its resilience.
04:00And about a deep number of substitutes in terms of government team and armed forces and IRGC and people prepared
04:15to sacrifice themselves in the name of the future of their nation.
