00:00During the Korean War, there was a man who went as far as executing his own troops over trivial
00:03matters. That man was Bacon Yeop, who served as the commander of the 17th Regiment. For instance,
00:06he even executed his Jeep driver simply for turning off the engine in the dead of winter.
00:10There were also times when he personally shot a signal man, or ordered subordinate officers to
00:13execute him simply for falling behind during a march. In fact, even during the Yosu-Sunchun
00:17incident, evidence emerged that he directly commanded and ordered the killing of civilians
00:20while serving as the deputy commander of the 12th Regiment. This man's older brother was
00:23none other than General Pike Sundaeop, who played a tremendous role in the Korean War.
