00:29This week on TNA Explosion, the Don West, you've got to be kidding me, top five trending topics of the
00:36week.
00:36In case you missed it, and in our main event, it's the hometown man up against Daddy Davis.
00:43But first, with the reveal of Samuel Shaw and Joseph Sawyer as the two behind all of the recent attacks
00:49backstage in TNA,
00:50we're looking back at some of Shaw's greatest matches in TNA Wrestling.
00:55Starting with this one.
00:56From one night only, World Cup 2015, where he represented Team Young to face Crazy Steve of Team Hardy one
01:05-on-one.
01:05This is From the Vault, presented by TNA+.
01:09Samuel Shaw is nuts.
01:11Crazy Steve is an enigma.
01:15Let's see what happens.
01:17What a matchup.
01:18Hey, JB.
01:19Look at these two.
01:21Yeah.
01:22Which one frightens you more?
01:24Can I say both?
01:28This is truly a meeting of the peculiar.
01:33Yeah, I mean, not even factoring in referee Brian Stifler.
01:38Well, Stifler has his shirt on, but you know what's underneath that shirt is Stifler.
01:42Actually, I don't.
01:43Pierce nipples.
01:47Sizing up his opponent, and Crazy Steve looks as perplexed.
01:54Oh, Sam Shaw seems a little bit perplexed by the monkey around the chain, around the neck.
02:06Well, do you have any idea why Steve wears a monkey around his neck?
02:10Is that a Louis Vuitton belt that Steve has on?
02:14He's into fashion.
02:20Well, I appreciate it.
02:22His pants are all ripped.
02:23You don't really see an LV belt with ripped up pants.
02:27Is Steve trying to talk?
02:29What the hell is going on here?
02:33Oh, just like that.
02:35Samuel Shaw's belt looks like it came from Hot Topic.
02:38Remember that store?
02:40Yeah.
02:41Remember Gadsuk's?
02:42Yeah, sure.
02:43Yeah.
02:45Spencer's?
02:46I love Spencer's.
02:49How about Samuel Shaw, though, with the way that Eric Young looked as though he welcomed
02:56another crazy man to the team.
02:58A man who is just as insane as the Monster Abyss.
03:03And I mean, unmatched when it comes to creepiness.
03:07And for a second time now, Shaw fights off Crazy Steve and makes a go for the monkey.
03:13Look at this.
03:25Look at this.
03:28Oh, I hate a myth.
03:31Is Crazy Steve fighting Sam and Shaw?
03:35Yeah.
03:35Why is Sam and Shaw obsessed with the monkey?
03:39It could go back to some psychological things from his childhood, possibly.
03:44I think he realizes the affection.
03:49Crazy Steve, and that represents, wait a minute now, back to referee Brian Stifler.
03:53Hot Potato, Crazy Steve now, still has it.
03:59Now we're going to the other corner.
04:01I, I, I, uh, you know I love one that almost.
04:07Look at, look at Sam Shaw.
04:10If there's any doubt as to who the most insane member of the Impact Wrestling roster is,
04:15we are having that question answered right now.
04:18At least between one of these two in the ring.
04:20I guarantee you that.
04:21I think you forgot about Terrence Row.
04:24She's crazy.
04:25She's a hot mess.
04:27She's a hot mess.
04:28Look at this.
04:30Stifler, get out of there.
04:31So in one corner there's a monkey.
04:34I think there's a bell in the other corner.
04:36Uh, something in the other corner.
04:38Sam and Shaw has black gloves on.
04:40He has tattoos because he likes Gunner.
04:42And, uh, Crazy Steve has a Louis Vuitton belt on.
04:47So, by that assessment, I think that Crazy Steve has the advantage in this match.
04:53Well, it's difficult to really map out any predictability with either one of these two.
04:57Let's be honest.
04:58Yeah.
05:00It's, uh, Samuel Shaw all over Crazy Steve here.
05:07Crazy Steve, Jeff Hardy said, look, I wanted him on my team.
05:09He's an enigma.
05:11Crazy Steve has got, it was almost like Jeff Hardy had to defend the pick of Crazy Steve to Christy
05:17Emi.
05:18Well, when you take a look at the draft picks, pretty interesting.
05:22Hardy selects Gunner.
05:23Of course, we saw Davey Richards earlier.
05:25We saw Gail Kim also join the ranks of Team Jeff Hardy.
05:30But when he picked Crazy Steve, everyone else on the team was, I think, mildly amused.
05:36Well, look at the team that Eric Young put together.
05:39Eric Young just picked a group of psychos.
05:43Including Samuel Shaw.
05:45Well, you know, kind of, they say what, uh,
05:50if you want to hang around people you're comfortable with,
05:52and Eric Young fits right into that category.
05:54Eric Young may be the leader of a group of psychos.
05:56Like the new A-Team.
05:58For the Avengers.
06:00For the X-Men.
06:02For the Y-Men.
06:08A very suplex there by Samuel Shaw.
06:12If Samuel Shaw could keep his focus on Crazy Steve,
06:17Steve may be in trouble.
06:19Cover.
06:20Lacks a daizical.
06:21And Steve pops free at two.
06:22We've seen from Crazy Steve before a real, I've used the word, unorthodox style, unorthodox to describe him and everything
06:33he does.
06:35And it's hard to plan for a match when you've got a guy who have no idea what's going to
06:39happen when he comes out.
06:40He might be carrying a monkey around a chain, he might put the horn in your face, he might be
06:45wearing a Louis Vuitton belt.
06:47Unpredictable.
06:49As is, wait a minute now, as is Sam Shaw.
06:54Sam Shaw has his eyes on Crazy Steve's monkey.
07:02Crazy Steve's friend, his confidant, the only person that can understand anything that Steve, I'm going to say says, but
07:10he really talks with that, what do you call that thing, the horn.
07:16From the top with the monkey?
07:19Sam Shaw misses with the leg drop off the top, that'll send shivers down your spine.
07:28That hurts, folks.
07:32Tell you what, it just jars you.
07:34Yeah, it really does.
07:35That's kind of an impact from that height.
07:40And Crazy Steve trying to take advantage here.
07:43Crazy Steve.
07:47All sorts of fired up.
07:52And Crazy Steve going to work here.
07:57on Samuel Shaw.
08:00Jeff Hardy may not be crazy with his pick of Crazy Steve.
08:06It may be genius.
08:08Ah, I'm with you.
08:15Team Young yet to get on the board, and this would be the opportunity.
08:21that Team Young needs.
08:24Sam Shaw would have to get the victory to attain that spot on the board, pick up that point.
08:32Crazy Steve, monkey in hand.
08:35Monkey's got the symbols in hand.
08:36Yeah, the referee stopped that for good reason.
08:39Good job.
08:39Oh, low blow, though.
08:40Low blow by Samuel Shaw.
08:43Oh, just like that.
08:44We've seen this before, Josh.
08:45This is it.
08:46This usually spells the end for any opponent of Sam Shaw.
08:50Samuel Shaw, psychotic.
08:52He's trying to put away.
08:54Crazy Steve.
08:57And Steve may be going to sleep.
09:01Steve's out.
09:02That's it.
09:03Called by Stifler.
09:05Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the match,
09:08representing Team Eric Young,
09:12Sam Shaw.
09:19So Eric Young, who selected Samuel Shaw
09:22as a part of his team.
09:26Samuel Shaw at points in this match seemed distracted.
09:29Was caught up with the monkey and the symbols and the whore
09:33and all the antics of Steve.
09:36But Samuel Shaw put it together.
09:39Put Steve to sleep.
09:41Picked up the win.
09:42Put Eric Young's team on the board.
09:44Yep.
09:45And Samuel Shaw is leaving with the trophy.
09:49Not the World Cup trophy.
09:51But the monkey.
09:53Crazy Steve.
09:55Eric Young approves.
09:57Eric Young has to be happy.
09:59His team's on the board, finally.
10:00These two are nuts, KB.
10:03Absolutely nuts.
10:07Still to come in our main event.
10:09Can the hometown man take down Daddy Davis?
10:13We'll find out later on tonight.
10:14But coming up next, we'll take you back to Impact,
10:17where Kiera Hogan, one half of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions,
10:21challenged M by Elegance for the TNA Knockouts Television Championship.
10:26The first ever defense of this brand new title.
10:30It's In Case You Missed It, next on Explosion.
10:39Welcome back to TNA Explosion.
10:41And now it's time for In Case You Missed It.
10:52I see they don't want to smoke, it's real pressure when I step.
10:56They gonna lose it all.
10:57They ain't pick me if they...
10:58The only contest is scheduled for one fall.
11:01And it's for the TNA Knockouts TV Championship.
11:07Introducing first, accompanied by Allie from Atlanta, Georgia.
11:11She is one half of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, Kiera Hogan.
11:22We are set for a historic moment here on TNA Thursday Night Impact on AMC.
11:28The first ever defense of the TNA Knockouts Television Championship.
11:32And who's gonna get that first shot?
11:34None other than one half of the current Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
11:39And the ones who successfully defended against the Elegance brand at Lockdown, Kiera Hogan.
11:44Can I have your attention, please?
11:48Yes, you can!
11:49I hate him.
11:50I hate him, inside and out.
11:53You know what I love about Canada?
11:57Leaving Canada!
12:00And I can't wait to get on a plane and fly over the new Lake America.
12:12And welcome, the first ever TNA Knockouts Television Champion, M by Elegance.
12:29Remember, ladies and gentlemen, there can only be one first ever.
12:36That distinction, that honor, that pleasure, that right goes to 1M by Elegance.
12:44And if you think she worked all the way through that tournament just to be turned back here by her
12:51first challenger,
12:52I think you're gonna have another thing coming.
12:55And I hope Kiera Hogan is ready for this opportunity.
13:00Three weeks ago, live here on Impact, M by Elegance defeated Jada Stone in the finals of the TNA Knockouts
13:08Television Championship Tournament
13:10to make history and become the inaugural champion.
13:14Tonight, she has to defend the title against Kiera Hogan, who, remember, was out of action for over a year
13:20in professional wrestling
13:22until her return at Lockdown.
13:23So, this is her first singles match in quite some time, but M by Elegance is about to defend against
13:29a now three-time TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion in Hogan.
13:35Now, Tom, we want to point out the championship-deciding matchup.
13:39Of course, we threw the time limit out the window because we wanted to guarantee have a champion.
13:44But now, with the title in place, we are here establishing a throwback again to that 10-minute time limit,
13:51a throwback to the traditional rules of television titles of the past.
13:55This one is all about pace, action, and excitement in the Knockouts Division.
13:59Remember, the TNA Knockouts Television Championship will be exclusively defended right here on Impact.
14:07M by Elegance and Kiera Hogan, a brand-new opportunity, a brand-new legacy while simultaneously honoring the past, as
14:15you outlined.
14:17Someone who is a perfect representation of, that is the champ herself, M by Elegance.
14:22Going to have a hell of a reach advantage here, much taller than Kiera Hogan.
14:28Going to see if she uses that to her advantage, and already, there you go.
14:31Remember, it was Heather and M who got their contractual rematch for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles at
14:37lockdown.
14:39They faced Ali and Hogan that night, covering a kickout with Rosemary mysteriously disappearing.
14:45Some have pointed at the Elegance brand for that disappearance.
14:48Oh, come on.
14:49I think that's nothing but hearsay and conjecture.
14:51It was Hogan who pinned M to help Ali and herself retain the titles at lockdown.
14:58A step-up light drop.
15:01Cover.
15:02To win the title in a kickout.
15:04If those handcuffs would have worked and stayed together, I heard that Personal Concierge has a lawsuit out against the
15:11manufacturer of those handcuffs.
15:13Because if they would have worked, they would still be tag team champions.
15:16The Elegance brand on top.
15:17Oh, shocked to hear that the Personal Concierge was behind a defective plan.
15:22No, no, no.
15:23It was the brand of the, of the, of the, of the, of the cuffs.
15:26Finkelstein knows a guy.
15:27They're going to get a lawyer from South Beach.
15:29Finkelstein's a doctor.
15:30Yes, I know, but he knows a people.
15:32Oh, blockbuster by M.
15:35Trust me.
15:36Here we go.
15:36Trying to retain and a kickout.
15:42Come on.
15:43Come on now.
15:45Come on.
15:46Get her.
15:47Get her.
15:48Terrible.
15:49Yes.
16:02Oh, M connecting with the rear view there.
16:05And now a double drop kick.
16:06On cover here to retain the title.
16:09Oh, hoagie kicks out.
16:13KONIEC!
16:41And right now, M by Elegance doing a great job of maintaining control.
16:47And I spoke too soon of Kiera Hogan who's trying to find some breathing room.
16:52But M snuffs it out once again.
16:54A little flurry by M. Here's a cover and a kick out.
16:57It was peculiar to not see M in the Elegance brand corner
17:01when Heather went one-on-one with Elena Black recently here on Impact.
17:05I think it shows a lot of faith in Heather's abilities.
17:07I'm sorry you doubt Heather so much.
17:08It was M who volunteered Heather to face off against Elena Black
17:14when Elena got in M's face wanting a title shot.
17:18Oh!
17:19Look, you don't just get title shots, but apparently Kiera Hogan got one.
17:23With Derry Ray around here,
17:25apparently you have to move heaven and earth to get a title shot.
17:27Only if you're in D. Hartwell, to be fair.
17:30Ooh!
17:30Missile dropkick there.
17:34Kiera Hogan.
17:35Missed for this.
17:36Ooh!
17:37A loop attack in the corner.
17:41M in a bad spot here and a single leg dropkick in the corner.
17:45The champion's in trouble.
17:46M's on Dream Street here.
17:48Can Hogan become a double champion in a kick out?
17:52We already got one double champ. Why not another?
17:55I think Hammeth would be furious.
17:58Hey, he likes to ride it, buddy.
18:00Now Hogan.
18:01Trying to close out M by Elegance.
18:05Trying to set up for face the music.
18:07That's how Hogan pinned M at lockdown.
18:10Ooh!
18:13Learn from lockdown there.
18:16Spinning into the code breaker.
18:18Is it enough?
18:19Trying to tuck the arm though.
18:20Hogan's still alive.
18:24Look at this.
18:25The urgency of M by Elegance to go to the top rope.
18:30Oh!
18:31Salt misses!
18:33That's devastating.
18:35Now Hogan trying to find her footage.
18:37Dropkick out of the corner.
18:39There goes the champ.
18:41Let's go!
18:41M by Elegance turning side out there.
18:43This is not good.
18:44If you're the Elegance brand, if you're M by Elegance,
18:47history could be stuffed out.
18:51Oh!
18:51Oh, wait a minute.
18:52He's trying to set up.
18:53Hogan there.
18:54M able to escape.
18:56That move helped M win the title against Jada Stone in the finals of the tournament.
19:02That's right.
19:04Clearly, Kiera Hogan doing her homework.
19:10Hogan, back elbow, protecting herself in the corner.
19:15Ooh!
19:16Great catch there from M by Elegance.
19:20And now look out.
19:22Oh, now M dumping Kiera Hogan head first into the canvas.
19:27M by Elegance retains.
19:33Here is your winner, and still the TNA Knockouts TV champion, M by Elegance.
19:44M by Elegance retains the TNA Knockouts Television Championship in the first defense of the title.
19:51A valiant effort by Kiera Hogan.
19:55But ultimately, in the end, it was end by Elegance, who was able to find the answer.
20:02Boom!
20:03After the counter.
20:05To absolutely plant Kiera Hogan, just like in the finals, and retain her Knockouts TV title.
20:17And now, here on TNA Explosion, it's time for the Don West You Gotta Be Kidding Me Top 5 Trending
20:24Topics of the Week in honor of the late great TNA Hall of Famer Don West.
20:29At number five, this past Thursday, live on Impact on AMC, Elena Black won a four-way match to become
20:37the number one contender to the TNA Knockouts Television Champion, M by Elegance.
20:42M has been avoiding Elena Black as of late, but now, the first ever TNA Knockouts TV Champion must defend
20:49her title against the only one.
20:52At number four, the situation between the TNA World Champion, Nick Nemeth, and his Bound for Glory challenger, Leon Slater,
21:00has gotten so intense that our Director of Authority, Santino Marella, has put a no-contact clause in place between
21:07the champion and challenger along the path to Bound for Glory.
21:11What will this mean for the main event of our biggest event of the year on Sunday, October 11th, live
21:17in Tampa, Florida? It's Bound for Glory.
21:20At number three, speaking of championships, this past Thursday, we saw a three-way match for the TNA International Championship.
21:29Mustafa Ali returned for the first time since lockdown, where he suffered a punctured lung and managed to escape with
21:36his title against Jason Hotch and Trey Miguel.
21:39What is the future of the TNA International Championship now along the path to Bound for Glory? And what is
21:45the future of Order 4?
21:47At number two, another huge title match has been made for Bound for Glory. Indy Hartwell finally gets her shot
21:54at the TNA Knockouts World Title as she will challenge Ziya Brookside at Bound for Glory.
22:00Can Indy Hartwell shock Daria Ray and finally capture the title she has coveted since her days as a young
22:08fan back in Australia?
22:10And at number one, for weeks we have been speculating who is responsible for a number of attacks on multiple
22:18members of the TNA Wrestling roster.
22:20This past week, live on Impact, we got our answer. Not one, but two attackers as we saw regarding Matt
22:28Hardy the week before.
22:29Joseph Sawyer and the returning Samuel Shaw are behind all of these assaults. What will happen next along the path
22:38to Bound for Glory?
22:42Still to come in our main event from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, the hometown man goes one-on-one with Daddy
22:48Davis.
22:49But up next, we look back at another classic match featuring Samuel Shaw in light of his return to TNA.
22:56Coming up, Shaw faces Mr. Anderson inside a steel cage at Lockdown 2014.
23:03It's From the Vault presented by TNA+, next on Explosion.
23:11My legacy in the X Division is forever cemented.
23:17Bound for Glory, I'm exercising Option C.
23:21And I will become the youngest world champion that this company has ever seen you get me.
23:29Live from the Yangling Center in Tampa, Florida, TNA Wrestling presents Bound for Glory.
23:36Sunday, October 11, tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster.com.
23:42Welcome back to TNA Explosion.
23:45And now it's time for more From the Vault presented by TNA+.
24:01Anderson heads towards the steel cage.
24:06Samuel Shaw, Kirk's still up at the top.
24:08Yeah, he's still up there. You're gonna have to get down.
24:10But I got a funny feeling Anderson might climb up and go get him.
24:18Here comes Anderson into the cage, and the cage door is going to be locked shut because this is escape
24:26the cage rules.
24:28You can go over the top of the cage, obviously.
24:31You can go out the door, Kaz.
24:33Key being, you've got to get your feet on the floor to gain the win.
24:38Yeah, and that's a lot harder than it sounds.
24:41I mean, so the thing is, if you're Samuel Shaw, I mean, he's just obsessed that Christy Hemi is not
24:47out here.
24:49And I think he's forgetting about the, you know, the prize in front of him is he's got to deal
24:53with Mr. Anderson in a straight-up match here and escape the cage.
24:56And while Samuel Shaw, let's be honest, in terms of experience, he's at a massive disadvantage against Mr. Anderson, you
25:06still have to factor in how unorthodox he is, that obsessive behavior, and his unpredictability.
25:13Very much so, and he's tough.
25:15He can sustain a lot of pain, and Anderson can dish out a lot of pain, so it makes for
25:20a good match.
25:21But the thing is, Samuel Shaw can sustain a lot of pain, and he also, let's not forget, possesses a
25:28very lethal chokehold.
25:30Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
25:31Check this out.
25:32Christy Hemi making her way down the ramp towards the rings, and I guess he's got to feel safe at
25:36this point.
25:37Yeah, I totally agree, Mike.
25:37That definitely probably is, being that Samuel Shaw is locked in a cage and getting his rear end whooped right
25:43now by Anderson.
25:47The multi-time world heavyweight champion, Mr. Anderson.
25:51Sorry, Mike, if you notice that Christy, she's kind of chilling a little bit, cheering on Mr. Anderson.
25:56I mean, she does have a friendship with Anderson for a lot of years.
25:59I mean, as far as I know, that's all it is, and you can't blame her.
26:02We've seen it on Impact Wrestling several occasions.
26:04Mr. Anderson just showing Christy photos, pictures of his young babies.
26:09Well, that's all he was doing.
26:10And look, you know, if you're Christy Hemi, I know Christy, she just want this nightmare of Samuel Shaw to
26:15just end.
26:16And it might, right now, it just might check, because it's coming.
26:19That is set up in mid-ring, but not worn down sufficiently because Sammy Shaw is able to answer.
26:25Series of elbows to the side of the head.
26:27And then the gut wrench suplex by Anderson.
26:31Shades of the late, great Billy Robinson.
26:33There you go.
26:34I mean, the gut wrench suplex.
26:35I mean, he just lost Billy recently, unfortunately.
26:38But that gut wrench, when I see it, I think of him.
26:41But right now, Anderson is in a lot of trouble because Samuel Shaw turned the table.
26:47In terms of escape the cage, nothing more important than the beatdown process.
26:51You've got to gain that separation from your opponent that enables you to have the confidence to go up and
26:58over the top or out the cage door.
27:00Yes.
27:00Well, look at Sammy now.
27:01He's starting to climb.
27:01I'm not sure if he realizes.
27:04I don't know if he knows that Christy's outside here.
27:08Not sure.
27:08But it looks like Samuel's trying to leave.
27:10Maybe Christy should go to the back and get the hell out of here.
27:15Shaw has made his way all the way to the top of the cage.
27:18He's up there.
27:18Oh, yeah.
27:18He's up there high.
27:20And trying to get over the top.
27:22And here comes Anderson to cut him off.
27:27Ooh.
27:28What a dangerous position at the top of the cage.
27:32As Shaw fights back.
27:33Check out those strikes.
27:35Rapid fire.
27:36Lights one after the other.
27:37Yeah.
27:37You can sense how it's walked Anderson.
27:39Ooh.
27:40Oh, my God.
27:41Well, great balance, too, by Sam and Shaw to keep himself up there while he's throwing
27:45those punches.
27:46Oh, man.
27:48And Anderson able to hang on to the side of the cage while Shaw rocked it.
27:54Putting face first right up above us here.
27:55You saw how Anderson went face first.
27:58Again, Mike.
27:59Oh, again.
27:59Wow.
28:00Oh, man.
28:01Force in the impact.
28:02That time sends Anderson back and now doors open for an escape.
28:08You see right now, Samuel Shaw still.
28:12Now he's trying to get the hell out of here for sure.
28:16Again, he's got one leg over the top.
28:19The recovery by Anderson enables him to drag him back in.
28:26Oh, we turned the favor right there.
28:29That is fair play with the turnabout.
28:32Oh, the creepy bastard's getting his face rammed into that steel fence.
28:36Oh, this cage.
28:38That time able to stop Anderson and Shaw with the back elbows.
28:45Watch out.
28:46Oh, my God.
28:47Wow.
28:49It's the back suplex.
28:51Both men landing hard, but look at Samuel Shaw.
28:54Looks like he fell out of a building.
28:56What a crash that was.
28:59Boy, I hope we get.
29:00Yeah, there it is.
29:01Here comes the replay.
29:02And there you see the impact.
29:04Wow.
29:06Man, that was a really ugly landing.
29:09Christy Hemme out here, I mean.
29:11Sense the concern on the face of Christy Hemme.
29:14You can't blame her after everything that she's been through.
29:17Well, let's be honest.
29:19Samuel Shaw's put this young lady through hell.
29:20I mean, really.
29:22It's been a mildly, right?
29:23He's a freaking nutty stalker type creepy bastard.
29:26I mean, that's really it.
29:27The shrine.
29:28Yeah, that was.
29:29A little creepy.
29:31Yeah, very much.
29:32And now, Anderson able to recover off of his own suplex.
29:36But like I said, both men landed hard.
29:38Oh!
29:40What a desperation move that time by Samuel Shaw, but it certainly paid off.
29:44That's what I mean about Samuel Shaw.
29:46He's dangerous.
29:47He can recover.
29:48Like I said earlier, he can sustain a ton of punishment.
30:00You hear our audience here.
30:01Hold up.
30:03More creepy bastard chants.
30:06Maybe they're talking to you, Mike.
30:07What?
30:08Oh, whoa, whoa.
30:09Look at this.
30:10He spotted Christy.
30:11Yeah, there's your question answered that you had from a couple of minutes ago.
30:15Eye contact made with Christy.
30:18He wants out now.
30:18Look at this.
30:20That's one of the options to win the match.
30:23Christy, go back stands.
30:24Get out of here.
30:26Come on.
30:26Uh-oh.
30:27Uh-oh.
30:27Watch.
30:29Wow.
30:30How about the contact there?
30:31Not only does Samuel Shaw go to the cage door, senior official Earl Hebner rocked as the cage door opened.
30:39Mic check is coming, baby.
30:41Nailed it.
30:41Mid ring.
30:42Eye at him.
30:47Perfect execution by Anderson of the patented mic check.
30:52And you can see that's a little bit of a smile right there in the face of Christy Hemme.
30:56All over with the shouting here for Mr. Anderson.
30:59Don't see any movement.
31:00I mean, he can't get out because the referee got dropped.
31:02So he's got the key to that lock.
31:04That's true.
31:05So your option is to climb.
31:06Gotta climb out.
31:06Gotta climb out of it.
31:08Is Anderson not satisfied with the mic check?
31:12The lifeless form of Samuel Shaw dragged up to his feet.
31:20Gonna nail that mic check right here for Shaw.
31:23And forget about it if he hits it.
31:30Oh.
31:31Top of his head right to the second buckle.
31:38Christy, she's so happy.
31:43I know you are.
31:44Shaw's not moving at all.
31:46Look at that.
31:46He's done.
31:47This is over.
31:48Christy Hemme's nightmare looks like it's ended.
31:51You're happy with that?
31:52Yes.
31:53Are you happy with that?
31:55Yeah.
31:56Move along, you frickin' weirdo.
31:59Well, there's a new one frickin' weirdo.
32:04See?
32:06Yeah, you're right.
32:07They picked up the chant.
32:09I think sufficient separation at this point should enable.
32:14Yeah, Christy cheerleading at Cateside.
32:17Look at him.
32:17And Anderson scaling up and he's at the top of the cage.
32:22Christy's so exuberant.
32:23Oh, no, no.
32:24Wait a minute.
32:24What?
32:25What?
32:27No.
32:28No.
32:29No.
32:31Oh, no.
32:31Oh, my God.
32:32No, no.
32:33What the?
32:33She's got her.
32:35Anderson drops to the floor.
32:36He's got this match won.
32:37Ken, pull her out.
32:38Ken, pull her out.
32:40Oh, jeez.
32:40Oh, my God.
32:42He's got her in a cage.
32:43Samuel, so I dragged her right through the opening that we used for the cameras.
32:47Are you kidding me?
32:48And the referee's out.
32:50The door's locked.
32:51Ken, get in there.
32:52Oh, God.
32:53And Anderson up the side of the cage knocked down by Shaw.
32:56You're right.
32:57Christy's in danger.
32:58This is the worst statement.
32:58She's trapped in a cage with this friggin' maniac.
33:04Oh, no.
33:04Ken's got the key, I think.
33:07I saw him run around there, probably by Hebner.
33:10He's got to get in this cage.
33:12Christy, come on.
33:13Come on, Ken.
33:14Whoa.
33:18Keep swinging, Christy.
33:22Come on, Ken.
33:22There goes Ken.
33:23Here we go.
33:23Here we go.
33:27Oh.
33:27There you go.
33:28Oh, man.
33:29What a haymaker.
33:30Wow.
33:31What a shot.
33:34Get out of here.
33:35Yeah, exactly.
33:35Get around in his cage.
33:38Oh.
33:39From behind.
33:40What a cheap shot, low blow by Shaw.
33:47There it is.
33:48There it is.
33:49That Kotaku Katami.
33:50He hooked the Kotaku Katami in that choke.
33:53It does not need to be on long to put you out.
33:57And, my God.
33:59Ken, you gotta try and break that grip.
34:01Yes.
34:03You can just see, though.
34:04You can see the face of Anderson.
34:07You can see.
34:08Oh, he's fading.
34:08He's done.
34:09You're right, fading.
34:09He's fading away.
34:15Yeah, once that hold is in that tight, it's over.
34:18It's out.
34:19Oh, my God.
34:20I can't believe this.
34:26The arm and head choke of Samuel Shaw.
34:31Good for Trisha to get the heck out of here.
34:33He's laid out Anderson.
34:37And he's just walking out.
34:38He choked the man out and just walked it out.
34:40Wait a minute.
34:42That's it.
34:43Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the match.
34:47Samuel Shaw.
34:48Anderson had this match won.
34:49But the referee, Earl Hebner, was knocked down.
34:52Didn't see Anderson climb over the top.
34:54He touched the floor.
34:55And then Anderson, in essence, I guess you would say, sacrificed the win to go back in and save and
35:01help Christy Hemming.
35:03Yeah, I completely agree with everything you just said.
35:06What a whacked out, crazy turn of events.
35:09Oh, my God.
35:09It was terrifying when Christy got dragged into the cage.
35:14I mean, she was just celebrating Ken about to climb out.
35:22Up next, it's our main event.
35:24The hometown man clashes with Daddy Davis.
35:28Don't go anywhere.
35:29This match is next on Explosion.
35:36You have 30 seconds.
35:37Go!
35:39Oh!
35:44There we go.
35:48No!
35:50No!
35:56No!
35:58No!
36:01This is gonna be unbelievable.
36:12Following contest is scheduled for one call.
36:15Introducing first, he's the daddy of the family ranch.
36:20Weighing in at 215 pounds, Daddy Davis.
36:26All right, Gia, educate me.
36:27Well, I see this father has come fully prepared with the diaper bag in tow.
36:35I mean, and he's clearly got the dad bod on him, so I'm feeling hopeful for Daddy Davis.
36:40I think there's a lot of dads out there that wish they were in as good a shape as Daddy
36:43Davis, but what's in the bag?
36:46That's the thing.
36:47A diaper bag, you have to be prepared for anything.
36:50So who knows what tricks he has in that pack?
36:55I know you love silver-haired men, so this should be interesting.
36:59Indeed I do.
37:01He's a hometown man.
37:08Oh, I love it!
37:09And his opponent, from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 215 pounds, the Hometown Man!
37:21Well, we are in the home venue, the CAA Center, of the Brampton Honey Badgers, who were the runners-up
37:28to the Canadian Elite Basketball League Championship in August of 2026.
37:34Congratulations to the Honey Badgers for all their success, and, of course, the Honey Badgers owned by Lynn Asper, the
37:41owner of Anthem Sports & Entertainment.
37:42So we're all family between TNA Wrestling and the Honey Badgers, as well as Ron Power and J Paul Massey
37:48Singh.
37:49It's almost like a hometown advantage for all of us here at TNA Wrestling, but especially for the Hometown Man.
38:00And you know what they say about Honey Badgers, they don't take no ish.
38:04We're also in the home of the Canadian Hockey League's Brampton Steelheads, so shout out to the Steelheads.
38:09Shout out to the Steelheads, I don't know anything about hockey, but I love the Boy Aquarium!
38:17So, there's the bell, our referee, Paige Brinzavalli, presiding over this matchup here on Explosion.
38:23The Hometown Man up against Daddy Davis.
38:31There goes Davis off the ropes, big shoulder tackle to start things off against the Hometown Man.
38:36Decided size advantage in the corner of Daddy Davis.
38:40He is the world's greatest father, ten years running, so he's looking to give some fatherly advice to the Hometown
38:48Man tonight.
38:49What do you think of the mustache?
38:50I'm a big fan of the mustache.
38:52You are? Okay.
38:52I have to admit it, I love a mustache.
38:55I can't lie to you, Tom.
38:57I love a dad bod, I love silver hair, and I love a mustache.
39:01I'm a simple girl.
39:03Yeah!
39:04The Hometown Man with a side headlock applied here.
39:08You know, oh, there's a shoulder tackle from HTM.
39:11The Hometown Man is a tremendous father in his own right.
39:14The man we all know is Cody Diener's four children.
39:18What does Cody Diener have to do with anything?
39:20The identity of the Hometown Man.
39:22What are you talking about?
39:24I'm talking about facts.
39:26Did you?
39:27Were you playing around on the crash pads earlier?
39:31You mean the Fuji Max crash pads we have from the wonderful people at Fuji Max?
39:35Yeah, I think you may have rattled your brain in there a little bit.
39:37That is the Hometown Man whose identity is completely unknown.
39:42But we do know one thing about him is that he's from right here in Brampton.
39:47On the move, hip attack in the corner, scrambling Davis.
39:54Ready?
39:55Count with me, Hometown.
39:57Here we go.
39:59One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
40:11And right hand from the Hometown Man.
40:15Is it enough?
40:16Look to the leg.
40:17Kick out by Daddy Davis.
40:20This father figure is able to stay in this match.
40:24And now everyone is welcome for singing George Michael.
40:28Hometown Man!
40:30Hometown Man!
40:31Hometown Man!
40:33Hometown Man!
40:33Hometown Man!
40:36Hometown Man!
40:41Hometown Man!
40:42Look out!
40:43Throat first into the top rope goes the Hometown Man!
40:48Hometown Man!
40:48And now Daddy Davis pummeling him center of the ring.
40:54Hey, it's just a good thing that Daddy Davis don't have a belt on his trunks.
40:59I mean, what year is it, Gia?
41:00I know you grew up in Mississippi, but come on now.
41:03Corporal punishment was effective on me, but there's a reason I act right.
41:10But I don't condone it for anybody else.
41:12It's 2026.
41:13We need to-
41:14Please don't beat your children.
41:16Please.
41:16Please.
41:17Please don't beat your children.
41:17Full disclaimer.
41:18Daddy Davis on the attack here against the Hometown Man.
41:24Referee Paige Brinzavalli backing up Davis, checking on the Hometown Man.
41:28Make sure he can continue.
41:30Of course he can continue.
41:31He's got his whole hometown behind him.
41:34There's one thing we know about the Hometown Man is that he won't quit.
41:38There's Rod Power and Jay Paul Massey saying, uh, not big fans of Daddy Davis.
41:43Oh, no.
41:44What did I tell you, Tom?
41:45It might be 2026, but Daddy Davis is old school.
41:50I haven't seen a grown man spanked in a wrestling ring in a minute.
41:55There's a lot of things we need to bring back into wrestling.
41:58Pass.
41:58Pass on that one.
41:59Look out.
42:00The Hometown Man fed up with Daddy Davis.
42:03On the move.
42:04There's a clothesline.
42:07Hometown Man starting to build momentum.
42:09Oh, here we go.
42:11Big power slam.
42:20There's the Hometown elbow drop.
42:23There's a cover.
42:25Look to the leg.
42:26Oh, and the shoulder up in time.
42:30Oh, Hometown Man looking to dish out some discipline on of his own.
42:38What is happening in this match?
42:40It's only fair.
42:41And he does have a belt.
42:42So you know what?
42:43We'll call that mercy.
42:45Is it time for the Hometown Slice?
42:47No, Davis felt it coming.
42:48Uh-oh.
42:49It's time for a ride today.
42:53And another gut buster.
42:56Look to the leg.
42:57And a power out there.
42:59The Hometown Man out at two.
43:03Daddy Davis looks shocked.
43:05Oh, and he's looking around.
43:06I knew it.
43:07He was looking for that diaper bag.
43:09What's he got?
43:10Oh.
43:11Oh, is that what I think it is?
43:13A baby bottle?
43:15Please tell me that's milk he got from a store.
43:18I hope it's been refrigerated.
43:22Is it 2%?
43:23I don't want to find out.
43:25I hope it's like that.
43:26No, no, no.
43:27You're the baby.
43:28He's your only son.
43:29No, no.
43:30He's the guy.
43:31He's the guy.
43:32He's the guy.
43:33He's the guy.
43:35He's the guy.
43:36He's the guy.
43:37That's right.
43:38What are you gonna do?
43:39What are you gonna do?
43:41Yeah, you take it up.
43:42There you go.
43:43Oh!
43:46J Paul Massey sing with the milk.
43:48Ron Power with the Honey Badger head.
43:53I got something.
43:54It's all milk.
43:55Oh, I do not want to know the answer to that.
43:58Oh!
43:59Going up to the top rope.
44:02Cross body.
44:04Cover.
44:06The hometown man meets Danny Davis.
44:11Here is your winner.
44:13The hometown man.
44:17It looks like Danny Davis is about to be an absentee father.
44:20The results are in.
44:21The hometown man is the father of Brampton.
44:26He's a hometown man.
44:28He could be.
44:29He's a hometown man.
44:32It was just as much.
44:33Oh.
44:34What a moment here in Brampton, Ontario, Canada,
44:38for TNA Wrestling.
44:39Let's take a look back here.
44:40J Paul Massey sing.
44:43Firing milk into the eyes of Danny Davis.
44:46Ron Power.
44:47Use that Honey Badger head as a weapon as well.
44:50And then the patented cross body,
44:52which has helped put away opponents for ages in professional wrestling.
44:56The hometown man wins.
