00:22All right, hello, so I currently have the hair cap sewn onto my doll.
00:30And I've got all this bundled up hair, nice and organized, but I'm about to take them off now because
00:39I'm going to get ready to style my doll's hair.
01:15So I have these different chunks here.
01:18If you are like me and you do like the look of yarn hair, then feel free to keep it
01:26the way it is.
01:27So I'm going to release these bundles now.
01:34Take these off.
01:39Kind of tied a funny bow there.
01:58And this very last one as well.
02:04All right, and as you can see, oops, there it is.
02:11As you can see, my doll has a middling part going through the center of her head.
02:20And I'm kind of seeing that the part isn't totally even.
02:25So I can easily fix that by brushing a few strands here and there.
02:32So I'm going to move these, move these and even it out.
02:39And if you like kind of a natural, unruly look, that is great too.
02:44Just keep it the way it is.
02:46All natural, right?
02:49All right.
02:50I'll pull this one down.
02:52There.
02:53Okay.
02:54I kind of like this a little bit more.
02:56Now it looks a little bit more even.
02:58All right.
02:59So now I'm going to show you a couple of different ways you can style your doll's hair.
03:06If you want to leave it just like this, nice and simple with your hair down, that's a beautiful
03:13way of doing it.
03:14You can also part your doll's hair and tie little pigtails if you'd like.
03:24That gives a very cute, young look.
03:28One of my favorites is doing what I call the princess hairstyle.
03:34And it's a very feminine, romantic look.
03:41And you just pull down some strands of the front like so.
03:52Now she kind of looks like the girl from the ring, huh?
03:55All right.
03:56That's not where it ends though.
03:58So you're going to take those strands that you pulled down.
04:03Make sure it's separated in the midline.
04:05And you're going to twirl the two strands like so.
04:12After that, wrap it.
04:16Oops.
04:17Let me fix the bottom.
04:20Okay.
04:20Make sure the rest of the hair is looking neat as well.
04:24So you're going to take that strand and bring it to the back.
04:30Bring it to the back.
04:32And you can tie it together in the back here.
04:37Let me do that real quick.
04:38I'll just do a simple knot to hold it together momentarily.
04:47Okay.
04:50And you can move the hair strands.
04:53Fix it up a little bit if you want it to be at an angle.
04:58Okay.
04:59All right.
05:00So there.
05:01There's the princess hairstyle, which I really love for my more princess looking dolls.
05:12So this girl in particular, she's wearing a lovely little dress.
05:17You can see.
05:19I have an extra long strand here.
05:21Let me just cut that off so it doesn't look like a nice sword.
05:25All right.
05:28She's got her little princess dress on with her little shoes.
05:34And I actually have a crown for this gal.
05:38Here's her little crown and it would sit on the top of her head.
05:44Or you could put it front and center, I guess.
05:47All right.
05:49So that's, um, again, that's one more hairstyle you could do.
05:54Um, let me take that one apart.
06:03And something else I like, um, is to give my doll a fringe or bangs.
06:10So, um, instead of, well, one way to do it is to actually take, um, a yarn needle and more
06:18of the hair colored yarn and sew bangs directly onto the head.
06:23Now, if you do that, it means the bangs are not removable, of course, and they're going to
06:28stay on the head, but if you'd like to be able to change up the style, um, you can use
06:34the hair that you've already put onto your doll's hair cap, like what I'm going to show
06:40you here.
06:42Just let me pull this back.
06:44So I gathered a clump from, um, one side of the doll's head and I'm going to bring it
06:52across to the other side, like so.
06:56And what you can do is you can secure it on the bottom with a clip, or if you want,
07:02you
07:02can clip it to, um, the side of the doll's face too.
07:07And then let the other parts of the hair just droop down naturally.
07:12So that does give a very lovely look as well.
07:17You can even kind of just leave the hair there and these two strands look kind of funky to
07:25me, so I'm going to bring them across too.
07:27There.
07:30And doll hair is definitely really fun to play with.
07:34Um, you can add embellishments such as flowers, bows, and, um, even buttons and little accessories
07:43to put in.
07:46It would look really lovely and have, um, and just have a lot of fun with it.
07:52Alright.
07:53So you can add that crown on like that too.
