Joe Rogan, true crime commentators, and medical experts weigh in on the heartbreaking Lindsay Clancy trial and the massive debate surrounding psychiatric prescriptions, accountability, and societal double standards.
When Lindsay Clancy was charged in the tragedy involving her three children, news revealed she had been prescribed over 12 to 13 different psychiatric medications (including Zoloft, Prozac, Klonopin, Ativan, and Seroquel) in a brief period. This triggered an intense national debate: Is Big Pharma and over-prescription to blame, or is medication being used as a legal scapegoat?
Furthermore, Joe Rogan calls out what many are calling a blatant societal double standard: How would the public react if a father committed the exact same act under the influence of prescription drugs?
In This Video:
Joe Rogan's Reaction: Calling out the double standard and public defense of Clancy.
Courtroom & Police Evidence: Key testimony from Patrick Clancy, officer statements, and court exhibits.
The Big Pharma Debate: Did an extreme prescription cocktail induce psychosis, or is this an avoidance of accountability?
Surviving Severe Treatment: Personal testimonies from survivors and medical commentators on the pharmaceutical system.
What are your thoughts on the trial, the 13 prescriptions, and the double standard debate? Let’s talk in the comments below! Don't forget to LIKE, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE!

00:00Doesn't even hurt, you know, which was was was weird is that
00:04What's weird is how okay it is to make fun of you know CTE. Yeah
00:09I know come then it's become the new R word. You know where it's like
00:13It's like you can just say you like CTE is the punchline
00:17Well, you know why it's because it's brutish men and nobody like that
00:22Yeah, nobody feels bad for brutish men people always feel bad for women. That's why this lady killed her kids
00:27And everyone's like, oh my god, she needed help. Imagine if a single father killed his kids
00:32Do you think they've been any dads out there? We get it. We understand
00:36I also get sad
00:37I said I should put the joke out, but I said it on stage yesterday, but I
00:43But when I so I don't follow this news. So when I first heard it, so basically she she strangled
00:48her three kids
00:49Yeah, right and then
00:53She tried to kill herself. She cut her throat and her wrist and then she jumped out the window didn't
00:58do a good job
00:58Right, she she fell she ended up paralyzed and I said and this is I just said I
01:06Feel like she doesn't have good problem-solving skills because you was three for three on the strangulation
01:10And then when you try to kill yourself, you use an unproven methods
01:15You why would you why why not strangle yourself? You you are definitely good at that. Yeah, hang yourself
01:20Yeah, she so I don't know if she really wanted to I don't know. She looks fucking crazy
01:24I mean, you can't tell looking in someone's eyes
01:27Really they're under stress they're in court. They're gonna be going to jail for the rest of their life most
01:31likely
01:32So there's a lot of stress, but boy does she look crazy
01:34But but when you dealing with somebody out of it, you could tell but she chased her son down
01:39She chased him down to strangle him. He ran away from her. Did she say that? It's in the it's
01:44in the case
01:44Oh, man
01:46You know
01:47I think if those ladies could see the crime scene and see those dead kids with their fucking vacant eyes
01:52staring up because their mother took their life
01:54The last fucking thing that they saw was their mother standing over them choking them to death. I don't think
02:00they would feel so bad
02:01I think everybody that's saying for I mean, yeah
02:04And i'm glad joe rogan touched on this because I think that's one of the things that isn't touched on
02:09a lot
02:09And that is the gender double standard here
02:11If a man had done this exact same thing you wouldn't be seeing all of this going on
02:17Right
02:18You you people would say a he was wrong. He needs to go to jail for it simple and plain
02:23end of discussion
02:24But because it's a woman
02:26You got all of these chicks coming out and supporting lindsey clancy simply because she's a woman
02:32I think that's just crazy, but then it also
02:34Uh leads into another discussion on top of the gender
02:38Uh double standard it leads into a discussion of male rights
02:42Right, uh, especially when it comes to parenting right in a lot of custody battles. I feel like women
02:49um, just get the upper hand just because and so now I think we we we really need to have
02:56a deeper discussion on
02:58Parenting right and in males rights when it comes to being able to parent and and getting the upper hand
03:04when it comes to
03:04You know custody battles and whatnot because if this is what we're doing now if we're making an excuse
03:10because you were
03:13Psychotic or whatever you are allowed to kill people
03:17You're legitimately a danger a serious danger to kids who can't defend themselves
03:22You know what I mean? So I I think that lends itself to a deeper discussion
03:26But I want to hop into the true crime aspect of this and I think abc did a great job
03:31of really breaking the story down and explaining it
03:33So here it is
03:34Patrick clancy comes home thinking he's going to have dinner with his family when patrick gets home
03:41He's home to a place probably unfamiliar to him. He doesn't hear the the pitter-patter of feet the
03:47The crying and laughter of children and what he walks into instead is absolute silence
03:53I called out
03:56And who did you call out to?
03:58Everyone
03:59Did anyone answer?
04:01No
04:02So what did you do next?
04:03I started checking upstairs
04:06And where did you check upstairs?
04:09First the bathroom. I thought maybe they were
04:12Taking baths
04:12But there's no one there
04:14And then where did you go?
04:15The kids bedrooms
04:16Was there anyone in the kids bedrooms?
04:18No
04:19And then did you go to your bedroom?
04:21Yeah
04:21And were you able to get into your bedroom right away?
04:24No, the door was locked and that's when I knew something was wrong
04:27And I started unlocking the knob
04:30When you unlocked the door to your bedroom, did you go in?
04:34Yeah
04:34And what did you see when you opened the door and went in?
04:38I just saw blood everywhere and the window was open
04:42It was everywhere
04:43It was
04:45It looked like it was sprayed almost with like a hose
04:48And there was a huge puddle in the middle of the room
04:51And it was sprayed all over pretty much every surface
04:54I remember it was on the doorknob
04:57He runs outside, sees Lindsay on the ground, blood covering her
05:03She had slashed both of her wrists and made slashes to her neck
05:07Before jumping out of a second story window
05:09He runs over to her and calls 911 at 6-11
05:13And the 911 operator is saying, can you put pressure on her wounds?
05:18And he says, well, they've stopped bleeding
05:19And Patrick is saying she's going in and out of consciousness
05:22And he's also trying to speak to Lindsay
05:25Lindsay, what are you doing?
05:26Lindsay, what did you do?
05:28Lindsay, stay with me
05:29Lindsay, it's okay
05:30Lindsay, what did you do to your neck?
05:34She had deep cuts on her wrists
05:36And she had a red line across her neck
05:40Did you say anything to Lindsay when you found her in that state?
05:44Yeah, I said, what happened?
05:46And what was her response?
05:48She said, I tried to kill myself
05:50And he won't leave her side until first responders arrive
05:55Which is about four to five minutes after he makes the call
05:58Was she able to speak to you?
06:01Uh, she wasn't, no
06:02Was she making any sounds?
06:04She was just, like, sounded like, you know, she was in pain
06:08So something like moaning or something like that?
06:11Yes
06:11Did you ask her anything else?
06:14I said, where are the kids?
06:16And what was her response?
06:18She said, they're in the basement
06:20It turned very chaotic, very quickly
06:23He walks inside
06:25He walks downstairs
06:27And just starts screaming
06:31Oh my God, oh my God
06:33I was in the courtroom when they played the 911 call
06:37And it's something I'll never forget
06:38I've heard screams from a human
06:41I've never heard before
06:43He is screaming
06:44And screaming and screaming
06:46He screamed, she killed the kids
06:49What did you see?
06:51I saw Cora
06:52And how did she look?
06:54She had a band around her neck
06:57And was that an exercise band?
06:59Yeah
06:59I immediately ran over and tried to take the band off
07:02Was she responsive?
07:04No
07:04And what did you see or do next?
07:07I saw Callan
07:09And where was he?
07:10He was next to her
07:11And how did he appear?
07:14He had a band around his neck
07:15And did you remove that as well?
07:17Yeah
07:18What did you do next?
07:19I tried to find Dawson
07:20And where did you go?
07:22I looked in the bathroom
07:24On the other side of the couch
07:26And then I went to the other side of the basement
07:28And he was in my office
07:29And when you saw Dawson
07:31What condition was he in?
07:35I knew he was gone
07:38So yeah
07:39There's a little bit of an explanation
07:41Of you know
07:42Kind of what went down
07:43And what happened
07:44And you know
07:45It's such a tragic thing
07:48You know
07:48For little kids to
07:51Be with someone that they trust
07:53That they thought was their protector
07:57To that
07:58For that to be your last image
08:01Right
08:02The person that was supposed to be protecting you
08:04Is now hurting you
08:10I just feel so bad for those kids man
08:12You know
08:16Absolutely terrible
08:17Absolutely terrible
08:18And as y'all saw there
08:20One of the boys ran away
08:24So apparently
08:25He was watching
08:26His siblings
08:28Be choked to death
08:31Kind of realized
08:32Maybe a little bit about
08:34What was going on
08:34Got scared and ran
08:36And she chased him down
08:38To kill him
08:39Like to me
08:40That's not psychosis
08:42You knew what you were doing
08:43And the fact that you left the bands on there
08:46Because
08:47Suffocating someone
08:48Is
08:48Is
08:49Is a very intentional thing
08:50It takes some time
08:51To truly suffocate someone
08:53Because the moment that you let go
08:55Their body is going to start breathing again
08:57So for you to know
08:59I need to keep this band
09:01On their neck
09:02Otherwise
09:02They'll be able to be resuscitated
09:05That's intentional
09:06In my humble opinion
09:07It's intentional
09:09Because
09:09Had she not left that band on there
09:11Those kids might still be alive
09:14Because their body
09:15Would have gone back into breathing
09:18Right
09:21Now I want to touch on something else
09:22That a lot of people aren't talking about
09:24And that is
09:25The pharmaceutical side of this
09:28Big Pharma
09:29My name is Dawn Geronowitz
09:31I am here as a psychopharmaceutical drug survivor
09:34In 2001
09:35After I was given an SSRI
09:36That caused me to go psychotic
09:38And be involuntarily detained
09:39Drugged more
09:40And involuntarily detained multiple times
09:43So I have come to highlight
09:44And raise awareness
09:45On the psychopharmaceutical drugs
09:47That are causing these tragedies
09:49Such as Lindsay Clancy
09:50School shootings
09:51And mass tragedies
09:52For nearly three decades
09:53And why do you support Lindsay Clancy
09:57Because I know
09:58I lived
09:59I have been in her shoes before
10:01And I was involuntarily taken
10:03And so I know what those drugs do to the body
10:06I know what they do to the mind
10:07I know their capabilities
10:08And I know exactly what she was experiencing
10:10And how her abilities of control
10:13And not control
10:14In that psychotic state
10:15And I want to raise that awareness
10:16So we can stop this death and bloodshed
10:19Who's to blame for killing Lindsay Clancy's kids
10:22Lindsay was on a lot of medication
10:24And the question before us then is
10:26Who is actually responsible
10:28For the killing of the kids
10:29Is it Lindsay Clancy
10:30Or is it Big Pharma
10:32Or the medical community
10:33The doctors
10:34The hospitals that failed her
10:35That is the question
10:36But where is Big Pharma's culpability
10:38In all of this
10:39You know they certainly do
10:40Push a lot of meds on us
10:41But I do think it's a societal issue
10:43More than it is a pharma issue
10:44Because we let pharma get away with it
10:46Many of us don't take any medications
10:48We don't want to have to take a pill
10:50For everything
10:50Many of us didn't run off
10:51To go get the vaccine for example
10:53However there's a lot of people out there
10:54That just run to the doctor
10:55And they pop themselves full of pills
10:57And they put their kids full of pills
10:58We have been trained to just
11:00You know go get the pills
11:01Or whatever the problem is
11:02You know and especially liberals
11:03Who used to be like the granolas in society
11:05They were the ones that said
11:06No let's explore Chinese
11:07Eastern medicines
11:09Let's eat healthy
11:10Let's exercise
11:11Let's do meditation
11:12And now suddenly they've abandoned all that
11:14And now they just want to medicate
11:15And chop their kids genitals off
11:17I think that with Big Pharma
11:19If there wasn't a market they wouldn't do it
11:21Because there's a market for it
11:22Because you're pushed by your doctor
11:24Because the doctors swear to look out for our health
11:27The doctors are the ones who say
11:29They are for us
11:30Yet the doctors increasingly work for Big Pharma
11:34They take the kickbacks from Big Pharma
11:36They say oh there's a pill for that
11:37Even if they're not getting kickbacks
11:38What happens is the patient comes in and says
11:40Doctor I don't want to have to lose weight
11:42And eat right
11:42Give me a pill
11:43And the doctor feels pressured
11:45And the doctor's like
11:45Alright fine here's a pill
11:46But the doctors should be the gatekeepers
11:48And the doctors are not
11:49Right the doctors should say
11:51Hey we can't give you all these opioids
11:53Because you're going to get addicted
11:54But the doctor should say
11:55Hey you can't be taking all these different medications
11:57You can't be doctor shopping
11:58You can't be pharma shopping
12:00And a lot of patients do that
12:01A lot of patients if one doctor won't give it to them
12:03They go to another doctor
12:03And then they go get the pills
12:04So I think the culpability
12:06And you're going to kill me for this
12:08But I don't think it's on Big Pharma
12:09I actually think it's on the individual first
12:12And on the doctor
12:13More than anything we have a cultural issue
12:15In our society
12:16When it comes to Big Pharma
12:17When it comes to medicating ourselves
12:19When it comes to solving our problems with medications
12:21We have a cultural problem
12:22That I think at its core
12:23Has to be addressed and fixed
12:25On the individual level
12:26And there's got to be individual responsibility there
12:31Yeah I mean
12:32I think we can get into that discussion as well
12:34Right
12:35Is Big Pharma at fault?
12:36How do you feel about it?
12:38Let me know in the comments
12:38Is Big Pharma at fault?
12:40Talk to me
12:42I agree with her though
12:43I say no
12:45They are allowed to do
12:47What we allow them to do
12:50If we stop taking their drugs
12:53Guess what?
12:54They'll stop promoting it
12:56They'll stop pushing it
12:57If we said
12:58Hey enough is enough
12:59Stop giving us this crap
13:01Guess what they'll have to start doing?
13:03Stop giving us crap
13:06They do it because we allow them to do it
13:09We're the consumer at the end of the day
13:13Right
13:13And I think we've allowed a culture of
13:17Like just easily popping pills
13:19And it's just like
13:20Nah
13:21I don't even like taking ibuprofen
13:23Like when I have a headache
13:24I try to thug it out
13:26You know what I mean?
13:27Drink some water
13:28Maybe take a nap
13:29Or something
13:30You know
13:31I don't even like doing that
13:32But you have people out here
13:34And yeah
13:35Some people may need it
13:36For medical reasons
13:37And whatnot
13:38I get that
13:38But I do think
13:40We need to have a deeper discussion
13:42About how many pills
13:44Are just being dished out
13:45All over the place
13:46All willy-nilly
13:47All the time
13:49So yeah
13:49Get in the comments
13:50Let me know your thoughts about that
13:51As well as
13:52Let me know your thoughts about
13:53The gender double standard
13:55Do you think there is
13:57A double standard
13:58When it comes to the genders?
13:59Let me know
14:00And then when we
14:01Want to
14:02You know
14:03Dive into
14:03The discussion of
14:06You know
14:07Male parenting rights
14:08Let me know your thoughts
14:10About that as well
14:10Should
14:11The custody battles
14:13Now flip to
14:14In favor of men
14:15Rather than
14:16Always
14:17You know
14:18Defaulting to
14:19The women
14:19Should it default to
14:20Men now
14:21Because
14:22If this is the direction
14:23That we're going
14:24Where
14:24Hey a woman could have
14:26Some psychotic break
14:27And kill your kids
14:29Should we be allowing
14:30Women to
14:31Have sole custody
14:33Of the kids
14:33Or have main custody
14:34Of the kids
14:35Should
14:36Should these moments
14:37Be supervised
14:37Like
14:38Because obviously
14:39We want to protect the kids
14:41I mean at the end of the day
14:42We can have a long discussion
14:44About all of this other stuff
14:45But
14:45The bottom line is
14:47Protect the kids
14:48They're innocent
14:49They obviously can't
14:50Defend themselves
14:51On their own
14:52And
14:55I agree with what
14:57Kevin Gates said
14:59Right
14:59When Kevin Gates said
15:01If you
15:02If you mess with kids
15:03You're supposed to die
15:04If somebody molests
15:05My daughter
15:06You're going to die
15:07I'm going to die trying
15:08But I'm very resourceful
15:10Unfortunately
15:11But if you touch
15:12One of my children
15:12You're going to die
15:13Damn Kevin
15:13You said like
15:14You proud of that
15:15I am
15:17The
15:18See
15:18Kevin
15:19You touch your kids
15:19You're supposed to die
15:21Straight up
15:22Kevin
15:22But that's not your purpose
15:23That's not your
15:24Who
15:25I thought we were going to let him
15:26Handle that
15:26Who
15:27Boy God ain't put me here to be
15:29God give me the strength
15:30To make sure
15:31Man I want to give
15:32I'm going to stand over
15:32And give him everything I got
15:34God please let him be stretched
15:36Because sometimes
15:36You give him everything you got
15:37And they
15:37You know
15:38God don't take his hand off him
15:39But if God take his hand off him
15:41That's his feet going up in that aisle
15:43As we said here today
15:44It's supposed to be like that
15:47So yeah
15:48I mean
15:48I'm not advocating for violence
15:50But I do think
15:51You should get the death penalty
15:54Under the law
15:55100%
15:56You harm kids
15:57They are innocent
16:00Kids should be left out of
16:01Any and all
16:03Situations
16:05But if you harm them
16:07In any way shape or fashion
16:09You should get the death penalty
16:11That's just what I believe
16:13Right
16:13I don't think we should be going around
16:15Like we live in the 1700s
16:17And you know
16:18Doing stuff to people ourselves
16:20Of course
16:20We should keep our hands and feet
16:21To ourselves
16:23But
16:23Under the law
16:24You should get the death penalty
16:26That should be the mandatory minimum
16:29No ifs ands or buts about it
16:31But as always
16:32Get in the comments
16:33Let me know your thoughts
16:34And your opinions
16:36Stay safe out there
16:37Peace and love
16:38I'm out
