00:08:49Believe it or not, I get a lot of questions on what shampoo and conditioner I use.

00:11:37in here between body mist, deodorant, all my makeup, chapstick, even have lotion. So I'm

00:11:44going to do my makeup real quick. Lately, when it comes to my makeup, I've actually been doing

00:15:02to be of today. Before I go, there is something I wanted to talk about right quick. There has

00:15:07been a lot of people talking about like how YouTubers aren't making as much money as they

00:15:11once were, which is definitely true. I've had quite a few people Snapchat me asking if I'm

00:15:17leaving YouTube, if I'm going to try getting another job, if I'm going to give up on YouTube.

00:15:21And I'm just like, no girl, YouTube is my life. I want to stick around and do YouTube till

00:15:27YouTube no longer wants me until you guys no longer want me. I adore YouTube. I know my content

00:15:32is not a hundred percent. It is what it is though. Like my videos are about me. I just

00:15:35hope no YouTuber leaves YouTube because of the revenue decreasing. I'm here not for the

00:15:42money. It's awesome that I get paid for a passion of mine, but I am not here for the money.

00:15:58Bye. Hey guys, I wanted to film a cook with me video. It is highly requested. Plus it's super

00:16:05fun. I really do enjoy coming up with different dishes. A lot of the things that I make are kind

00:16:10of similar in ingredients because that's the taste that I like and the taste that I go for. It's not

00:16:16things that you see on the daily basis. It's just different stuff. So today we're going to be making

00:16:21a wannabe chili. And reason why I say that is because it's not chili, but like wants to be chili,

00:16:26but it's not. This is why I'm not a chef. I have made this before. I made it about a

00:16:30week ago and

00:16:31I loved it. So I had to make it for you guys because I think you guys would like it

00:16:34too.

00:16:35Ingredient wise, it's not really that much. Some brown rice, some chicken broth, reduced sodium,

00:16:42sriracha. You guys know me. I put some sriracha on the shrimp. I'm just going to add a little bit

00:16:47of sriracha. Add some sriracha. I love sriracha. I love spicy. I got hunt sauce, basil, garlic,

00:16:56and oregano. Reduced sodium, black beans. A thing of ground turkey. Really this is the only size that

00:17:02you need, but if you want more, get a bigger size. If you don't like meat, then obviously you don't

00:17:07have to use that. Some minced garlic. Corn. I know so many people say in Berlin there's no benefit of

00:17:11corn. I personally just enjoy corn. We're going to do some garlic powder. Some minced onions. You could do

00:17:16real onions. I find these handy when I do not have any onions. Some pepper. Some Italian seasoning.

00:17:22Basil and parsley. That is literally it for this recipe. First things first, obviously you're going

00:17:27to want to cook your ground turkey. With the ground turkey, I do not put any oil or anything because

00:17:32it

00:17:32has its natural oils. As you can tell, there will be no seasoning because I will season everything when

00:17:38it's all in the pot together. While you have your ground turkey doing a sting, you're going to want to

00:17:44start cooking the actual soup part. So we're going to add all the chicken broth so everything can

00:17:50kind of marinate into each other. We're going to add all the seasonings. So minced garlic, garlic powder,

00:17:57pepper. So however much pepper you want.

00:18:02Minced onion. Now I'm going to add the basil and parsley in Italian. I do add more Italian than the

00:18:10basil and parsley. I have added the rice. So now we're going to add the sauce. So for the black

00:18:17beans, I like to rinse mine. So I put them in a strainer and then I turn on the cold

00:18:23water and I

00:18:24rinse them for about 30 seconds. I just keep tossing them like this. Beans are in. As for the corn,

00:18:32I strain the water a bit. I don't add this whole can. This is a mini can, but I still

00:18:36don't add the whole

00:18:36thing. So just add however much you want. So it's about half a can. And then of course, the sriracha.

00:18:47By this time, your turkey should be done. I like to cook mine until it's very brown. As you can

00:18:52tell,

00:18:52like that piece right there, that's just how I like it. We're going to turn this up again. It already

00:18:57boiled once, but you want it to boil again. After it's done boiling, that's when you're going to add

00:19:01the turkey in there. And then you're going to let it simmer for however long that you want it to

00:19:05be

00:19:05cooked for. It is starting to boil. I'm going to add the ground turkey now. Stir. It smells amazing

00:19:15and it looks amazing. It's super simple, but it tastes really, really good. Now that it's boiling

00:19:21again, I'm going to turn this off a high and I'm going to put it on a little bit above

00:19:25medium. Then

00:19:25it's going to start simmering. I'll probably have it cooked for probably 20 minutes so everything can

00:19:30get cooked real good. Marinate with each other. I always say marinate because that's literally the

00:19:34word that I come up with when I think about all of them. Just, you know, getting along together in

00:19:39a pot. It's been about 10 minutes and this is how it's looking so far. With this recipe, sometimes I

00:19:45like it to be more brothy and sometimes I like the broth to kind of disappear. With this way, because

00:19:50I added more rice than I usually do, there is going to be less broth when it is complete because

00:19:55I

00:19:55want it to cook for probably five to 10 more minutes. It'll be more so like a rice dish. But

00:20:01again,

00:20:01if you want yours to be more on the broth side or more on the chili side or the soup

00:20:06side,

00:20:06then you can eat it right now. It would be really good. I think I want mine to have less

00:20:10broth today.

00:20:10All right, you guys. It is complete. I don't know about you, but it looks so good.

00:20:19And now I'm going to go try it. Like I said in the beginning of this video, I have made

00:20:23this before,

00:20:23but if you cook, you know nothing you make twice ever tastes the same. We're going to do a little

00:20:28taste

00:20:29test. This is one of the best things I've ever made. I recommend this. I know a lot of people

00:22:57the week and I have to wear what they tell me to wear and that is this. I can't wear

00:23:03my hair down.

00:23:04It's just way too long. I can't be wearing jewelry. I can't be wearing regular clothes. Like this is

00:23:09as regular as it gets. I'm sorry I look like a hobo, but this is not me. This is not

00:23:15at all. Valentine's Day is on Sunday and I work Sunday and I'm gonna make an exception, probably

00:23:20break a few rules, and I'm going to actually dress up for that day because normally for holidays,

00:23:26they let us go into work looking like a normal person. I work a full-time job and I have

00:23:32play the part. I'm sorry I look like a hobo. In the video yesterday, I was not wearing makeup because

00:23:43about myself without makeup on. Makeup is not the key to everything. I do love makeup and just

00:23:48recently in the last couple of months, you guys have seen that I've been like venturing out more.

00:23:52I will say right now, if you guys are looking at my eyebrows, I was going to film a video

00:23:57doing my eyebrows, but I felt like I kind of have before. If you guys go back and look at

00:24:16I have my eyebrows done right now. It was very low-key. I did use the elf eyebrow whatever kit

00:24:22just to make them a little darker because people have been wanting me to do that. Now, the next

00:24:26thing you guys are gonna be like, no, but this is what I do. I use this Tarte blush type

00:24:32deal stuff,

00:24:32which looks like this. I put a little bit on my finger

00:24:36and I do this. You guys are like, no! Stop, Amberlynn! No! Don't worry, I blend that shit like

00:24:42there's no tomorrow, but

00:24:46I still keep a little bit like that. I personally feel like this is one of my most favorite things

00:24:51that I've started doing. I kind of just thought of it one day. I know other people do this,

00:24:55obviously. It just adds a little bit more to your face. I've been doing it for a while,

00:24:59not really. A couple weeks. And then this part, you guys are gonna really be like, Amberlynn,

00:25:04stop while you're ahead. I have gotten this idea from friends of mine, people on YouTube and

00:25:10Instagram. Highlighter is a thing lately. Some highlighters work really well, some don't, but

00:25:15there's also eyeshadows that could work just as good. Ever since I started doing this, so many people

00:25:19are like, Amberlynn, what highlighter do you use? I don't use highlighter. I use this. It's

00:25:23e.l.f. long-lasting, lustrous eyeshadow. This is what it looks like. What I do is, I put a

00:25:30little

00:25:30bit on my finger, obvi. I put some like this, all right here. This stuff goes a long way,

00:25:39so you do not need a lot. Like, I'm talking just a really small bit. So I'm gonna do it

00:25:45again,

00:25:47right here. And I will also put some up here. I get compliments on this all the time. When I'm

00:25:55on YouNow, I get compliments on this when I'm out in public. And I feel very awkward because people

00:26:01say, what highlighter are you using? Like, that is so gorgeous. It's not a highlighter.

00:26:09There's nothing wrong with makeup. That's not the point of this video because makeup is awesome. It's

00:26:13art. It's beautiful. I just want people to know that they're beautiful without makeup too. There

00:26:16is eight questions, which is gonna be super fast and easy. I shared this before in a vlog. When I

00:26:21was in high school, I would wear makeup every day to school. One day, I did not wear makeup and

00:26:25I came

00:26:25in and my friend was like, Amberlynn, you look really sick. Like, you're dead. And I'm like 17 years

00:26:31old and totally like scarred from that. You live in a society where people get upset because you don't

00:26:37have the right eyebrows or you don't have the right lip color on or, you know, things like that,

00:26:41or your wings aren't perfect on your eyes. Like, it's just, it's too much. It's too much, girl. The

00:26:46first question is, scouts honor that you aren't wearing any makeup. Scouts honor. I literally have

00:26:50nothing on. Number two, what is one makeup product you cannot live without? I'm gonna say mascara,

00:26:55which is probably shocking to a lot of people because I love me some eyeliner, but I'm trying

00:26:59to like use less eyeliner lately. But I'm gonna go with mascara because I feel like it opens your eyes

00:27:04more. When I do my mascara, I do do the bottom. I know some people don't wear mascara on their

00:27:08bottom

00:27:09eyelashes, which is really weird to me, but do you, boo? I feel like adding mascara to your bottom

00:27:14eyelashes make your eyes pop more. Definitely mascara. What is one makeup product you can

00:27:18live without? I'm gonna say eyeshadow because I don't really use eyeshadow to begin with. I'm more

00:27:23so I'm like an eyeliner girl. So yeah, I'm definitely gonna go with eyeshadow. Four, do you feel confident

00:27:28without makeup on? No, I don't. And that's the point of this video because I feel like I need to

00:27:33put

00:27:33myself out there more without makeup on. Covering myself up with makeup every day just to feel better

00:27:38about myself is not 100% positive. Five, which part of your face do you like the most? I'm gonna

00:45:17But this one time, it didn't happen, which is ironic.

00:45:59I thought maybe my luggage was too heavy and they didn't realize it until now.

00:46:05Like, was I allowed to have the carry-on that I had, which was like just one purse?

00:46:09My brother followed me because he was like, what is happening?

00:46:12Okay, so I was 18.

00:46:13So at the time, my brother was 17.

00:46:14When you're waiting for your plane, it's like you have this little section.

00:46:17Some are bigger.

00:46:18Like I said, mine was pretty small.

00:46:19And there's like a little desk pretty much in between each section.

00:46:23She brought me up to that section where the desk was.

00:46:26There was another lady there.

00:46:27I forgot how she worded it.

00:46:28This was years ago.

00:46:29Like I'm 26 now.

00:46:30This happened when I was 18.

00:46:31She was like, it seems that you've reached like a certain limit.

00:46:34I don't know what she was saying.

00:46:35And she was like, you're gonna have to buy an extra ticket.

00:46:37And I was like, what?

00:46:38What do you mean an extra ticket?

00:46:40I'm gonna be honest.

00:46:40I was in foster care at the time.

00:46:42I didn't buy my ticket.

00:46:43My foster parents didn't buy my ticket.

00:46:44It was actually my social worker.

00:46:46Pain for me and my brother to do it since we're in foster care.

00:46:49Usually things like that did get paid through the state.

00:46:52I was like, I ain't got no money to pay for another freaking seat.

00:46:56Let me tell you that one.

00:46:57I said, is it a full plane?

00:46:58And she literally told me no.

00:47:00And I was like, then why do I have to buy an extra seat?

00:47:02Like this doesn't make sense.

00:47:03Is it because of my luggage?

00:47:05And she was like, no, because you look like you're gonna take up.

00:47:08Like she said it nicely, but I don't remember how she said it.

00:47:10I wish, I wish I would remember word for word.

00:47:14But she said pretty much like, I'm gonna take up more than one seat.

00:47:17And I was like, I've been on other planes before.

00:47:19They've never had me do this.

00:47:20This isn't fair.

00:47:21And I started freaking out.

00:47:23I started crying and I told her like my whole life story in like one sentence.

00:47:26I was like, I'm going to see my family for the first time.

00:47:28And my brother's like, calm down, like legit calm down.

00:47:32But I could not calm down.

00:47:33Like I was embarrassed and I was ashamed.

00:47:35And I literally thought I was not going to get to see my family.

00:47:37I ended up calling my foster mom because that was literally my only option.

00:47:40And I was bawling my eyes out.

00:47:41And I was like, they're making me buy another seat.

00:47:43I don't understand why the planes aren't even full.

00:47:45So my foster mom's on the other end and she was like, let me talk to them.

00:47:49So she ended up talking to them after a good five minutes.

00:47:52Literally the plane was gonna take off.

00:47:54And if my foster mom didn't buy the ticket right then and there,

00:47:56then I would have been out of luck.

00:47:58And it was like $300 non-refundable.

00:48:00What?

00:48:01Like I thought that was so weird.

00:48:03Like if it was a more of a fuller plane, like I totally get it.

00:48:06But anyways, my foster mom ended up buying the seat.

00:48:08I prefer going in the back of the plane.

00:48:10Getting back there is kind of hard.

00:48:11I have to like walk sideways, but whatever.

00:48:12I have to ask for a seatbelt extender, which is already super embarrassing.

00:48:16And I do it very low key and very quiet.

00:48:18Flight attendant was so sweet.

00:48:20She knew the situation.

00:48:21I didn't even have to tell her.

00:48:22It was the type of plane where it wasn't three people that sat together.

00:48:25It was just two.

00:48:26The lady put this sign that said seat out of order, seat broken right next to me,

00:48:31which by the way, I barely even sat on.

00:48:34Like low key, high key, whatever.

00:48:37I'm so annoyed thinking about it even though it happened when I was 18.

00:48:40I wasn't even using that seat at all.

00:48:41The plane I was on, no one had assigned seating.

00:48:44So anyone could sit wherever.

00:48:45My brother sat in front of me.

00:48:46She put that paper down.

00:48:47So if someone did come up and say, hey, is the seat taken?

00:48:49Like I didn't have to be like, actually, it's for me.

00:48:52I was so grateful for that because I was super just like, oh, like I had been crying.

00:48:57I had swollen eyes.

00:48:58I was so embarrassed.

00:49:02Thinking about it today, this happens to a lot of people.

00:49:04I think what frustrates me the most is that during takeoff, I happened to look around.

00:49:09You wouldn't believe how many free seats there were.

00:49:12The plane wasn't even halfway full, not even close.

00:49:15And I had to buy an extra seat.

00:49:17I honestly thoroughly don't understand why.

00:49:19I guess I wouldn't understand why if I actually really did take up two seats, but I did not take

00:49:25up two seats.

00:49:26I actually snapped a picture once we were in the sky and I had my phone and it was on.

00:49:30It didn't work, but I could still take pictures.

00:49:31I remember I snapped a picture showing how much room I still had left.

00:49:34It was such a bad and embarrassing situation because I reacted so horribly.

00:49:38I wasn't expecting that to happen to me.

00:49:40I weighed 420 pounds then.

00:49:43Recently, I weighed myself and I was 470.4.

00:49:46So since then, I have gained weight, but since the new year, I have lost weight.

00:49:51I'm very happy about that.

00:49:52I'm not gaining weight.

00:49:53I am losing weight.

00:49:54It's happening very slowly, but I need to get the ball going.

00:49:56This used to happen to me a lot where I would lose like four pounds and then gain it back.

00:50:01But now, currently, it's to the point where I lose about 15, 20 pounds and then I gain it back.

00:50:07And that's really bad for me.

00:50:09I haven't really been 100% honest about that because whenever someone asks me, you know,

00:50:14oh, she's gaining weight or whatever, I always just say I'm losing.

00:50:18I don't need the backlash at all.

00:50:20I just, I don't want it.

00:50:22I just feel like it's so much safer to just say what people want to hear and what I feel

00:50:26like people will not hate me for.
