00:08What do you want, Ms. Hagan?
00:11Clayface is expanding what the DC Universe can be,
00:14and it goes to a very dark, unexpected place.
00:20What would you do if everything that you'd built
00:24was taken away from you?
00:26I want my life back.
00:30We are making a true horror film.
00:33This isn't cosmetic surgery.
00:35You are on that razor's edge,
00:37digging into the darkness of this character,
00:39but also you had a kind of empathy for him.
00:42What's happening to me?
00:46Clayface is about how we can be manipulated
00:49into different shapes, physically and emotionally.
00:52You have to learn to control it.
00:56It's a horror thriller,
00:57but it's also a revenge story.
01:01You're seeing the descent into who this man becomes.
01:05This is a character who is loved by the fans,
01:08and we have an opportunity to do something really different.
01:13What excites me is DC giving creatives license
01:18to take stories and run with them.
