00:00Okay, I have, uh, I've mocked it. I made fun of it. I said it was not going to happen.
00:07And it's cringy. Makes me feel sick every time I use the saying. But I do have to ask if
00:15Dak
00:15Prescott's gaudy is actually a reality throughout the first four games of the season. And I'm going
00:22to be RJ Chopper here and get myself out of this a little bit. When I heard we're going to
00:26be the
00:26greatest offense there is, I was thinking kind of like amongst all time. But he could
00:33have just redirected it to this season. The greatest offense there is this year. And when
00:39you look at the numbers, is Dak Prescott being proven correct? Before you look at the numbers,
00:46has it felt like the Cowboys have had the best offense in the league this year? To me, it
00:52hasn't felt like it. That was really, really good. I trust Dak. Dak is balling out. I believe
00:59at the end of these games, he's going to come through for you. But I haven't felt like they've
01:03been like some all time offense. No, I think that just off the top of my head, I think San
01:09Franz would have been better. San Francisco's been the best offense in the league. Buffalo's
01:13has been really good. I would say Dallas has been better than Buffalo. I'm not saying Dallas
01:19has not been better than Buffalo. I'm just saying Buffalo's been really good. I'm just
01:23naming good offense. Detroit's offense is crazy. Jacksonville's been pretty decent too.
01:29Yeah, but I'm saying, you know, who immediately comes to mind is better. I think the only ones
01:34I would put as better this year is San Fran for sure. And then maybe the Lions. The Cowboys
01:39are averaging 30 and a half. That's second best. When you look at average points per drive,
01:45which is something I don't really love. You don't like points
01:49per drive? No. I think I don't. I think that's the most telling one of a
01:57why don't you like it? Because I just look at it as
02:00how many points you score in per game and all you're doing is dividing
02:03it per drive. Like every time you get the ball,
02:07I don't look at it as every time the Cowboys get the ball, they're going to kick a field goal.
02:11So like if I score 30 points and I have 10 drives in the game and I have another offense
02:18that scores 29 points and I have six drives, the 29-point offense is a better offense.
02:24Yeah, if it plays out for that, like the whole...
02:27Yeah, if it plays out for the whole year, right.
02:29Yeah. So anyway, average points per drive, like points per play, like it's a separate segment.
02:36Dallas is at 3.39, which puts them at No. 5 on a list of the best offenses ever since
02:432000.
02:46Yesterday, Clarence Hill took that information to Dak Prescott.
02:49It was an awkward, weird, kind of funny exchange.
02:52And then Jane Slater came in and said,
02:54Do you regret Gotti?
02:56No, I got no regrets.
03:00We're, what, four games in.
03:03I think we can get better.
03:04Am I complacent with what we've done?
03:06Absolutely not.
03:07Do I think what we've done, is it enough?
03:09Absolutely not.
03:11Do I still believe that that's who we are and that's who we're going to be?
03:14Damn right.
03:15Those are good numbers, but they can find numbers for everything.
03:18I'm not a guy that get called in the numbers and the stats and the records or any of that
03:21because of things like that, right?
03:24We're four games in and they're already pulling out numbers of teams based on their whole season.
03:29So, yeah, it's encouraging, I guess, because we're not even where we want to be
03:34and we haven't put together all four quarters the way that we believe we can.
03:39Yeah, but like I said, I believe that's who we are.
03:41So, through four games, ranks fifth since 2000 up there with the 2018 Chiefs, the 2007 Patriots,
03:51the 21 Chiefs, the 24 Commanders, and the 2020, not the 2004 Jared Sandler,
03:59the 2020 Green Bay Packers, Aiden Butler.
04:02How do you view this statistically and realistically?
04:05I mean, if you just want to go by a big part of one of the things that people measure
04:10offenses by
04:11is like the EPA per play and stuff, the expected points added.
04:14That's their fifth in the league right now in that.
04:17The thing that's impressive is the least amount of possessions.
04:21Yeah.
04:22And what they're doing with that.
04:23Was it points or yards compared to the...
04:27They lead in points, but they're like last in possessions or whatever.
04:30It's crazy.
04:31And so they're...
04:33And bad with pressure being put on them.
04:36There's still too much of it where it's like, let's settle for this field goal.
04:41There's still too much of it of they couldn't execute in a tight space.
04:44Like, they're one of the best offenses in the NFL.
04:49Once Tyler Smith gets back and they hit their stride, they've got a shot to...
04:52I think by the end of the season, we could be talking about them as that was the best offense
04:56in the league this year.
04:57I don't think they're a historic...
04:59Right.
05:00The comparison that was given by Dak was when he said greatest offense there is, he said
05:04you've heard of the greatest show on turf and all those other nicknames.
05:07If you're going to compare yourself to the greatest show on turf, they're not that.
05:10They're not the 99 Rams.
05:12Because that is a...
05:13I mean, that's an all-time great offense.
05:16Yeah.
05:16And they could run it.
05:17Like, they're not running it like that the way they did with more than four.
05:19We're right.
05:20Like, you know...
05:20Yeah, they're running...
05:21I'd say they're running effectively for the situations they face, but they're not gashing
05:27teams with the run.
05:28Like, the Rams could run all over you.
05:30Yeah, right now when the Cowboys run the football, to me, it's two things.
05:33One to hammer it in with...
05:34Two things.
05:34One to hammer it in with Javante, and the other is just like for the sake of some balance.
05:38Like, all right, we've got to throw in a run here.
05:40Absolutely.
05:40They're not threatening you right now at the run game.
05:42The other teams...
05:43But hopefully Tyler comes back tonight.
05:45Yeah, the other teams that have scored around the same amount of points as them, and they
05:48scored 122.
05:49It's San Fran, who scored 122 as well.
05:52It's the Panthers, who scored 121.
05:55It's Detroit, who scored 119.
05:57It is the Bills, who scored 127, and the Ravens are at like 116.
06:02So those are all about the same...
06:04And the Chiefs, who scored 118.
06:06So they're all about the same kind of range.
06:09And those are all good offenses.
06:11And the Cowboys' offense is efficient based on the fact that they lead and they have those
06:17points with those few amount of drives.
06:19The Niners' offense is so crazily efficient.
06:23Their efficiency numbers are off the charts.
06:25And the Cowboys are right there at number five in efficiencies.
06:28Like Bobby mentioned with EPA per play.
06:31It's a really, really good offense.
06:33It's been a good offense.
06:35It's not surprising when this offense plays well.
06:37Yeah.
06:38You know, it's surprising when it doesn't.
06:40It's disappointing when it doesn't because you know their potential.
06:43All right.
06:43I got the updated odds from Vegas on the Cowboys.
06:46Before the season started, the over-under on wins was 9.5.
06:50What do you think it is now?
06:53I think it has not changed.
06:55You are correct.
06:56It is 9.5.
06:59Now, I got this email before the trade.
07:05Before Cam Juergens was dealt to Baltimore.
07:08So keep that in mind.
07:09To make the playoffs, the Cowboys are favored, too, or not?
07:15Favored, too.
07:16They are favored, too.
07:18Yes is minus 135.
07:21Preseason, it was minus 120.
07:23So the probability change plus 3%, basically.
07:28They got a 57% chance to make the postseason.
07:31The Philadelphia Eagles have remained the same, gone up, or down?
07:36Down.
07:37They have dropped big time.
07:39Minus 21%.
07:41Preseason, minus 160 to make the playoffs.
07:45Right now, they're plus 120.
07:47They got a 40% chance to make it.
07:50Ons most times.
07:52What's the percent chance the New York Giants have of making the playoffs in Vegas?
07:5739.
07:59No, 35.
08:0118.
08:02So not buying, not believing.
08:04Okay.
08:04Yes is plus 325.
08:09That's Scadaboo's rushing yards per game.
08:1118.
08:13So those are some of the numbers in Vegas.
08:16As we go around the rest of the NFL, MVP favorite?
08:21Brock Purdy.
08:23No, he's second.
08:25Second?
08:26Josh Allen.
08:27Josh Allen.
08:28Josh Allen plus 240.
08:29I think that's probably thinking, all right.
08:32Purdy's going to come back down to earth?
08:33Which one's going to keep up?
08:34Not even, come back down to earth is insulting, I think.
08:37But like, Purdy will take a step back because he is playing out of his mind.
08:41And Josh will kind of remain that.
08:43That's what I think they're thinking.
08:44Yeah, I mean, Purdy, again, this goes into the, just where does Purdy belong in the conversation
08:49and why I feel like he's up there as the most disrespected quarterback in the NFL is because
08:56his numbers, like, he puts up, like, in previous years, even years they've struggled, he puts
09:00up really, really good numbers, like efficiency-wise.
09:02And he's a good player, and it's, to me, I think that's just more, there is a little
09:09bit of a name recognition thing or a name branding thing that exists with Josh Allen that won't
09:15exist with Brock Purdy and will creep into the minds of voters if there's any sort of
09:19a tie.
09:19Yeah, I can't, as, after four weeks, I can't put Allen ahead of Brock.
09:25Now, I agree with what you're saying.
09:27It's like one's going to continue to do it.
09:29Where's Herbert on the list?
09:32First, I don't understand number three.
09:34See if y'all can guess.
09:35Number third on the MVP.
09:37He's fourth.
09:39I would be able to understand that.
09:41Is it Lamar?
09:41Lamar.
09:42Yeah.
09:42He's second in EPA per play in the whole league.
09:45Of course.
09:46There we go.
09:47Six to one odds for Lamar, then Mahomes after him.
09:50Then Trevor at 11 to one, Dak 12 to one, Burrow 20 to one.
09:56Defensive player of the year.
09:59Don't think too hard.
10:00It's Will Anderson.
10:02Three to one for Will.
10:03TJ, RJ.
10:05Let's go.
10:06Five to one.
10:07You'll never guess three.
10:10Kenneth Murray.
10:12No, but I saw John Owning say that Kenneth Murray was the Cowboys' fifth best offensive
10:16player the other night.
10:18Biggest win he's ever contributed to.
10:19Was he that horrific?
10:20Yeah, he's terrible.
10:21He's an awful football player, and he should never be on the field.
10:23How are teams still employing him?
10:24Like, when D'Amico got him, like, uh-oh, here we go.
10:26We're going to get Ibraflused.
10:27We're going to go to San Fran and produce.
10:29This guy plays for the Buffalo Bills.
10:31Kobe Durant?
10:32CJ Gardner-Johnson.
10:33No.
10:35Uh, Kobe Durant.
10:38No idea.
10:39Can you name another Buffalo Bills defender, Bobby?
10:42Uh, Gregory Rousseau.
10:43Yeah.
10:44I never thought he was going to be as good as he's become.
10:47He's third.
10:48Wow.
10:48Defensive player of the year.
10:50Leads the NFL in sacks.
10:51Where'd he come from?
10:52Miami.
10:53Then Aiden Hutchinson.
10:55Then Dallas Turner.
10:56Coach.
10:57A lion is going to be.
10:59Dallas Turner's pressure rate through the first four weeks is insane.
11:02He's at, like, 25%.
11:04It's one out of every four rushes he's pressuring.
11:06Coach of the year.
11:07Coach of the year.
11:08We're going to go with Ben Johnson.
11:09Kubiak.
11:11Kubiak second.
11:11Ben Johnson's third.
11:14Uh, O'Connell?
11:15No.
11:16That's a good guess.
11:17I don't know how O'Connell's not even up here.
11:20Who are we blanking on?
11:22AFC.
11:22AFC.
11:23Uh, we're going to go.
11:25Oh, uh, Todd Munkin.
11:27Todd Munkin.
11:28Oh, yeah.
11:2919-4.
11:30Then Kubiak.
11:31Ben Johnson.
11:32Jesse Minter.
11:34Stefanski.
11:34John Harbaugh.
11:3514-1.
11:36Kellen.
11:3711-1.
11:37And just for S's and giggles, Schottenheimer.
11:4028-1.
11:41Good value.
11:43No.
11:44Yeah.
11:44Offensive rookie of the year.
11:47Uh, offensive rookie of the year.
11:49Jeremiah Love still.
11:51Jeremiah Love.
11:525-4.
11:52Ben.
11:53They even playing him?
11:55Right.
11:55Carnell Tate and Denzel Boston.
11:574-1.
11:57Carnell Tate just had a good game the other day.
12:00Denzel Boston's good, man.
12:02Jacob Rodriguez.
12:03A victory for Zach Wolchuk.
12:06And I like Jacob Rodriguez, too.
12:08The favorite right now for defensive rookie of the year.
12:10Favorite through lot four weeks.
12:12It has not been.
12:14Arvel Reese.
12:1513-4.
12:16Sonny Style.
12:177-1.
12:17David Bailey.
12:1916-1.
12:20Caleb Downs.
12:2120-1.
12:22Along with Thineman.
12:23Offensive player of the year.
12:25Pepe.
12:26You said his name yesterday.
12:30Um.
12:30Dang it.
12:31Who did I say?
12:32AFC.
12:33Um.
12:34New team.
12:35Not Mahomes.
12:36New.
12:37Kenneth.
12:37Ripped a team for letting him go.
12:39Kenneth Walker.
12:405-2.
12:41Then Jameer.
12:42Bijan.
12:44JSN.
12:44CeeDee Lamb.
12:4512-1.
12:46Derrick Henry.
12:47Jonathan Taylor.
12:48Lamb's going to be a sneaky option.
12:50There you go.
12:50He's playing like that.
12:51With your updates around the NFL and the gaudy conversation.
