00:00Hey, man, this is something on your bingo card, I would think.
00:0349ers and Seahawks, how you doing?
00:05Let's find out who some good football teams are early in the early part of the year here
00:10in a battle in the NFC West and maybe a battle, what you might see as a precursor to what
00:17we might see in an NFC championship game.
00:20Oh, man, one of my favorite games of the week this week.
00:23I love both of these teams.
00:25And I'll read you a stat, Dan.
00:26And 18 times the Seattle Seahawks have been favored 17 and one.
00:33They are in those games over the last couple of years, 17 and one, obviously three at three
00:38point favorites here in the market.
00:39But income, the hottest team in football right now, undefeated San Francisco 49ers, Brock
00:44Purdy playing like an MVP.
00:46He's my early choice for the MVP right now with how good he has been.
00:49And injuries be damned.
00:51This team just keeps getting the job done.
00:53Kyle Shanahan is running a tight ship there.
00:54George Kittle finally looked like George Kittle of old last year.
00:57Debo Samuels come back and look like the dynamic weapon that he can be.
01:01So it's a fascinating matchup.
01:03It's really hard to ignore how good the Niners have been and want to take them with the points.
01:07But again, looking at that stat, looking at how Mike McDonald gets these Seattle Seahawks
01:12teams prepared and cherry on top too.
01:14Last year, the Seattle Seahawks absolutely dog walked the 49ers in the playoffs last year,
01:19put a 40 spot on them and sent them packing nice and early at home.
01:22Everybody was thinking, oh, San Francisco going to play in the Super Bowl in their home arena.
01:26Not so fast, my friend.
01:28The Seattle Seahawks said they got better plans.
01:30So it's a huge matchup early in the season, a litmus test for both of these teams.
01:34Which one is the true king of this staunch division?
01:38The Rams are obviously still kicking around over there, man.
01:41Don't forget about them.
01:42But everybody kind of just predetermined they were going to be the best team in this division.
01:46But I think the winner of this game, the team that goes out there and asserts their dominance
01:50and their will in this one is going to be the front horse going forward in this division.
01:55So fascinating matchup up and down defensively, offensively.
01:59Is Purdy going to keep playing like an MVP candidate?
02:03Is JSN going to put his stamp on this game?
02:04Is Sam Darnold going to make some bad mistakes and possibly throw away this game?
02:08Or is he going to look like the Sam Darnold of last year that led them to a Super Bowl?
02:11So I absolutely cannot wait to watch this football game.
02:15It's going to be awesome.
02:16And the Niners have been kind of a fun side watch for me.
02:21My little side piece to start the season, we'll say.
02:23They've been playing some good ball.
02:25Dude, I love the coaching matchup too.
02:27Kyle Shanahan, Mike McDonald.
02:29You got a defensive-minded dude versus the offensive guru guy.
02:32That's also a part of this game tonight.
02:36Yeah, absolutely.
02:37And, you know, a lot of people forgot that Fred Warner is one of, if not the best linebacker in
02:43football.
02:44And so missing him last year was so massive for this Niners defense.
02:48And obviously Bosa being out and they're dealing with a lot of other issues defensively right now.
02:51But having that, you know, that linchpin, Fred Warner back in your lineup defensively,
02:55has been huge for this team to start the season.
02:57So I think that we should see something that will continue in that route defensively.
03:03But, again, this is going to totally depend upon if Brock Purdy can keep playing like an MVP,
03:07this team's going to be really hard to stop.
