00:04an AFC West game, man, I don't know what to make of Denver.
00:07You know, one day I see it, then I don't see the offense.
00:11It's like Casper to Ghost.
00:12It's just not there.
00:14And Bo Nix has done nothing.
00:16There's changes going on, obviously, when it comes to the play calling.
00:21You know, Mike McDaniels hasn't really been an impact there for Justin Herbert.
00:26There's a lot of question marks going.
00:27More question marks, I would think, for the Chargers.
00:30But, you know, Denver was picked to be one of the teams to come out of the AFC
00:34to potentially get to Los Angeles and play in the Super Bowl.
00:37I mean, this is a big game for Denver here.
00:40I mean, this is a big game for both teams.
00:42Like, you and I both like the Chargers going into this season,
00:45what they were going to bring to the table with McDaniels, as you mentioned,
00:48another year of Herbert with admirable weapons.
00:51And what have they done?
00:52Absolutely nothing.
00:53Looked like one of the worst teams in football.
00:55And I've never really been a big believer in the Broncos.
00:57Bo Nix, to me, is not an elite franchise quarterback in the NFL.
01:01He's been carried by good defense and good play calling.
01:04And we just talked about it before we got started.
01:06It just came out that Sean Payton is going to be taking over offensive coordinating duties
01:09from Davis Webb, which, I mean, how can you blame him?
01:13This offense has looked really bad to start the season.
01:15And on the other side, they don't have that vaunted defense they've had.
01:18Pat Sertan is going to miss some time on the IR.
01:20Riley Moss is not going to play in this game either.
01:23So, so many questions.
01:25It's one of those teams where somebody's got to win, right?
01:27One of these two teams got to get a dub here.
01:29I mean, I guess they could tie, right?
01:30But, like, it feels like one of those spots where, God, I want to take the Chargers so
01:35bad with the points at home.
01:37Just, they've burned me so many times to start the season.
01:39They can't get much worse, you think.
01:41And then they just go out there and look terrible once again.
01:44Their offensive line play, Dan, I don't know if you've watched some tape of some Chargers
01:47games, but good God, you and I could get out there and play some better offensive line
01:51play than what they've been doing protecting Justin Herbert.
01:53So, that entire team needs to be better.
01:56But it's just one of those games, like I said in the beginning, desperation.
02:00Which one of these teams is going to come in and play with just a little more fire, a
02:04little more desperation?
02:05And to be honest with you, I haven't seen it from either one of them to start the season.
02:08So, I'm not going to get invested in this game.
02:11But, as I said, somebody's got to win unless we get a tie.
