00:00Both these football teams really are at a crossroads tonight.
00:03I mean, Seahawks coming off a really tough loss to the 49ers.
00:07They're at home.
00:08And you also on the other side, you have Denver that is going through a coaching change when it comes
00:14to the coordinator.
00:14So it's a pretty big football game tonight to find out if these football teams are going to be those
00:20teams at the end of the year that are going to be true contenders.
00:24Bo Nix, he's been up and down.
00:26No question about it.
00:27Maybe it is because of the coordinator, but hey, look, man, he's got to have a mindset and stop the
00:33turnovers.
00:34Well, that's the biggest, that's the honestly, really, and truly the biggest battle right now is like, you want to
00:40be aggressive, want to be aggressive, want to be aggressive.
00:42And then you see stats and you're like, well, this team is causing the most turnovers in the league.
00:45And then you're like, okay, well, I can't put my team in a situation where I'm turning the football over
00:49and putting our defense in a bad spot, giving them a short field.
00:53And at the end of the day, it's like, who cares?
00:55You know, like, why would I go out there worried about throwing an interception?
00:59Why would I go out there trying to throw every football 50 yards down the field?
01:04Just play the play.
01:05If the play's there, hit it.
01:06If it's not there, check it down, run, throw it away, punt.
01:10Who cares?
01:10That's the play that I was dealt and I have to do, just remind myself not to play hero ball.
01:16It's just one play at a time, do exactly what I'm supposed to do.
01:19And who cares?
01:20If the play causes me to throw an interception and I forced it and that was there and I liked
01:26what I saw, it may happen.
01:27You know, it's going to happen.
01:28It's happened before.
01:29It may happen again.
01:30If it's not there, I'm not going to throw it into a team meeting.
01:33I'm going to check the ball down and we're going to move on.
01:35And that's just the play that's given to me and I have to continue to just do that.
01:41Okay, what was the question?
01:42I lost it.
01:43I mean, hey, the guy's writing a siliqui for me here.
01:46Holy cow, man.
01:47I mean, dude, I forgot.
01:49What was the question here?
01:50All right.
01:50So Cortland Sutton, too.
01:52You know, listen, it's a big game for these dudes, man.
01:55And he knows the pressure is on Bo Nix, but they got to right the ship, man.
02:00A lot of flack for, you know, just being the starting quarterback.
02:04And, you know, we all have certain things that come with our, you know, our job description.
02:10And, you know, for him, he has a lot of weight on his shoulders.
02:12And so if not, if it's not even just myself, you know, I think if you ask all the guys
02:18in
02:18that locker room, the offensive guys, defense guys, special teams, you know, everyone has
02:22his back.
02:23You know, we all know that for us to have success, we need to be able to have that success.
02:28And we're going to always have his back no matter what, good, bad, and indifferent.
02:32Because, you know, it will be the same way, vice versa.
02:34If we're at practice, he knows how a lot of us are, our temperaments.
02:39And he knows how I am.
02:40He and I are very similar in terms of being, you know, high competitors.
02:44And we want things to be perfect.
02:46And when things aren't perfect, we get frustrated.
02:47And so he sees me when I have, like, something may happen in practice.
02:50And he comes over and he's like, wipe it, let it go.
02:53Like, on to the next one.
02:54And, you know, for us to be able to have that relationship, to be able to both be able to
02:58go back and forth and say, hey, look, you know, wipe it, let it go.
03:01I got your back, you got my back, let's go to the next play.
03:02And I think that, like I said, you ask any of the guys in the locker room, everyone has that
03:06same
03:06mentality of wanting to have each other's back.
03:09And especially when it comes to 10, I think that we all have that mentality of wanting
03:12to make sure that he feels comfortable, confident to be able to go out there and play fast.
03:17Again, I mean, guys, go play a game.
03:21I mean, stop over explaining.
03:23Anytime players or coaches have to over explain something, that means something's really wrong
03:28in the room.
03:29You never hear things like that going on in Kansas City or with Matthew Stafford.
03:34These guys are going on some epic rant about why a guy is not playing consistent football.
03:40Hey, go out and play, dude.
03:42You know, this is the same guy I saw when he was at Auburn and also when he was up
03:47at Oregon.
03:47I'm talking Bo Nix.
03:49Dude, this guy here, look at his percentage.
03:5164-2.
03:53I mean, without a doubt, we got an issue here right here.
03:56And you know what it is?
03:57Just go play some football here, man.
03:59All right, on the other side, Sam Darnold and that Seahawks team, man, they take it on
04:03the chin against that 49ers team this past week.
04:06And they know tonight, this is a big game.
04:09And there is a sense of urgency in Seattle.
04:11For us, it's a, there's a sense of urgency.
04:15I think that term, you know, that phrase like sense of urgency, it's been thrown around a
04:20lot the last couple of days.
04:21And it's true.
04:21You know, there needs to be a sense of urgency to get better and have ball security.
04:25For me personally, like I'm just, I'm going to continue to try to be as decisive as I
04:29can be and, and go through my reads and trust what I see, trust my feet, all those
04:33things.
04:35But yeah, can't have turnovers.
04:37Um, you know, it's, you got to protect the football in this league.
04:40And, um, if you don't, you'll pay, man, I think the analytics departments, I think
04:45they're infecting some of these players.
04:47That guy's porn Dexter Darnold there, man.
04:50I mean, how about Cooper cup yet?
04:52Is that the ghost that we saw in New York with Sam Darnold Cooper cup though, at least
04:58has some common sense.
04:59And this guy speaks his mind.
05:01I mean, it's just putting it all together.
05:02They're like, we've, we have flashes and moments of, um, of efficiency moments of explosiveness.
05:09Um, and, and moments that just, we're playing really good football.
05:13And then we also have moments where it's just not good enough and there's mistakes and there's
05:17going backwards and there's, you know, self-inflicted wounds.
05:20And, um, it's finding ways to eliminate those and keep things moving forward.
05:25Keep the ball moving forward.
05:26Um, you know, it's, it's our own stuff.
05:28It's our own stuff right now.
05:28And we, we just have to be better there, man.
05:30I like that dude.
05:31I really do.
05:33I like that dude.
05:33I like that football team.
05:35And I do like Seattle tonight here.
