00:00Man, we're going to start week seven of the National Football League.
00:03You're starting to see teams really start to separate themselves.
00:06And I got to say this, we talked prior to the show,
00:11has to be one of the greatest coaching jobs going on right now in the NFL.
00:15It's got to be John Harbaugh and what they're doing with the New York Giants.
00:20A thriller.
00:21Scadaboo, how about the way that he benched them?
00:24He comes back, and he was a dog in that football game.
00:27They ran the football, and boy, I got to tell you, man, J.J. McCarthy,
00:32maybe it wasn't sexy, but hey, he's a 1-0 quarterback with the New York Giants.
00:38Truly the only stat I care about is going 1-0.
00:41You know, I could care less how we get it done.
00:44At the end of the day, you want to perform well.
00:46You want to execute well.
00:48And, you know, it's one of those things where, you know,
00:51if the running backs are getting their touches and getting their touchdowns,
00:54I'm as happy as I can be.
00:56Whether I'm throwing the touchdowns, I'm as happy as I can be.
00:59You know, at the end of the day, all that matters is getting that victory.
01:02How about that story going on right now?
01:04They are 4-2-1 on the season right now.
01:08Make no – I mean, this is one of the greatest coaching jobs going on.
01:11We've seen in New York in a long time.
01:14Kudos to John Harbaugh.
01:15Now, on the other side, you had some undefeated teams going into this ballgame here,
01:20and the defending champions were taking on the Kansas City Chiefs.
01:24Boy, I'll tell you what.
01:26They just absolutely struggled.
01:28That Seahawk defense looked like that Seahawk defense of a year ago,
01:33and they got it done, and Mahomes knows.
01:36They got to respond after this game.
01:38Yeah, I mean, I think the biggest takeaway is if you don't come ready to play,
01:41it's just you can get your toe kicked in this league,
01:43and no matter if you're 5-0 or whatever it is, like, every week's a new week,
01:46and every team can do this.
01:49And so you have to have that mindset of when you go throughout the week of practice
01:52of we need our best football that Sunday, and I have to do the same as well.
01:55And so we've got a young team.
01:58It'll be about how we respond from this, obviously,
02:00with the big game coming up this next week.
02:01So let's get rolling and get ourselves ready for that.
02:05Yeah, and another one of those undefeated football teams also was the San Francisco 49ers.
02:10I got to tell you, B. John Robinson is some football player.
02:13Michael Penix, how about that with the Falcons?
02:16He's starting to play some pretty good ball, and I got to say, man,
02:19I thought they took it to the 49ers, and Kyle Shanahan knows.
02:23This was a tough loss here.
02:26I mean, it's hard to say that stuff.
02:27Usually that stuff plays in guys not going as hard and things like that,
02:31and, I mean, I was really proud of a lot of guys.
02:34I thought our wideouts stepped up.
02:35I thought Jordan Watkins made some big plays.
02:37I thought we ran the ball really well.
02:40You know, we had one punt in the game, but when it comes down to those turnovers,
02:45I don't think that was from the things you just said.
02:47I think they were just, we've got to protect the ball better.
02:49They do a good job of going for it, but they got it out.
02:52We lost two of them with Kittle and with KB,
02:55and then I thought they made two really good picks, to tell you the truth.
02:5953 made a hell of a play dropping out of there after a blitz that we didn't see,
03:02and Brock's got to throw that one away.
03:04It seemed like he did, but B. John made a hell of a pick on it.
03:08Any given Sunday, huh?
03:10That's exactly what played out this past weekend in week seven of the NFL.
03:15How about the undefeated Vikings?
03:17I have no idea how they're making this happen here.
03:20Their offense is absolutely awful.
03:23Kyler Murray knows that, too.
03:25It's all about the dudes on the other side of the football, that Vikings defense.
03:30What they do surprises me.
03:32You know, I understand.
03:33I know how hard they work and the continuity between those guys.
03:36It's one of a kind.
03:37You know, it's a really special group over there.
03:39And, yeah, nothing that they do on Sunday surprises me.
03:43I honestly, I expect them to go out there and do that.
03:45I know that they expect that from themselves.
03:47So I'm definitely blessed.
03:50Somebody might want to get that guy a Tokyo phone book.
03:53Maybe he could stand up there a little bit more when he stands up there on the microphone there.
03:58But I got to tell you, man, a little bit there.
