00:00Jacob, you mentioned the Chiefs.
00:02This is too straight now that they've dropped.
00:04I know they have to go up to Denver, a very tough place to play.
00:07And they had a lead, and they couldn't hold the lead.
00:11I mean, that's something that championship football teams do.
00:14They put teams away.
00:15Concerns on that, especially late in that ballgame,
00:18Denver was able to rally, come back, and win there.
00:21I mean, Bo Nix, as we said, he's not really anybody special,
00:24but the play caller on the other side is a special play caller in Sean Payton.
00:30What was your takeaway with that game?
00:32Yeah, my main take on the Broncos side of it,
00:34my main takeaway is Bo Nix can function as a game manager,
00:37and he'll occasionally make those high-end plays where you're like,
00:40oh, he threw on the run, made a nice throw.
00:42He's not going to beat you with spectacular plays all the time,
00:45but because that team is so well coached and has a good defense,
00:48the Broncos are just going to be a tough and pesky team to beat.
00:51You really don't want them to get that home field advantage in Denver, too,
00:54because it is so hard to win there.
00:56For the Chiefs side of this, I'm looking at this.
00:59These last two wins have something very much in common.
01:02Kenneth Walker has been bottled up by the Seahawks and the Broncos,
01:05more so than he was early in the season.
01:07Now, that's not to say that he was completely stymied this week against the Broncos,
01:11but I think teams are proving and saying, hey,
01:13if we take away Kenneth Walker and make Patrick Mahomes have to beat us
01:17with the receiving core he has, Mahomes is still capable of doing that,
01:21but just not at the same consistent level we saw early in his career.
01:24So, I firmly expect that Mahomes is going to continue to perform well
01:28and keep the Chiefs competitive,
01:29but if the game falls entirely on that passing game,
01:32they just don't have the horses at receiver and tight end.
01:35You know, Kelsey's still good at this point,
01:37but he's not the same high-end option he once was.
01:40They just don't have the horses needed to win games like that consistently
01:43against top-tier talent.
01:44They just don't have the horses, but they just don't have the horses.
