Destiny has been busy moving into her new apartment and gathering up some pets. She filmed a couple cooking videos and recorded voice overs to update us on the last few weeks. We get an apartment tour, and it turned out to be a better deal for them than they originally thought. Later in the month, Destiny answers some questions she received on the first few videos she posted. We find out why Destiny moved to Alabama and how that changed her job status. Destiny and her girlfriend have been taking care of her girlfriend’s grandma’s AirBnb’s in Alabama, and it has Destiny thinking of starting a cleaning business with her girlfriend.

00:00what's up guys we did get moved we're still settling in things have been going really good
00:05with the move we did unexpectedly get a very tiny kitten so we're also taking care of a kitten now
00:12i just have some clips of some breakfast i made for myself the other day and then
00:16just some other food things which you guys can just watch that while i talk
00:26so about the kitten we're not exactly sure how old it is we're thinking like three or four weeks so

00:30have been trying to bottle feed it all night we're i believe it's a boy so let's just we're
00:36gonna call him a boy right now and we've decided to name him loki he's all black he's so cute

00:42i'll try to add a clip of him at the end of this i couldn't get him to really eat

00:46good so this morning i actually kind of just spoon fed him and let him go at his own pace

00:51he really liked that we just got him last night so it's not even been a full day with him

00:56been a little hectic today and last night i'm getting ready for my job interview right now but
01:01i wanted to get this done and out there for you guys because i know it's been a couple of
01:05days
01:06and my girlfriend's been off the past couple of days and she has no interest in being in these videos
01:10like and i have no interest in her being in them just because i don't want her getting out there
01:16and you know just all the things that come with you know internet trolls and things like that so
01:21you guys won't be seeing any of her that's just our preference really she did come home early
01:28one of these days let's see we moved monday she came home early saturday so i think this video is
01:34from saturday like so i don't think i uploaded saturday she came home a little early and she wanted
01:39some fruit you know she just wasn't feeling good it was only like a couple hours early and she
01:44requested it that was my fruit this is her fruit so it's just me making fruit back to back i'm
01:51really excited about this job interview it's only three minutes down the road from where we live now
01:55so that'll be really nice this was my first time cutting strawberries like this because i didn't
01:59feel like dirtying up another dish to use as a cutting board and where i was doing it in this

02:03i couldn't just like kind of do it and it was kind of hard but this worked i was kind

02:07cutting my thumb off a couple times but i didn't i was afraid the kitten would meow through some of

02:13because he he does have a mouth on him he's just a little whiny guy and i don't blame him

02:18misses his mom we you know waited for his mom there was two others but we're pretty sure she abandoned
02:24them they were in her sister's attic no mom to be found so this is me actually getting a steak

02:32we went to my sister's saturday night and they we grilled out steaks and stuff we shared this this was
02:37a ribeye i went and got from aldi it was like seventeen dollars i think but you'll see me just
02:42season it real good we split this and we actually didn't finish it we had it for lunch the next

02:47when she was at work but yeah once we get everything settled in and everything i'll definitely give you

02:59thing type like thing like we have we're in an apartment that's part of like a house basically
03:10i don't really know how else to describe it but once we get it more situated we will definitely
03:15give you a little tour this is me reheating the steak the leftovers for lunch the next day i did

03:22get my dog on sunday from my dad's while she was working he definitely enjoys being back with me
03:27he's he's met uh my girlfriend a couple times like when she would come over when i lived at my
03:33house
03:33still so he's used to her he loves her he's been choosing her over me the past couple days so
03:39it's funny when he does that every time wasabi lays on my chest you get mad and take him away
03:44because i love my wasabi i want him to cuddle with me yeah and not me he's just glad to
03:49be back with me
03:50he's good he's always good he likes the kitten every time it cries like it meows a lot he does

03:56little concerned about it so i added this almond milk to this macaroni to like kind of reheat it
04:01and it be a little bit better and it ended up you'll see me taste test it it was gross
04:06because
04:06we use sweetened almond milk so it made the like it made it almost like sweet and it was just
04:16gross so i just was like no i guess we're not gonna have the macaroni but we had the steak
04:21and i forget what i put with it hang up but i know i made something else oh steak and
04:26eggs i asked
04:27her if she wanted tacos or steak and eggs and then when i checked the tortillas the tortillas were a
04:32little stale so we want steak and eggs that's what it was i don't have too much more of an
04:36update for
04:37you guys right now i will be recording some more today that way you can see some of the unpacking
04:43some of the apartment and i'm gonna be going to this interview here shortly i'll let you guys know

04:54i really like this ghee that i've been using as butter instead of just butter it has a high smoke
04:59point so it doesn't burn as quickly as butter that's really nice because you know sometimes
05:03like especially this is a new stove so it gets it gets hot pretty quick and you don't got to

05:08it up very high for it to be hot hot all right so like i said that's really all the

05:25gonna be a little catch-up vlog we've been so busy moving things have changed i'm gonna show you guys
05:33some of the kitten and then a house tour so here's me this is me and him playing the other

05:41was just laying in the bed with me we don't let him sleep in the bed with us he's just
05:45too little
05:46but isn't he so cute his name is loki he may be three or four weeks old now i'm not

05:53still have to bottle feed him i i'm doing that every three to four hours and then he can't go
05:57to the
05:57bathroom on his own at this point in this video he just started going to the bathroom on his own
06:02yesterday look how stinking cute he's so funny his eyes are so pretty right now but they also remind
06:09me of like penny wise because they never be looking the same way like sometimes i look at him
06:14i'm like can you look at me with both your eyes because scary his eyes will eventually not be blue
06:20i've done a lot of research on how young he was he's in his little like rough play stage so
06:26he wants
06:27to bite and then he just finally figured out how to retract his claws like once their claws come out
06:33they don't know how to retract them at first but he does now that was him trying to get my
06:39finger
06:39he i think he might have been thinking he was hungry but the boy stays full i keep him on
06:45his schedule
06:45very strictly and his belly is never empty there's him sleeping he's so cute i'm talking about him and he
06:53knows it this is me baby wearing him this was right after we got him he still wanted to just
06:58be like close
06:59at all times he also needs to stay as warm as possible his bed is set up with a heating

07:04so he sleeps very well look at him right here he's so cute i want to say this was the
07:08day after we got
07:09him he was meowing he's just so little right here he looks so big right now like he's this was
07:15a couple
07:15weeks ago we've had him for about two weeks almost now and then here's the house tour all right so
07:21here's the front door you come through this is a rough draft we're still getting stuff together
07:25because actually this room right here was going to be our living room and our kitchen
07:32but some things changed and then we got this tv mounted and it turns out it doesn't work anymore
07:38so that sucks sound works but nothing else that's our toilet paper towels board games i got some
07:45cat pellets for when he finally starts using a litter box this is our room don't judge right now
07:51we're just we're still figuring stuff out um so yeah we're still just figuring a lot out there's
07:59the kitty right there there's a little setup always got friends playing in the background this is the
08:04bathroom and there we go shower nice shower head we put that shower head in there's all that
08:16yeah the squatty potty oh and there's the light and the mirror and that's also a medicine cabinet
08:23and then you come through here that was supposed to be the whole apartment that we were getting but
08:26now we have all of this so this is part of our pantry this little hallway will be and then
08:32we have
08:33a kitchen so we went and got some stuff from hobby lobby they're having a really good sale like
08:37a spring sale um and some of this that decor right there i'm pointing at it that was at my
08:43mom's
08:43house um and then so was that little placard right there beside the bread box my red bull for this
08:50morning that bin thing down there was from my mom's house the plate things from my mom's house check
08:56out the kitchen aid i got my girlfriend and then this little entryway we're gonna move this stuff around
09:04and then there's my mom um this is like my little coffee bar that coffee sign is also from my
09:11mom's
09:12house um ice maker drink fridge front door other front door this is just a bunch of junk we got
09:21to
09:21figure out another fridge trash can so yeah and this is this is what we're working with there's gonna be
09:27a door that goes to that other room you saw and yeah that is pretty much it once it gets
09:32more done
09:33i'll definitely give an updated house tour there's just so much that we're still getting done i will

09:49currently job hunting so i'm not really going to explain too much of what i'm doing in this vlog it's
09:54pretty self-explanatory i'll answer questions about it after i post it but this is mostly just to give
10:01you guys a little update because it seems like after i uploaded these videos to youtube that a
10:07lot of people had a lot of questions so i'm here to answer those so first off um i am
10:11no longer with
10:12lexus we are currently going through a divorce i've been with my current girlfriend since october and
10:19we've lived together since about february we did just recently move into this new apartment we were
10:24living at her grandmother's house her grandmother moved to atlanta and is selling her house so we
10:29moved into what was an airbnb that she had and she wanted us to just kind of maintain it and
10:35help
10:35with the keep up of it the other airbnb that i posted about cleaning um is also owned by her
10:41grandmother and i believe her uncle and i just cleaned i cleaned it quite a few times for them
10:46since they've been renting it we currently have a kitten we planned on getting a cat once we got
10:51settled this one fell into our lap kind of and he needed somebody to take care of him so that's
10:56what we're doing my other cats lexus kept both of my cats we didn't feel like they needed to be
11:01separated they bonded together very well like we just didn't think separating them would be a good
11:07idea so she has both of them they are fairly happy everything is great for them and then i had
11:13some
11:13people asking about carter i still have carter he's currently snuggling into my leg as i'm recording
11:19this so he's alive and he's well he just is very lazy and doesn't like to make a lot of
11:25appearances so
11:27i did move to alabama it's only 45 minutes away from where i lived in florida so it didn't move
11:33very
11:33far my sister also lives where i live so you know we kind of both had to uproot and be
11:39over here and
11:40it's really not that bad we both are really enjoying it actually and i have been job hunting i've actually
11:45been applying to jobs here since december i got laid off from my job in march it was very
11:50abrupt i was not expecting it i gave them a notice in january that i would be moving to alabama
11:56so therefore i just wanted them to be aware that my commute would probably change a little bit just
12:02wanted to give them a heads up and that come march 1st that i would probably be looking for other
12:07employment to help with that and that i would be willing to train you know the person that replaced
12:12me all these things well i gave them that notice the end of january they didn't hire anybody to
12:18even remotely replace me until the first week of march and my manager asked me if i had any leads
12:25on any jobs like if i was for sure still gonna be here i said i'm gonna be here until
12:29i have something
12:30else and she was very understanding she was like okay cool training the one new person they realized that
12:35the job that i was doing takes two people so they hired another person and when they hired the
12:40other person the week that they started she pulled me into the office and decided that they can't
12:46afford to pay but it was just two people in the front office they couldn't afford to pay four people
12:51so they said that they were gonna let me go since i was going anyway and i haven't had a
12:55job since
12:56my last day working there was i think it was supposed to be march 23rd but i didn't go because
13:01the last day that i went to work uh my co-worker made me feel very uncomfortable which is very
13:08sad
13:08because i was friends with this person for over 10 years um and has me currently blocked on all
13:13social media i don't i don't know what i did to deserve that because you know i mean i don't
13:18know
13:18i just really don't know i don't i haven't spoken to her about it because frankly it's not worth my
13:23time i'm tired like things were sketchy with her towards the end anyway like things have just been on
13:28and off um she did help me move though she helped me pack all my stuff from the house me
13:33and lexus had
13:34together and put it in a u-haul and me drive it to alabama so like i really i just
13:39i don't
13:39understand what happened there was no communication she had packed all of my things in a box like i
13:45had packed most of my things but she packed everything i had in a box when i got there
13:49and i was just clearly unwelcomed and i trained the second person that they hired for a full day
13:55she had a lot of experience so i feel like she had it and i just i didn't go back
13:59because i was not
14:01gonna feel unwelcome in a place i had spent four years of my life and put in a lot of
14:05work too
14:05just to be treated like that i've gone to multiple multiple interviews since then um just
14:11doing a lot of side things just to get some extra money coming our way my girlfriend does work that
14:17she is the breadwinner right now so i do what i can to keep the house in order i take
14:22care of the
14:23kitten and i take care of carter she does to keep me pretty busy when she gets off work we're
14:27never not doing something i swear what are things y'all like to do together as a couple
14:32grocery shopping grocery shopping shopping in general going out to eat daily tasks living
14:39together in general going anywhere together it's like you're doing running errands yeah like whether
14:44we have to go to the bank we have to deposit money i went to the doctor she went with
14:49me i just
14:50like being around her yeah where's your other half shoot she's in the car
14:56it's been there's been a lot of good things that have happened while i haven't been working
15:00and things that i needed to be off for so i can't complain too much we went to atlanta for
15:05five days
15:06something like that and you know we had a good time we went to the aquarium we went to the
15:09zoo
15:09we moved her grandma stuff like and you know we got paid for that so that's not too bad we
15:14got paid i
15:15got paid to clean the house as like a move out special kind of thing the other day that was
15:20good
15:21so they love the house some realtors have ranted and raved about how well we did cleaning the house
15:28and we're possibly looking into starting a cleaning business because that's what i seem to
15:33be doing a lot of here lately and my girlfriend doesn't really like to clean that much but she's
15:37really good at like organizing and reorganizing things maybe we'll get into that but right now we're
15:44still just trying to get settled into our new house i think that's all the update i really had
15:47for you guys look at that little guy he has got to wear when it's the last bit of his
15:52bottle like
15:53he fights me on eating it i don't know like what the issue is because he clearly wants it but
15:57like
15:58and he's been so against wet food and cat food in general like he just wants his baba you know
16:03like
16:03he's five weeks old he's getting to where he needs to be off the baba but you know i'm gonna
16:07let him have
16:08it till he decides and i do try every couple of days to give him wet food so eventually he'll
16:13get it
16:13he already uses the litter box he's a big boy he's he's doing really good that's all i have for
16:18you
