00:00Let's start it off in the college side here with Kevin Walsh here.
00:03Big weekend, obviously, the headliners, Georgia-Bama.
00:06How do you see this one here?
00:07Because, again, you know, the one thing people are saying right now
00:10is that Georgia's the most complete college football team in the country.
00:14Bama's got a hell of a quarterback right now,
00:16been playing some pretty good defense on that side of the ball.
00:18How do you like this game here?
00:20You know, I think one of the interesting things with Georgia,
00:22and I think they are worthy of the second ranking.
00:26If they were first, I would have no issue with that.
00:28It is wild some of the disparity, though,
00:30when we just think about competition for everybody else,
00:33but specifically Georgia.
00:35And, again, it's not like it's their fault,
00:38but it's like, oh, the SEC's so good,
00:40and Georgia has played three SEC games against Arkansas, Vanderbilt,
00:44and then, like, Oklahoma's supposed to be good,
00:46and OU's kind of a mess.
00:47Like, it is wild how those things tend to work out.
00:50The big difference in this year's game versus the others, Dan,
00:56is Alabama has been off the bye both seasons when they played Georgia
01:02in the regular season.
01:03And Kalen DeBoer going back to Washington, so good off the bye.
01:08I mean, pretty much unbeatable, covers the number all the time.
01:13And that was happening in these games.
01:16They were getting – they had double-digit halftime leads in both, right?
01:19Both games ended up being decided by one score.
01:22The SEC championship last year, there was no bye.
01:26And Georgia rolled 28-7.
01:29These are two teams who have certainly been impressive.
01:32I think Georgia's looked better.
01:34And I don't think it is unfair to wonder how Keelon Russell
01:40is going to look against this Georgia defense.
01:42He's been great.
01:43He's played some bad defenses.
01:45So, I find myself liking Georgia in this spot, but really, really close game,
01:50really excited for it.
01:52You know, let me ask you about Ken DeBoer here and how people look at him.
01:57Is it because – you know that famous line, Kevin, don't ever replace the dude,
02:02replace the dude that replaced the dude?
02:04Is he in an unwinnable situation unless this thing comes out to be a national championship
02:10and multiple national championships?
02:12Because it just seems to me, every Bama fan, every Southeastern Conference fan,
02:17Paul Feinbaum is like, hey, is this the same Bama that – well, he kind of is.
02:22You know what I'm saying?
02:23I mean, he's just in an unwinnable situation almost.
02:26Yeah, I think people need to take a deep breath because, first of all,
02:31there are no Nick Saban Bamas in the country right now.
02:36So, like, it's not like, oh, man, that's supposed to be us.
02:40Who?
02:41That doesn't exist.
02:42Nobody's ripping off title after title after title.
02:45That doesn't – that's just not the game.
02:46In fact, we've gotten to the point now where the Big Ten is like, we're Alabama,
02:51but it's like a whole conference.
02:53Like, it takes a whole conference to try and replicate what Nick Saban had going at Alabama.
02:59So, you take the Kalen DeBoer sample size, year number one,
03:03they were the controversial left-out-of-the-playoff team.
03:08They probably should have been put in.
03:10It happens.
03:12Okay.
03:12Last year, they make the playoff and win a playoff game on the road
03:19and made the SEC championship game.
03:22And they're like, coaching for his job.
03:25Guys, if Kalen DeBoer's coaching for his job, who isn't?
03:30And maybe the answer is everybody is coaching for their job
03:33because that's just the world we live in, Dan.
03:35But, man, like, yeah, it's funny.
03:37They're 5-0, and the vibes are great.
03:39And if they lose to Georgia, it'll be like, well, they lose their next game in Tennessee.
03:45DeBoer might not be coaching the A&M game.
03:47It's like, okay, guys.
03:48I guess.
03:50I guess.
03:52Absolutely, man.
