ज़िला मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर के क़स्बा में बुढ़ाना स्थित भैसाना में बजाज चीनी मिल पर किसानों का 225 करोड़ रूपया गन्ना मूल्य भुगतान बकाया चल रहा है। भुगतान की मांग को लेकर 96 दिनों से भारतीय किसान यूनियन कार्यकर्ता चीनी मिल गेट पर धरना दे रहे हैं। कई दौर के आंदोलन और धरना प्रदर्शन के बावजूद चीनी मिल की ओर से पूर्ण भुगतान नहीं किया गया। इसकों लेकर क़स्बा बुढ़ाना में ट्रैक्टर निकाला गया। ट्रैक्टर मार्च के बाद भैसाना शुगर मिल में पंचायत का आयोजन किया। राकेश टिकैत ने कहा हैं कि शासनादेश का उल्लंघन कर चीनी मिल किसानों को भुगतान नहीं कर रहे। जिस पर प्रदेश सरकार भी मौन साधे बैठी है। बकाया गन्ना मूल्य भुगतान न होने से क्षेत्र का किसान परेशान है।

In Bhaisana, located in the Budhana town of Muzaffarnagar district, farmers are awaiting a sugarcane payment of 225 crores from Bajaj Sugar Mill. Protesting the demand for payment, BKU workers have been staging a sit-in at the mill gate for 96 days. Despite several rounds of agitation and demonstrations, the sugar mill has not made full payment. In response, a tractor march was organized in Budhana. After the tractor march, a panchayat was held at Bhaisana Sugar Mill.
Rakesh Tikait has stated that the sugar mill is not making payments, violating government orders, and the state government remains silent. The delay in receiving the sugarcane payment has left the farmers in the region distressed.
