Delhi was turned into a fortress following a protest call by the CJP at Jantar Mantar over alleged large-scale exclusions during the Special Intensive Revision of voter lists. Demonstrators demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Delhi Police enforced multi-layer barricades, drone surveillance, and body cameras across Central Delhi, detaining protesters including members of a left student wing attempting to head towards the BJP headquarters. Strict identity checks were carried out at entry points such as ITO, while RAF, CAPF, and the all-women Pink Force were deployed along routes including Janpath Road to foil demonstrations.
