00:00First unveiled almost three years ago during the Game Awards 2023 showcase, with OD, Kojima
00:06is setting out to create a horror experience no one has ever seen before. That is, a game,
00:12but at the same time, a movie. From the involvement of Jordan Peele to the announced cast involved,
00:18OD is one very curious project we're eager to see more of. Add to that the comparisons to PT,
00:24Kojima's previous ill-fated horror endeavour, and it's no wonder people are so excited about it.
00:31Kojima himself has said that he is creating a very unique, immersive and totally new style of game,
00:37or rather a new form of media, revealing in 2026 in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that he
00:44wants to go beyond the limit of the scariness that other games reached. Kojima has unveiled the actors
00:50who will be taking starring roles in OD, although he is yet to confirm the names of the characters
00:55that they will eventually play. Sophia Lillis, Hunter Schafer and Udo Kier all appear on OD's first teaser,
01:03showcasing striking performances. The OD release date is still likely to be years away at this point,
01:10creative director Hideo Kojima is certainly focused on its development, but no release window has been
01:15seen yet, though we can expect it to land on Xbox Series X and S and PC, possibly via Game
01:22Pass.
01:23Whenever it comes out, the question here is, will you be playing this one?
