00:14No, that's exactly it. I mean, that was the one drive that got us going. I think it was like
00:1812 plays or something, and we had to overcome a few penalties. I don't know if there was a sack,
00:22but we were not in good down in distance on a number of them. I think it was just penalties,
00:26and Mike and Brock to be able to get us back in there with some explosives and be able to
00:30get in the end zone was huge. That's exactly why he's here.

00:38there for your team and try to do your best to help get a win, I mean, that's what I'm
00:41going to do. And that's what a lot of guys on this team have been doing, you know, playing through
00:44injuries and, you know, putting it all out there.

00:52Burkhardt on Fox, Shanahan on Evans, and then Evans on himself, basically, is what you just heard. The 49ers beat
01:02the Seahawks.
01:03The drive we've all been waiting for. 12 plays, 74 yards, beginning of the fourth quarter, two penalties, one of
01:12them for Cocteau, and the Niners move right through it for the only lengthy touchdown drive of the game by
01:21either team.
01:22And it happens while the Niners were trailing by five. They get the two-point conversion as well.
01:28They flip the game on the road in the fourth quarter in Seattle where the 12s are too hard to
01:34play, and the Niners pass the test that basically we set out for them.
01:41This was the one. And so now, I think you're fair as a 49er fan, not to start talking Super
01:49Bowl in the month of October, but to start thinking about, like, I don't really see what roadblock other than,
01:57like, life and injuries and ball bounces.
02:01In other words, like, there's no opponent right now where I'd be like, ooh, I don't think the Niners can
02:06handle that.
02:07If they can do what they did yesterday, then, quite frankly, they're equipped to do just about anything that the
02:14NFL has to offer at this point.
02:16Well, you face a good defense, and you're able to get it done without really doing much offensively, and I'm
02:22just going back through the game, and, you know, Brock Purdy didn't even have 100 yards until he got to
02:27that last drive where they went down the field painstakingly, and you talked about a 74-yard drive.
02:33It really was a 94-yard drive because you lost 10, and then you lost 10, if not 11, later
02:40on the intentional grounding.
02:41So when you add up all of the yards and stuff, and Kyle, in that cut you played coming back,
02:46you talked about a 12-play drive, and it was that, and it turned out to be 94 yards gained
02:52because you had to get 94 yards because you lost 20.

02:57Dude, he's a dog. That's all I could say. Like, he fights through stuff. He's competitive as heck,
03:02and he's going to go out there and obviously give the team every chance or everything that he's got, even
03:07if he's going through stuff.
03:08So, I mean, we saw that, obviously, the last couple weeks with him playing sort of injured, and even today,
03:13I mean, it's early in the season.
03:13Like, for a guy like him and where he's at in his career to keep showing up for the team,
03:17man, and myself and being out there, man, it's just a testament to his character and who he is, man.
03:22So, extremely blessed to have him on our team and excited for the rest of the year together.
03:25So, that was Brock Purdy on Mike Evans. This is Brock Purdy on, yeah, again, Mike Evans.
03:30He's a game-changer. True ex-receiver that, you know, if you get the right look and stuff and you
03:34give him a chance, he can make defenses pay.
03:36You know, I thought today he did a great job with that, going up and getting the ball multiple times
03:39and just using his length and everything, too, to create some separation and stuff.
03:43So, as a quarterback, man, like, anytime I have an opt to go to him, I'm like, it always feels
03:46good.
03:46You know, he came in the clutch for us there at the end, the beginning of the game, the third
03:50down conversion, the touchdown.
03:51Like, he's a baller, man. He's a Hall of Famer, obviously.

04:07The first catch from Evans was on the first and 20, and he goes over the middle between the hash
04:13marks, even though he's got whatever ribs, broken, fractured, bruised, all of the above, and he gets it.
04:20And the defender comes from behind him and just, pop, hits him right in the ribs, and he catches it,
04:25he holds on, he goes down, and he's clearly in a lot of pain, but doesn't show it, just gets
04:30up, flip the ball to the ref, and back to the huddle.

04:33Just on a human level, all of us feel the pain that Mike Evans has been in the last few

05:21on your team, you've probably watched more of him than other people who don't have him on fantasy.
05:26But being a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs, you probably aren't super locked in.
05:30He's not that, quote, flashy.
05:33He doesn't lead the league in anything ever, but other than games played, he tends to play every game up
05:39until last year.
05:40And you look at the totality of his career and you think, all right, great career, great receiver, first ballot
05:45Hall of Famer.
05:46Sure.
05:46But when he comes here, you're thinking, well, he's a little bit older and he's coming off a year where
05:51he missed half the games.
05:53I don't know, substation, he probably is going to be winding down.
