00:27:05Pendulum-like momentum can swing on the power play.
00:27:07And down by one, this is where you can get back to even.
00:27:10And they're jammed up, and they battle for it along the boards.
00:27:17Ducks with the puck now.
00:27:21Kreider.
00:27:22Kreider!

00:27:29And he answers with a lightning-quick glove hand to shut the door.
00:27:32So just moments away here as gets set to resume this one.
00:27:37And the penalty kill continues.
00:27:39The draw is won, and they take possession.

00:28:28Well, the goaltender did everything right.
00:28:30Came out, challenged, had the angle, but that shot was just too hard.
00:28:34He got a piece of his equipment, and still went in the net.
00:28:51Midpoint just around the corner.
00:28:54You can feel the energy in this crowd.
00:28:56It's a tie game.

00:29:59Nice read by Carlson.
00:30:04And that's scooped up by Harris.
00:30:07Quickly up to Smith.
00:30:09Ease the puck across to Petrano.

00:30:30As the whistle blows.
00:30:32Soderbloom's come up with a massive stop on that last sequence.
00:30:35When you look at this again here on the replay, you can see that's a dangerous chance in tight.
00:30:39And he is just so composed and is able to make an outstanding save to keep it out.
00:30:47Here come the center iceman.
00:30:49Bucket to bucket.
00:30:50Eyeball to eyeball.
00:30:52For this face-off.
00:30:55Offensive zone face-off is won.
00:30:59And he quickly goes to Marchment.
00:31:03Anaheim's relentlessness pays off.
00:31:04They have it now.
00:31:06Loose puck and now a race to get there.
00:31:08And the linesman blows the whistle.
00:31:10And that's an icing.
00:31:11And the play is dead.
00:31:22Face-off is won in the offensive zone.
00:31:25Winning that draw means they can put the pressure on after that icing call.
00:31:34Here's a chance.
00:31:36Out the stick in the flex line.
00:31:38Lots of pressure in the zone.

00:33:20Delayed penalty.
00:33:21That looked like a slash.
00:33:23There's the whistle.
00:33:24Seemed pretty obvious.
00:33:26But here's the official announcement.
00:33:28Well, that's a blatant slash.
00:33:30Ooh, that's going to leave a mark two on the opposition.
00:33:32But in the meantime, he's headed into the penalty box.
00:33:34That's two minutes.
00:33:50Ozone faceoff.
00:33:51About to begin.
00:33:53Another power play opportunity here.
00:33:55Yeah, and when the power play hasn't scored yet, that can be frustrating.
00:33:58They just need to make some adjustments and take the opportunities that are given.
00:34:01Let's see how they respond.
00:34:04D'Angelo.
00:34:08Marchman.
00:34:09Touched away with the blocker.
00:34:12The crew have the puck on the attack now.
00:34:15Whistle blows and we're offside.

00:35:30What a save.
00:35:51Practice, practice, practice.
00:35:52You got to work at it.
00:35:53You need good hands.
00:35:55You need good hand-eye coordination to be able to deflect these ones past the goaltender at that speed.
00:36:12The crew have said they like playing with the lead much more like any team.
00:36:17But it fits their style.
00:36:18And they lead by one with the go-ahead pally.
00:36:21Quickly up to Harris.
00:36:26Smith passes it off.
00:36:28Smith passes it off.
00:36:29Makes the save.
00:36:30Dostal has been rock solid tonight.
00:36:32And when you look at that save percentage, it tells the story.
00:36:35He's seen plenty of rubber.
00:36:36And with this game this tight, those saves are giving his group a chance.
00:36:40The crew have gained control along the wall.
00:36:46He's to Dinoff.

00:58:51Faceoff coming up here, and down by one.
00:58:53They're shortening the bench and loading up the scoring lines.

00:59:29Draw one in their own end.
00:59:30Quick dish to Lorenz.
00:59:34Streaking in!
00:59:35Sends it over!
00:59:37And he doesn't get the shot off.
00:59:39He was in alone, but he just couldn't execute the finish.
00:59:43Can't handle that pass.
00:59:48Just missed that connection.
00:59:50Nice deflection.
00:59:52Micaiah.
00:59:54And he quickly goes to Lorenz.
01:00:02And we are down to one minute to go now, in the third.
01:00:05Block in front.
01:00:07Never saw that one coming.
01:00:09Both checked away from the defender.
01:00:13Gauthier!
01:00:14Here's the pass.
01:00:16The crew have control of the puck now.
01:00:21Anaheim's got the puck back along the boards.
01:00:23And he moves it right to Granlund.
01:00:26Picked up by Chisholm.
01:00:28The Ducks have pulled their goalie.
01:00:29And they're looking for the equalizer.
01:00:32Got a piece of him there.
01:00:35Whistle blows!
01:00:36And we have it offside.
01:00:41A timeout here in the second period.
01:00:43They've got a tired group in a tightly contested game.
01:00:47Yeah, this is just about getting their legs back.
01:00:49Catching a breath.
01:00:50And making sure they finish this period strong.
01:00:53Players getting into position.
01:00:55Getting ready for this next faceoff.
01:00:57Quickly up to Harris.
01:01:00He brings it along the wall.
01:01:03The crew have picked it up along the boards.
01:01:09Whimps!
01:01:10Scooped up by Zari.
01:01:12Goalie pulled.
01:01:13Extra attacker on.
01:01:14And here they come.
01:01:16The Ducks have picked it up in the defensive zone.
01:01:20Anaheim's got it along the boards.
01:01:23Nice poe check there by Nyquist.
01:01:27Whistle blows.
01:01:28That's an icing.
01:01:30Faceoff at the other end.
01:01:35Final minutes ticking away in this period.
01:01:383-2 in this contest.
01:01:44And there's the horn.
01:01:46Putting this one in the books.
01:01:48It is a final.
01:01:51Harris, sometimes they say the best defense is a good offense.
01:01:54And when you have the puck more than the other team, that's a good way to play D.
01:01:57Well, that's a lot of rubber.
01:01:59And when you put that kind of pressure on a team too, Bucci, they can't get the puck.
01:02:03They can't go back and retrieve because all they're doing is turning, spinning, chasing.
01:02:08And so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
01:02:11On this night, it certainly worked.
01:02:13Well, another exciting night.
01:02:14Another one in the books.
01:02:16For Darren Pang and everybody at EA Sports, I'm John Butchergrass.
