00:00So outside of my role as puppet painter, one of the things I was able to do was come up
00:05with the colors for Alexandra's dresses as she moves through the movie.
00:10It's this progression of reds. As her story moves forward, without any spoilers, you kind of just see these blacks
00:17kind of start creeping up in the reds of the dresses.
00:20She's at a point where she's so grief stricken and deconstructed and broken down emotionally. And the dress reflects that.
00:28The dress builds that part of the story.
00:30Her fabric is dyed with a motif. And then we have laser etching within the velvet, as well as laser
00:37etched pieces, decals that go onto it.
00:41Once it has all been put together, we then embroider the entire piece with this metallic thread to see some
00:47glimmer within it.
00:48We also have chain mail that we stitch within the costume to give it this natural hang.
00:55And then she has some moss taken from the forest as well within her costume, too.
