00:00The optimism about AI in the United States is about half that of China, Southeast Asia, many other parts of
00:07the world.
00:08And as somebody, my father was a physicist at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, I grew up in Silicon Valley.
00:13The notion that in America, which has really been the center of innovation, you see that kind of anxiety or
00:19lack of optimism is concerning.
00:21I think it comes to a number of things.
00:23One, the downside, it has to be super clear.
00:26Downside has to be protected before people even want to open their thinking to what is the upside opportunity.
00:32But then when you start looking at what it can mean, a couple of examples.
00:36What we're already seeing with small businesses and entrepreneurs is really exciting.
00:40This is a time where entrepreneurs are saying, if you have an idea, you can get really turbocharged by leveraging
00:47technology, reaching customers more rapidly, having visibility on every element of how to run the business.
00:53More than 80% of small businesses who use AI are saying they are already seeing an uplift in revenues
00:59and in earnings.
01:01What we're seeing in health already, oftentimes the application of this amazing technology to health is spoken about in the
01:08context of what will happen in our lifetime.
01:11We need to back it up and make it really clear.
01:13It's actually happening here today.
