Delhi Police issued two notices barring Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke from heading towards Central Park in Connaught Place under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita. Authorities cited that previous court undertakings bound individuals against creating unrest, noting that associates Saurabh Das and Ashutosh Ranka remain in five-day judicial custody at Tihar Jail over compliance violations. Amid calls for a national flag unfurling march, heavy security deployment and barricading cordoned off the Connaught Place Inner Circle, with police buses stationed to carry out detentions if unauthorised gatherings assemble. While metro stations and surrounding roads remain operational, demonstrators and supporters arrived independently despite the absence of core leadership on the ground. Local traders and shop owners expressed concern over potential disruptions, even as attendees asserted their gathering remained peaceful.

00:00Delhi police has given two notices to Abhijit Dipke.
00:04One has been given by the Delhi Police and under the Delhi Police Act
00:09has been told not to come to Central Park, Section 163 applicable.
00:14The second notice has been given by the Southwest Delhi Police Section
00:17where Abhijit Dipke has been told that the three were bound down
00:22when they were taken into preventive custody from the airport.
00:25They were presented in the court.
00:26The court had asked them not to create unrest for the next one year.
00:31And the reason that Ranka and Sauravdas are in Tihar jail right now
00:34in 5-D judicial custody is because they had violated the norms.
00:38So that's the latest that has happened.
00:40Visuals on your screen was Abhijit Dipke sitting with the Tiranga
00:43at his residence and with police around him.
00:46Let's listen in first.
00:51Tiranga Lehera had a call for the Delhi Police.
01:18So it will be interesting if Dipke is not coming,
01:21Sauravdasan Ashutosh Rangka is not coming because they're in Tihar,
01:24who is leading this protest, who is the face of this protest then
01:27and will mainstream opposition parties join in?
01:29Preeti, so that's the question that I was asking.
01:31At a point like this, it's going to be a faceless, leader-less protest
01:35in the sense that main three leaders are likely to not be here.
01:38But I find it interesting, the voices that you're getting asked,
01:41very confident, they believe in their cause, they are there.
01:43But they're being allowed to also stand and hoist the Tiranga.
01:46So what is the strategy of the Delhi Police here?
01:52They're not being allowed to hoist the Tiranga where the call has been made for.
01:55The call has been made for the inner circle.
01:57Right now, I am, that is the inner circle.
02:00And the inner circle has been barricaded like I showed you, Puja, from all sides.
02:04And there's a fortification of the inner circle is there.
02:07Can you see this Tiranga right there?
02:08Now, that is, you know, the spot where Dipke and all the other CJP supporters
02:15were planning to march till and stand there and unfurl the Tiranga.
02:19Nobody's allowed to enter the inner circle.
02:21So, no, they are not being allowed.
02:22Once again, you know, I said there is a sense of, you know, unease
02:27because, yes, the metro stations are open, but the kind of police force,
02:32if you see, buses have been parked all on the sides of the inner circle.
02:36So, if there is an attempt by those who come here to unfurl the Tiranga,
02:42then they will be detained and these buses are standing here for exactly that very purpose.
02:50So, are we looking at things coming to a head right now?
02:54We don't know.
02:55But it's different because no roads are blocked.
02:58I came in right through, you know, there is public transport.
03:02All metro stations are open.
03:04All roads are open.
03:05And you can actually see people coming in, you know, and gathering,
03:10which is seemingly not in coherence with BNS 163.
03:16And you can see the kind of large crowds that have already gathered here.
03:20But I'll give you a sense, you know, and also continue to get our viewers' reaction from people
03:25because earlier on there was a sense that the inner circle has been shut.
03:30And shop owners have constantly spoken of the losses they've made.
03:35There was a contingent of those who supported the CJP and the cause who were speaking with them earlier,
03:42telling them that we haven't asked the Delhi police or the administration to shut down CP.
03:48We have come here peacefully.
03:50We are not harming your business.
03:52Now, Preeti, no leader, no face, no big spokesperson, and yet people are coming in.
03:57How will it go about?
03:58Will they stand there for a while?
03:59Will they want to barge into the Central Park?
04:05We don't know whether there will be no leader.
04:08I think a lot of people have come, and you heard those voices.
04:11We're going to continue to get our viewers more voices as well.
04:14A lot of people have come in of their own volition.
04:17They resonate with the cause, not so much with the CJP, at least till now.
04:22And it doesn't matter to them, I feel, at least the ones we've spoken to now, Pooja.
04:27But we don't know whether Abhiji Dipke will come or not.
04:31Yes, he signed that bond by the Delhi police, but we don't know whether he's going to come or not.
04:36The likes of Anish Gawande, the likes of other leaders, Ajankya Shinde,
04:40who was handed the reins on the 10th of October to carry on the protest once Dipke, Saurav Das, and
04:47Ashutosh Ranka were detained.
04:49So there will be contingents that will be marching to the inner circle of the Karnat place.
04:53What one can, you know, fairly correlate and understand is that even now things are completely peaceful.
05:02Though crowds are now building up, we will see some amount of friction.
05:07Keep tracking. I want to come back to you in just a short while.
05:09Stay on with me.
05:10Preeti is giving us a sentiment of what this is looking like.
05:12But importantly, who will give direction to this protest if most of the leaders are awake?
