In this scene, Klaus Mikaelson is met by a woman standing before him in an unfamiliar body. Despite her altered appearance, Klaus looks closely into her eyes and immediately recognizes her as his sister, Rebekah Mikaelson. At this point in the storyline, Rebekah had been trapped in the body of a witch named Eva Sinclair due to a body-jumping spell orchestrated by the witch coven and ancestral magic in New Orleans. Even though she looks entirely different to everyone else, Klaus’s bond with his sister allows him to see right past the physical vessel, recognizing her instantly by her presence and speaking her name with quiet certainty.
