00:00Spain's National Police deployed more than 350 officers on Sunday to dismantle the main
00:05migrant encampments, still operating in Ceuta nearly three months after mass arrivals from
00:11Morocco on July 30 and 31. The operation began early in the morning and covered several locations
00:18including Poblado Regulares, the former Tarahal warehouses and the Ibica Camp near the temporary
00:23stay center for immigrants. Police established shape points around the affected areas and
00:29organized transfers by bus. Adults were taken to the temporary Foreigners Assistance Center for
00:35identification, registration and initial assessment while minors were transferred to police headquarters
00:41to complete the required procedures. The operation follows measures announced by Spain's Interior
00:46Ministry to end the presence of migrants living in the streets and wooded areas across the city.
00:52However, dismantling the camps does not necessarily resolve the humanitarian situation. The next steps
00:58for those displaced will depend on administrative procedures and the availability of places in
01:04reception facilities.
