00:14In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:19We acknowledge our sins, we acknowledge the love and the mercy of God.
00:24Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins,
00:33and lead us into healing and life everlasting. Let us pray.
00:40Amen. Almighty, ever-living God, grant that we may always conform our will to yours and serve you in sincerity
00:47of heart.
00:48Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
00:54God, forever and ever. Amen.
00:58A reading from the letter of St. Paul to the Ephesians.
01:03You were dead through the crimes and the sins in which you used to live when you were following the
01:10way of this world,
01:12obeying the rulers who govern the air, the spirit who is at work in the rebellious.
01:18We all were among them, too, in the past, living sensual lives, ruled entirely by our own physical desires and
01:28our own ideas.
01:29So the world, as the rest of the world, our God loves us with so much love that he was
01:38generous with his mercy.
01:39When we were dead through our sins, he brought us to life with Christ.
01:44It is through grace that you have been saved and raised up with him, and yet there is a place
01:52with him in heaven in Christ Jesus.
01:56This was to show for all ages to come, through his goodness towards us in Christ Jesus, how infinitely rich
02:04he is in grace,
02:06because it is by grace that you have been saved through the faith, not by anything of your own, but
02:14by the gift from God,
02:15not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit.
02:20We are God's work of art, created in Christ Jesus, who lived a good life as from the beginning he
02:27had meant us to live it.
02:29The word of the Lord, thanks be to God, the Lord made us, we belong to him, the Lord made
02:36us, we belong to him.
02:38Try out with joy to the Lord, O the earth, serve the Lord with gladness, come before him, sing it
02:44for joy, the Lord made us, we belong to him.
02:48Know that here the Lord is God, he made us, we belong to him.
02:52We are his people, the sheep of his flock.
02:55The Lord made us, we belong to him.
02:59Go within his gates, giving thanks, enter his courts with songs of praise, give thanks to him and bless his
03:06name.
03:07The Lord made us, we belong to him.
03:10Indeed, how good is the Lord, eternal, his merciful love, he is faithful from age to age.
03:17The Lord made us, we belong to him.
03:20Alleluia, alleluia.
03:22Happy to be poor in spirit, the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
03:26Alleluia.
03:29The Lord be with you.
03:31A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke.
03:35Glory to you, O Lord.
03:37A man in the crowd said to Jesus,
03:40Master, tell my brother to give me a share of our inheritance.
03:44My friend, he replied, who appointed me your judge, or the arbitrator of your claims.
03:51Then he said to them, watch and be on your guard against avarice of any kind,
03:56for a man's life is not made secure by what he owns, even when he has more than he needs.
04:04Then he told them a parable.
04:06There was once a rich man, who having had a good harvest from the land,
04:11thought to himself, what am I to do?
04:13I have not enough room to store my crops.
04:16Then he said, this is what I will do.
04:19I will pull down my barns and build bigger ones, and store all my grain and my goods in them.
04:24And I will say to my soul, my soul, you've had plenty of good things,
04:30like for many years to come.
04:32Take things easy, eat, drink, have a good time.
04:37But God said to him, food, this very night you demand will be made for your soul.
04:43And this part of yours, whose will it be then?
04:46So it is when one stores up treasure for themselves in place of making themselves rich in the sight of
04:54God.
04:56The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
04:59Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
05:03Yes, I suppose Jesus is warning us to be ready any time to meet God.
05:08To be ready to say, here I am, Lord.
05:11So it's a reminder to look at our lives and see what needs healing, what needs adjustments,
05:18what relationships need mending.
05:21So we come before the Lord saying, here I am, Lord.
05:25I choose what is right and not what is easy.
05:28The temptation is to excuse ourselves, oh, that's how I am, that's me, I'm not perfect.
05:35Well, we are called to grow, not to be mediocre.
05:39That's our potential.
05:40It's our freedom, it's for our benefit, which may sound high, but it's about liberation.
05:46It's about being who we are meant to be.
05:50So, Lord, give me the grace to wake up.
05:53Spirituality is about waking up and not being trapped in pettiness, in entrapments.
06:02The word of God, the word of God, the amazing love of God, sets us free.
06:08Here I am, Lord.
06:10I choose to be your will.
06:16Blessed are you, Lord, God of all creation.
06:19For to your goodness we have this bread to offer, which earth has given, human hands have made.
06:25It will become for us the bread of life.
06:28Blessed be God forever.
06:29By the mystery of this water and wine, may we come to share in the divinity of Christ, who has
06:38given himself to share in our humanity.
06:45Blessed are you, Lord, God of all creation.
06:48For to your goodness we have this wine to offer, fruit of divine work of human hands.
06:54It will become a spiritual dream.
06:57Blessed be God forever.
07:09Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, our Almighty Father.
07:16May the Lord accept this sacrifice at our hands for the praise and glory of God's name for our good
07:23and the good of God's holy church.
07:29Grant us, Lord, we pray a sincere respect for your gifts, that through the purifying action of your grace, we
07:36may be cleansed by the very mysteries we serve.
07:39Through Christ our Lord.
07:41Amen.
07:43The Lord be with you.
07:45Lift up your hearts.
07:48Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:53It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere, to give you thanks, Father most
08:00holy, to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ,
08:04your word to whom you made all things, whom you sent as our Saviour and Redeemer,
08:09incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin.
08:13Fulfilling your will and gaining for you a holy people, he stretched out his hands as he endured his passion,
08:20so as to break the bonds of death and manifest the resurrection.
08:25And so, with the angels and all the saints, we declare your glory, as with one voice we acclaim,
08:32holy, holy, holy, holy Lord, God of hosts, heaven and earth are full of your glory,
08:39hosanna in the highest.
08:41Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, hosanna in the highest.
08:47You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of our holiness, made holy, therefore these gifts we pray,
08:53by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the body and
08:59blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
09:02At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread,
09:08and giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,
09:13Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for
09:19you.
09:27In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks,
09:34he gave it to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it,
09:39for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
09:45which will be pulled out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
10:00The mystery of faith, when we eat this bread and drink this cup,
10:05we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again.
10:10Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
10:14we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
10:19giving thanks that you've held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:25Humbly we pray that, partaking of the holy and blood of Christ,
10:29we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:33Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity,
10:38together with Leo, our Pope, me, your unworthy servant, and all the clergy.
10:45Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
10:50and all who have died in your mercy.
10:54Welcome them home into the light of your face.
10:59Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
11:04Blessed Joseph has passed, with the Blessed Apostles and all the saints who have preached you throughout the ages,
11:11we may merit to be coerced to eternal life,
11:14and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:20Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty, Father,
11:25in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours for ever and ever. Amen.
11:33At the Saviour's command and form a divine teaching, we dare to say,
11:38Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
11:42Thy kingdom come.
11:44Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
11:48Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
11:53as we forgive those who trespass against us,
11:56and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
12:01Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil.
12:04Graciously grant peace in our days,
12:07and by the help of your mercy,
12:09we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
12:12as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
12:18For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever.
12:23Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles,
12:27Peace I leave you, my peace I give you,
12:30look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church,
12:33and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
12:37who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
12:40The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
12:44Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
12:47Peace be with you all.
12:50Lamb of God,
12:52you take away the sins of the world.
12:55Have mercy on us.
12:57Lamb of God,
12:58you take away the sins of the world.
13:00Have mercy on us.
13:02Lamb of God,
13:03you take away the sins of the world.
13:06Grant us peace.
13:26Behold the Lamb of God,
13:27who takes away the sins of the world.
13:29Happy are those who are called to the supper of the Lamb.
13:33Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
13:37but only say the word,
13:39and my soul shall be healed.
13:42My Jesus,
13:44I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
13:47I love you above all things,
13:49and I desire to receive you into my soul.
13:52Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
13:55commonly, spiritually, into my heart,
13:58I embrace you as if you were already there,
14:00and unite myself wholly to you.
14:04Never permit me to be separated from you.
14:06Amen.
14:08Let us pray.
14:11Grant, O Lord, we pray,
14:12that benefiting from participation in heavenly things,
14:16you may be held by what you give in this present age,
14:20and prepared for the gifts that are eternal.
14:23Through Christ our Lord.
14:24Amen.
14:25The Lord be with you,
14:26and may the peace and the blessing of the Father,
14:29and of the Son,
14:30and of the Holy Spirit come upon you,
14:32and remain always with you.
14:33Let us go and proclaim the gospel of my own lives.
14:37May we speak to God.
14:38God bless your day.
14:45God bless your name.
