๐ŸŒฟโš”๏ธ How did Spartacus escape a Roman force guarding the only obvious route off a steep hill?

Around 73 BCE, during the Third Servile War, Spartacus and his rebels were trapped on a strong position. According to Plutarch, they twisted wild vines into ladder-like ropes, descended steep cliffs, and reached the plain below. They then circled behind the Roman troops and surprised their camp.

The famous account survives in ancient literature written long after the events, and details differ among the sources. This cinematic 3D CGI reconstruction brings the reported escape to life while keeping that historical limitation clear.
