00:00:02Roar!
00:00:04Catch!
00:00:10Roar!
00:00:12Yoma!
00:00:14Roar!
00:00:21Master this spear.
00:00:24It's yours now.
00:00:32Master, where did you go?
00:00:34Something came up.
00:00:36Caden, it's time to go home.
00:00:39You can't keep training with us.
00:00:41Did I do wrong?
00:00:45You're too weak.
00:00:46You haven't been taking training seriously, have you?
00:00:49A frost giant is hardly a real threat.
00:00:52We'd have beaten it in half the time.
00:00:55You're nowhere near a true warrior.
00:00:59I'll work twice as hard.
00:01:01Please don't send me away.
00:01:04You can train at home.
00:01:06We've taught you all we can.
00:01:08From here on, you're on your own.
00:01:17Your home is just ahead.
00:01:21Ronan gave you a weapon.
00:01:23I have a gift for you too.
00:01:32What is this?
00:01:34The Hercules Bracer.
00:01:35A master dwarf forged it with three enchantments.
00:01:39Indestructibility.
00:01:41Enhanced gravity.
00:01:42And a seal on your strength.
00:01:44It weighs fifty tons.
00:01:46It'll protect you from a fatal blow and build your physical strength.
00:01:50Don't take it off unless you have no other choice.
00:01:52Go on.
00:01:54Thank you, both of you.
00:01:55Take care.
00:01:58Rain the Thunder God.
00:01:59Silas the Trickster God.
00:02:01Why send him away so suddenly?
00:02:03Weren't we supposed to train him longer?
00:02:08The All-Father's gift has been delivered.
00:02:10He has no idea we're his brothers.
00:02:12We only trained him because Father Orion ordered us to.
00:02:15His gift for strength already surpasses ours.
00:02:17But we stay, we'll only embarrass ourselves.
00:02:19When you became that frost giant to test him, did you hold back?
00:02:22No.
00:02:22He's already as strong as a real god.
00:02:25Who put this thing in the middle of the road?
00:02:27It's in the way.
00:02:28I'll move it.
00:02:40Where's the sunstone?
00:02:42We were only gone long enough to eat.
00:02:44Was it stolen?
00:02:46Impossible.
00:02:47It's a sacred relic.
00:02:49No one but a qualified knight could move it an inch.
00:02:54Who moved the sunstone and broke it?
00:02:56Even the commander couldn't do that.
00:02:58Who in Mapleford is that powerful?
00:03:01Search the whole town.
00:03:03Find whoever did this.
00:03:05That's the person we're looking for.
00:03:07Yes, sir!
00:03:13Caden, you shouldn't have come back.
00:03:16What's wrong, Mom?
00:03:17So you finally came home.
00:03:19I've looked for you several times.
00:03:21I thought you were hiding.
00:03:22I was away for a while.
00:03:24Uncle Victor, Lydia, what brings you here?
00:03:26Don't call me uncle!
00:03:27Dad, stop.
00:03:29It's about the engagement.
00:03:31Lydia will explain.
00:03:32Caden, our family's arranged this engagement.
00:03:34I don't love you.
00:03:36I want to call it off.
00:03:37So you came to break our engagement?
00:03:40You'll never be good enough for Lydia.
00:03:42The heartwells have fallen, and with that ugly scar,
00:03:44what noblewoman would want you?
00:03:47Who knows which bastard your mother slept with to have you?
00:03:50You've tainted the bloodline!
00:03:52Break the engagement if you want.
00:03:54But don't you dare insult my mother!
00:03:57What?
00:03:58Are you going to hit me?
00:04:00Caden, stop!
00:04:10I'm a full-fledged temple knight.
00:04:12You think an ugly nobody like you can take me on?
00:04:15We'll call it off!
00:04:17Please stop!
00:04:18Don't hurt Caden!
00:04:22She shamed herself.
00:04:23Did she expect everyone to keep quiet?
00:04:25That shameless woman tainted the heartwell bloodline.
00:04:27He's a bastard!
00:04:28Caden, the temple knight's selection is in three days.
00:04:31I'll take first place and earn Commander Garrett's approval.
00:04:33Then I'll end our engagement in front of the whole town and return your token.
00:04:36Since Lydia has spoken, I'll give you a few days.
00:04:39Remember, the Wentworths could crush you both like bug.
00:04:43Caden, if you won't think of yourself, think of your mother.
00:04:51Caden, are you okay?
00:04:53I'm fine, Mom.
00:04:54Caden, if you really love Lydia, I could beg her family to reconsider.
00:04:59No. Grandfather died defending Mapleford from trolls five years ago.
00:05:03The Heartwells lost our knighthood and became commoners.
00:05:06Our families haven't been equals since.
00:05:08A Wentworth heiress would never marry someone like me.
00:05:11I'm sorry, son.
00:05:13I've put you through so much.
00:05:15Lydia and I never loved each other.
00:05:16Our families arranged it.
00:05:18I don't care if they end it.
00:05:18I care that Victor insulted and threatened you.
00:05:20Mom, I'm entering the temple knight's selection in three days.
00:05:23What?
00:05:24If you don't love Lydia, why take the knight's exam for her?
00:05:31I'm not doing it for Lydia, Mom.
00:05:33I'm doing it for us.
00:05:35Without a knight's title, the Heartwells fell from nobility.
00:05:38If I don't become a temple knight, we'll never reclaim our place.
00:05:42Without noble status, anyone can prey on us.
00:05:45The broken engagement is just the beginning.
00:05:47But you've already failed the selection twice.
00:05:50Failing before doesn't mean I'll fail again!
00:05:54Once I'm a temple knight, no one can push us around.
00:05:59Caden, you've really grown up.
00:06:02I believe in you.
00:06:05Do what you need to do.
00:06:07Don't worry, Mom.
00:06:09I'll pass this time and restore the Heartwell's honor.
00:06:13I know you will.
00:06:15Mom, I know Victor was lying, but I have to ask, who is my father?
00:06:20I don't know who he really is.
00:06:22I only saw him a handful of times.
00:06:24I only know he has one eye.
00:06:25You inherited the mark on your face from...
00:06:33Caden, you're not eligible for the exam.
00:06:36Why not? Candidates must be presentable.
00:06:39Exam Revistra, that ugly scar disqualifies you.
00:06:43I've taken this exam twice.
00:06:45That rule didn't exist!
00:06:47It didn't then.
00:06:49It does now.
00:06:51You're singling me out.
00:06:53That's right.
00:06:54I am.
00:06:55Get lost!
00:06:56You can barely hunt with that stick.
00:06:59You think you'll pass the exam?
00:07:02I'm a Heartwell.
00:07:04My grandfather died defending Mapleford.
00:07:07He was a hero.
00:07:09As his grandson, I have every right to take this exam.
00:07:12You can't stop me!
00:07:14Exam Registry.
00:07:15The Heartwoods? How pathetic.
00:07:18You lost your noble status when old Heartwood died.
00:07:20I hear your mother got pregnant by some low-born stranger and produced an ugly creak like you.
00:07:27Of course, if you insist on taking the exam, there is a way.
00:07:32My boots look a little dirty.
00:07:35Caden, admit in front of everyone that your mother is a whore.
00:07:39And you're a bastard.
00:07:42I'll let you sign up.
00:07:44Insult me all you want! Leave my mother out of it!
00:07:46What are you going to do?
00:07:48She sleeps around.
00:07:51What else would you call her?
00:07:52Hold him down!
00:08:06You can't even shake off two ordinary knights, yet you want to join the temple knights?
00:08:11You couldn't kill a rabbit with that stick.
00:08:14You!
00:08:15You!
00:08:33Lord Victor Wentworth.
00:08:35Lady Lydia.
00:08:36And young Lord Damien Blackwood.
00:08:38I've brought Lydia and Damien for the selection.
00:08:41Commander Garrett and I are close.
00:08:43He entrusted Damien to my care.
00:08:45I heard Victor offered up his own daughter to get on Garrett's good side.
00:08:49So the rumors were true.
00:08:51Lady Lydia and Lord Damien are both gifted knights.
00:08:54I'm sure they'll pass with ease.
00:08:56Of course they will.
00:08:59Caden, I know you don't want to lose me, but coming here was foolish.
00:09:03You can't even register, and now you're pinned to the ground.
00:09:06Commoners are allowed to take the exam.
00:09:08It isn't just for nobles.
00:09:10That's what the rules say.
00:09:12But people make the rules.
00:09:14And rules don't run this world.
00:09:17So you're Lydia's fiancé, Caden.
00:09:20Just as I thought.
00:09:21That filthy common blood is revolting.
00:09:24I can practically smell you.
00:09:27What are you waiting for?
00:09:29This ugly lowborn insect has no right to take the exam.
00:09:32Throw him out!
00:09:35You can't do this!
00:09:37It's against the rules!
00:09:47In Orion's name, we salute the Temple Knights!
00:09:50May they conquer every foe and be honored forever!
00:09:54Rise!
00:10:00Please!
00:10:01What's going on here?
00:10:03Uncle!
00:10:04Vice-Commander Elliot!
00:10:05This lowborn commoner thinks he can take Zam.
00:10:09Throw him out.
00:10:12Yes, sir.
00:10:14Commander, wait.
00:10:15Let him take the exam.
00:10:17No rule bars commoners from the Temple Knights' selection.
00:10:20You heard the vice, Commander.
00:10:22Let him go.
00:10:31I'll register him right away.
00:10:34Uncle, why did you let Loser Caden take the exam?
00:10:37Elliot insisted.
00:10:39He's always been stubborn.
00:10:40He's just a lowborn nobody.
00:10:42Why bother with him?
00:10:43The exam has to look fair.
00:10:45Besides, taking it may not be good for a loser like him.
00:10:49Uncle, you mean...
00:10:51Since you hate him over Livia, find a chance to finish him during the exam.
00:10:55You're right, Uncle.
00:10:59You're dead.
00:11:00You're dead.
00:11:06Begin.
00:11:08The Temple Knights' selection begins now!
00:11:11First test.
00:11:12Soul strength.
00:11:17Strange.
00:11:18This stone looks just like the one I moved three days ago.
00:11:21Except there's a crack down the middle.
00:11:22This is the Sunstone, the holiest relic in Orion's Temple.
00:11:26Legend says the Valkyrie herself blessed it.
00:11:29Why is such a big crack in it?
00:11:31I thought the Sunstone was indestructible.
00:11:33It will measure your soul's strength.
00:11:34The stronger your soul, the greater your potential as a knight.
00:11:38Have you found whoever broke the Sunstone?
00:11:40I'm sorry, Commander. Not yet.
00:11:42Expand the search.
00:11:44We have to find that, Pragy, or we'll have no answer for the Pope when we return to the Temple.
00:11:49I'll go first.
00:11:50First candidate.
00:11:51Vekrin Victor's daughter, Lydia.
00:12:02Lydia.
00:12:03Soul strength, exceptional.
00:12:05That has to be the best score today!
00:12:07No doubt about it!
00:12:08Impressive.
00:12:09Lydia is gifted.
00:12:11She and Damien would make a fine match.
00:12:13Commander.
00:12:14Is Lydia already engaged to Damien?
00:12:17Not yet.
00:12:19She will be soon.
00:12:22Nathaniel, fail.
00:12:25Viscount Alden's son, Miles, passed.
00:12:28Next candidate, Damien!
00:12:30Watch closely, Ugly.
00:12:32I'll show you what a real Temple Knight looks like.
00:12:42Damien!
00:12:43Soul strength, exceptional!
00:12:47Unbelievable!
00:12:48I think you'll opt for it!
00:12:49Sure, the Madding, and today we've seen two!
00:12:51No wonder they both scored it to Garrett's nephew!
00:12:53Commander Garrett, Damien is a credit to the Blackwoods. He clearly inherited your remarkable gift as a knight!
00:12:58Your daughter is just as gifted.
00:13:02How did the test feel, Damien?
00:13:04Easy. No challenge at all. Can't say the same for everyone. You came all this way just to embarrass yourself,
00:13:10loser. Let's see your score. If you fail the first round, you might as well drop dead.
00:13:14Final candidate, Caden!
00:13:17I heard he's failed twice already. This is his third try.
00:13:20He just isn't knight material. He's only here to embarrass himself again.
00:13:26Caden, this is your third time standing here.
00:13:29I'll give it everything I've got.
00:13:30Confidence is good, but face the facts. You only get three tries in your lifetime. This is your last chance.
00:13:35Go on.
00:13:42How can anyone have a soul that powerful? That lowborn couldn't do this!
00:13:46No! It can't be!
00:13:48That's Yggdrasil, the World Tree!
00:13:55How can that loser have such a powerful soul? He cheated! He tricked the Sunstone somehow!
00:14:09As I thought, Caden is still a failure. I don't know what trick he used, but his soul only just
00:14:15meets the minimum.
00:14:19So it was a false alarm. Maybe the crack caused a bad reading.
00:14:22I knew it! He failed twice before! How could he have a soul that strong? The Sunstone must have malfunctioned!
00:14:29No mortal could have a soul that powerful!
00:14:31I knew something was off. I've never seen power like that in my life.
00:14:34For a second, I thought I was looking at a god.
00:14:49A pass is all I need. Now I can move on to the next round.
00:15:04Elliot, what happened? Why did the Sunstone shatter?
00:15:09I don't know. Maybe that prodigy damaged it.
00:15:13A sacred relic?
00:15:14How could it break so easily?
00:15:16Some relic. Pretty shoddy work ship.
00:15:19Maybe it was already damaged. After all those tests, it finally gave out.
00:15:24Good thing it broke now. Any earlier and they'd have postponed or cancelled the selection.
00:15:30That's true.
00:15:32It's split in two. So much for their sacred relit.
00:15:37Elliot, it was a holy relic. We're both responsible for its destruction here. Finding the Praji who broke it might
00:15:44save us.
00:15:45I'll do everything I can to find them, Commander.
00:15:51Continue the selection.
00:15:55Round one is over! Round two! Run-ons!
00:16:02The All-Father Orion created the runes as a way to harness magic. They're more than letters. They channel power.
00:16:10The more you command, the stronger your magic.
00:16:18I'll go first.
00:16:21Very well. Lydia, daughter of Vice-Count Victor, you're first.
00:16:5315 runes. Lydia's magic score.
00:16:5615 runes. Lydia's magic score.
00:16:58Outstanding!
00:17:02Impressive. 15 runes. She's almost as good at magic as I was at her age.
00:17:07Victor, you've raised an extraordinary daughter.
00:17:09I had no idea Lydia was this gifted at magic.
00:17:17Lydia, congratulations. An outstanding score.
00:17:19I surprised myself, honestly.
00:17:22My masters told me there are 24 runes. Even mastering 20 is only the start of real magic.
00:17:31Next! Commander Garrett's nephew, Damien!
00:17:46Is that...
00:17:47That looks like the legendary Bloodfire art!
00:17:50They say it sacrifices your blood to the runes and greatly boosts their power!
00:17:53It's a rare, dangerous art. I can't believe Damien knows it!
00:17:58Bloodfire.
00:18:00I didn't know Damien had learned it.
00:18:04Neither did I.
00:18:15Damien commands 15 runes. Magic score, outstanding!
00:18:21Unbelievable! Another outstanding score!
00:18:23Even with Bloodfire, channeling 15 runes at once takes exceptional talent!
00:18:27Commander Garrett, Damien commands 15 runes too. His talent rivals Lydia's!
00:18:3215. Passable, I suppose.
00:18:36Bloodfire is dangerous. Use it too much, and the damage could be permanent.
00:18:42Caden, I can't wait to see you make a fool of yourself. You won't get lucky twice.
00:18:47The magic barrier can't malfunction like the Sunstone.
00:18:50Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
00:18:53I got lucky last time. This time I need to give it everything.
00:18:56Next! Caden!
00:18:58Caden only passed because the Sunstone malfunctioned!
00:19:01This is a rune test! No relic can bail him out now!
00:19:04Right! He should just quit!
00:19:06A loser is a loser. Nothing he does will change that.
00:19:10Wait!
00:19:13What?
00:19:14Caden, quit while you can. I know you.
00:19:17You can't pass this magic test. Walk away now and keep your dignity.
00:19:22Fail, and you'll lose both face and our engagement.
00:19:25If that's all you have to say, save your breath.
00:19:28I'm trying to help you! Why won't you listen?
00:19:32Lydia, if this fool wants to humiliate himself, let him.
00:19:37What's he doing?
00:19:38No idea. Those bracers look heavy. Has he worn them through the whole selection?
00:19:42Commanders! Do you know what those are?
00:19:45The bracers look heavy, but what does that have to do with a magic test?
00:19:49What if they're enchanted? Enchanted? What do you mean?
00:19:52Only dwarf master smiths can forge gear like that. I've heard they made weapons for the gods.
00:19:57You think Caden's bracers came from one of them?
00:20:01There's a long-lost training bracer only the eldest dwarf masters can make. Its magic increases gravity. They say the
00:20:06gods use it to train their young.
00:20:08Caden is just a broke former noble. How could he be a god?
00:20:11Exactly. If he were a god, why did he almost fail the first round?
00:20:14You're right. I must have misread it. Caden's still putting on a show. Does he think taking off his bracer
00:20:20will make him pass?
00:20:21It only makes me respect him less.
00:20:40The Allfather created only 24 rudens in all. He drew every single one? Caden's command of runes is that strong?
00:20:48Have we underestimated him this whole time? Was he hiding his power?
00:20:52That magic is terrifying! Look! The barrier's about to shatter!
00:20:56By the Allfather! We were all wrong about Caden!
00:20:59All 24 runes! His mastery of magic is far beyond the commander's and mine!
00:21:04No. Impossible. How could a mortal command all 24 runes?
00:21:08No mortal could master every rune. Unless he isn't mortal. He's a god.
00:21:18The old legend is true. Master all 24 runes and you can call on divine power. That's the bridge between
00:21:24Asgard and our world. The Bifrost!
00:21:34What's going on?
00:21:36I took off the bracer. Why can I only summon six runes? This isn't my true strength. Were my masters
00:21:42right? Am I still nowhere near being a true warrior?
00:21:46I thought Caden was some once-in-a-lifetime genius. What a letdown.
00:21:49Why does he get everyone's hopes up?
00:21:51Maybe he tried to cheat again and failed. That sounds right. What else explains this mess?
00:21:55We were wrong. No one can really control all 24 runes.
00:21:59Commanders! Caden cheated! Why else make such a show only to summon six runes?
00:22:03Right. He must be punished or this whole selection becomes a joke!
00:22:06We can't let cheating slo-
00:22:07Lord Victor, what do you propose?
00:22:09Disqualify him!
00:22:11That seems fair.
00:22:12It's settled! Caden is disqualified from the selection!
00:22:18Commander, without proof of cheating, disqualifying him would be unfair. The crowd won't accept it.
00:22:23Fine. We'll let him off this time.
00:22:27See Lydia? Caden tried to cheat and botched it. That's all he's capable of.
00:22:31Maybe he thought it would save our engagement. He's only embarrassed me.
00:22:34Caden! Written result, 24 sacred runes, mythical grade. Actual result, 6 runes activated, barely passing.
00:22:43Didn't Caden remove the Hercules bracer? Why is his power still sealed?
00:22:48The dwarf who made it told me he'd been drinking. He botched the seal. It lasts 10 minutes after the
00:22:53bracer comes off.
00:22:54Why didn't you tell Caden sooner?
00:22:56We left in a hurry. I forgot.
00:22:58Good thing this is only an exam, not a battlefield. That commander is openly hostile to Caden.
00:23:03If father hadn't forbidden us from revealing his birth, he wouldn't have to take an exam just to serve father
00:23:08as a temple knight.
00:23:09It's part of Caden's training. We can't pretend to understand the All-Father's wisdom. He gave the order for a
00:23:14reason.
00:23:14Look who's back! Caden, the genius who supposedly mastered all 24 runes.
00:23:19Your mother slept with a commoner and gave you his dirty blood and his rotten habits. Selfishness and deceit!
00:23:24Caden, cheating is disgraceful.
00:23:27I didn't cheat. I fooled no one. My power is real. But even after removing the bracer, I still can't
00:23:33use it.
00:23:33Something's wrong with it. My masters must be hiding something.
00:23:37Round three of the temple knight selection.
00:23:40Combat! A knight needs a strong soul, powerful magic, and skill in a fight. And the opponent you'll face is...
00:23:52That...
00:23:55This is a frost wolf. I'm sure you've heard of them. A frost wolf. I hear they're vicious.
00:24:03You know about them, Damien?
00:24:05My uncle told me. Frost giants tame them. A grown frost wolf can overwhelm an entire company of temple knights
00:24:12and destroy a city on its own.
00:24:16That's terrifying. We're supposed to fight it? We'd be walking to our deaths.
00:24:21Damien is right. You can't defeat it as you are. Our pistes and knights lost over a dozen people, capturing
00:24:29it alive.
00:24:30Even a minute won't be easy.
00:24:32It was badly injured when captured. It's not at full strength. So it's wounded.
00:24:39That changes things.
00:24:41This round can still kill you. You may use any weapon or withdraw. If you withdraw, I'll teleport you out
00:24:49at once.
00:24:50But if you fall before the minute is up, you fail. It's dangerous. I'll go first.
00:24:57But that's a huge risk.
00:24:59Don't worry. I can handle it.
00:25:02Come back safe.
00:25:04I will.
00:25:09It's just an animal, not a real frost giant. What's everyone so scared of?
00:25:14Begin!
00:25:21Come on, beast.
00:25:22Come on, beast.
00:25:39One minute is up. Damien passes the combat test.
00:25:43Next! Next!
00:25:44Next!
00:25:46Congratulations, Commander.
00:25:47Damien's skill made the third round look easy.
00:25:49Lydia is no ordinary fighter either.
00:25:52It will be hard, but she can manage.
00:25:54You've got this.
00:25:55It's strong, but keep moving, and a minute will pass before you know it.
00:25:58Got it.
00:26:03Kaden, the frost wolf is beyond you. Withdraw before you get killed.
00:26:07Thanks for caring. But I know my limits.
00:26:11That's all I have to say. The choice is yours.
00:26:14A fool like you would be better off dead. I don't know why Lydia bothered warning you.
00:26:28That's frostbreath! Lydia, dodge!
00:26:46Don't panic. The wolf is badly wounded.
00:26:50Its frostbreath is weaker than usual. Lydia will win.
00:26:53Lydia passes the combat test. Next!
00:26:56Kaden!
00:27:01You called it, Commander Garrett.
00:27:03Now it's that bastard Kaden's turn, isn't it?
00:27:06Yes. Let's see if that loser passes or gets himself killed.
00:27:17I can feel it. My power is waking up.
00:27:26Is he crazy?
00:27:28Even Damien and Lydia had to keep moving. He's walking right up to it.
00:27:31He's asking to die.
00:27:33I warned him. If he gets killed, it's his own fault.
00:27:51The frost wolf is dead? Just like that?
00:27:54I thought a grown frost wolf could take on an entire army.
00:27:58Even wounded, it couldn't have died that easily.
00:28:00Was Kaden hiding his strength? No. Impossible.
00:28:04Even a veteran temple knight couldn't kill one alone.
00:28:06How could a bastard who isn't even a knight do it?
00:28:09It's him.
00:28:10He really is the one who broke the sunstone.
00:28:14Commander, wasn't the wolf badly hurt when they caught it?
00:28:17Maybe Kaden just got lucky.
00:28:19Exactly. It was already fatally wounded.
00:28:21It looked fierce, but it was nearly dead.
00:28:23That's the only reason Kaden beat it.
00:28:25That must be it.
00:28:27A loser like him couldn't kill a healthy frost wolf.
00:28:31This isn't the Kaden I know.
00:28:34Lydia, something's off.
00:28:36If he were that strong, why did he do so badly in the first two rounds?
00:28:49Only now do I truly command these bracers.
00:28:51In training, they build my strength.
00:28:53In battle, the seal lifts.
00:28:54Each punch carries 50 tons of force.
00:28:57Bishop!
00:28:57Did I pass the combat test?
00:29:04Yes.
00:29:05You passed.
00:29:07Then please announce it.
00:29:09Kaden Hartwell killed the frost wolf.
00:29:12Combat test pass.
00:29:14Wait!
00:29:15Damien, are you challenging Kaden's result?
00:29:20Yes, I am.
00:29:22Why?
00:29:23Everyone knows Kaden is worthless.
00:29:26His noble mother slept with a commoner and gave birth to this ugly bastard.
00:29:29If he's so strong, why did he come last in the first two rounds?
00:29:34What are you asking for, Damien?
00:29:37I challenge him to a duel.
00:29:38If he wins, his score stands.
00:29:40If he loses, it proves he cheated.
00:29:43Strike all his results.
00:29:44Kaden, what do you say?
00:29:46What gives you the right to call me a cheat?
00:29:49That spear.
00:29:50Your weapons are obviously enchanted.
00:29:52Maybe even priceless divine artifacts.
00:29:54The Hartwell's are ruined.
00:29:56You couldn't possibly own them.
00:29:58What are you getting at?
00:30:00You stole them.
00:30:01Passing with stolen magic gear is cheating.
00:30:04My masters gave them to me.
00:30:06I didn't steal anything.
00:30:08Masters?
00:30:09Then tell us their names.
00:30:10Where are they from?
00:30:11I don't know their names.
00:30:13What a joke.
00:30:14You don't even know their names?
00:30:15If you can't say, they're stolen.
00:30:18Did Kaden really steal the spear and bracer?
00:30:21Look, he can't answer.
00:30:22Damien must be right.
00:30:23So Kaden's a cheat and a thief!
00:30:28Kaden, if you stole them, admit it now.
00:30:31Cheating your way into the Temple Knights would insult Orion, the god we worship.
00:30:35I told you.
00:30:36I didn't cheat.
00:30:42Still denying it?
00:30:45Huh.
00:30:48Uncle!
00:30:49Vice Commander Elliot!
00:30:50Let me set this right!
00:30:54There's no direct proof Kaden cheated.
00:30:57As for those artifacts, as judges, we owe them an answer.
00:31:01Commander Garrett is right.
00:31:05The Commander and Lord Victor have a point.
00:31:08Damien, you may duel Kaden, but the outcome won't prove he stole anything or cheated.
00:31:12Fine.
00:31:13I'll prove I'm right.
00:31:14If those weapons are stolen, he can't use them in the duel.
00:31:17Father!
00:31:17Give the order!
00:31:18Kaden is forbidden to use his spear or bracer in this duel!
00:31:26Kaden, you ugly, low-born bastard.
00:31:29I'll expose you as a cheat in front of everyone.
00:31:34Kinot in Hunt!
00:31:36Closing up!
00:31:40Let's fight!
00:31:41Let's fight.
00:31:43Insult me all you want!
00:31:45But you don't get to insult my mother!
00:31:48L smile!
00:31:50And what will you do?
00:31:52Your mother slept with a commoner and produced an ugly bastard.
00:31:55You don't deserve to live!
00:31:57I'll expose you and rid the nobles of this stain!
00:32:24Damien, weren't you going to expose me?
00:32:28Get up.
00:32:29No, it can't be. How is Caden this strong? He crossed Damien with his bare hands!
00:32:36Stop!
00:32:39Stop!
00:32:57Take care of Damien. I'll deal with that bastard.
00:33:00You have my word, Commander. I'll look after him.
00:33:03You cheated, stole divine artifacts, and now you've attacked someone! You lowborn filth! You've gone too far!
00:33:15Couldn't stay out of it any longer, Commander.
00:33:17Caden, you've cheated, stolen, and assaulted a candidate. You have no place among the Temple Knights. As their commander, I
00:33:23will judge you on behalf of the Temple.
00:33:25I didn't cheat or steal. Damien insulted my mother first, calling yourself Commander. You don't deserve that title!
00:33:30How dare you!
00:33:49That's Boltkin! The legendary holy sword!
00:33:52Why would the commander draw the holy sword against a boy?
00:34:01Is that really Bolt game?
00:34:04The All-Father Orion gave that sacred blade to the Honor Guard. It's killed countless monsters.
00:34:32Die!
00:34:35Bastard!
00:34:37Commander Garrett is the strongest Temple Knight. He's slain countless monsters and bears the holy sword's blessing. No wonder even
00:34:42a frost wolf can't touch him.
00:34:43The strongest knight with the holy sword? Even if Caden has a divine artifact, he's dead. I warned him. If
00:34:49he'd surrendered, none of this would be happening.
00:35:00Brake!
00:35:02Brake!
00:35:04Brake!
00:35:23Impossible, is that?
00:35:38The All-Father Orion has appeared! We've offended a god! Everyone close your eyes! No mortal may look upon his...
00:35:48You are guilty!
00:35:55Was that really the Great All-Father Orion?
00:35:58Orion appeared in a rage and blocked the sword for Caden. Are they connected?
00:36:01Almighty All-Father, your humble servant begs your forgiveness.
00:36:05Please, calm your anger.
00:36:06I knew Caden was no ordinary mortal. He broke the Sunstone. I was right all along.
00:36:11No, there must be a mistake. How could Caden summon the All-Father to shield...
00:36:18Caden, you low-born bastard! You angered the All-Father!
00:36:30A miracle! The All-Father has appeared!
00:36:33The All-Father hasn't appeared in the mortal world in over a century.
00:36:37There's only one reason he'd appear. Orion's son has come into the world.
00:36:41Someone is hurting Orion's son. The All-Father himself is protecting him. Send word at once. Find Orion's son and
00:36:48keep him safe, whatever it takes.
00:36:49Otherwise, the All-Father's wrath will fall on the whole mortal world.
00:36:53At once, your holiness.
00:36:55I can't admit Caden has any Tyrell. Damien's sake. I can't let that happen.
00:36:59Did we get it wrong? Was Caden the one who angered the All-Father?
00:37:02Lord Garrett commands the Temple Knights. He'd never lie to us.
00:37:06Of course!
00:37:07The All-Father appeared because Caden made him angry!
00:37:14Impossible! The All-Father appeared to protect Caden. How could Caden have angered him?
00:37:18Vice Commander Elliot, we all heard what the All-Father said before he left. You are guilty!
00:37:22He did say that. But that doesn't mean he was talking to Caden.
00:37:25Caden stole divine artifacts. The All-Father found him guilty. I was right to end our engagement.
00:37:30Caden, can you explain why the All-Father suddenly appeared in the arena?
00:37:34I can't.
00:37:35The truth is clear. You enraged of the All-Father.
00:37:40There's nothing low-born about my blood. You made up the theft. I beat Damien with my bare hands. That
00:37:44proves I didn't cheat.
00:37:45I don't know why the All-Father appeared. But you can't prove I angered him.
00:37:50Everyone saw me dumb. I didn't steal or cheat. Can you announce my result now?
00:37:54Caden killed the Frostwolf. So he has-
00:37:57Wait!
00:37:59I hereby declare an and Lydia.
00:38:01I hereby declare an and Lydia.
00:38:13I hereby declare an and Lydia.
00:38:14I hereby declare an and Lydia. Caden passed too.
00:38:19Caden may be low-born and plain-looking, but he did pass the test.
00:38:22He's right. There's no proof the All-Father's judgment was aimed at him.
00:38:26Commander, Caden passed. You can't disfall him over Damien's grudge. I won't stand by while you wrong him.
00:38:30I've always been fair. This has nothing to do with a personal grudge.
00:38:36The Temple Knights fight for the All-Father. They must have pure noble blood and a knight's bearing.
00:38:41A low-born commoner and a thief like Caden would disgrace our order. Don't you agree?
00:38:46The commander has a point. A commoner like Caden would stain the Temple Knight's honor.
00:38:49Then he has no place here.
00:38:51It's unfair to Caden, but his blood is impure.
00:38:53Blame his mother for sleeping with a commoner.
00:38:58Unless...
00:38:59Unless what?
00:39:01Unless you're willing to face...
00:39:03Divine Judgment!
00:39:07Divine Judgment!
00:39:11What?! Divine Judgment?!
00:39:18Divine Judgment.
00:39:19It's how the Temple Knights judge their own.
00:39:21Break any knightly virtue, humility, honor, sacrifice, mercy, honesty, justice, or faith, and the Holy Fire burns you to ash.
00:39:28And if they've broken none, they pass unharmed.
00:39:31I see. It's perfect for Caden.
00:39:33Commander, I object. Divine Judgment is for members of our order. Caden hasn't joined us.
00:39:39Caden may refuse. But then he'll prove he has something to hide, and the charges of theft and cheating are
00:39:44true.
00:39:45His low-born blood disqualifies him anyway.
00:39:47Lydia, how is Damien?
00:39:49He's alive but badly hurt and still unconscious.
00:39:52Commander, my family has a rare Elven healing potion, the Spring of Life. It can heal him quickly.
00:39:57Give it to Damien now!
00:39:59The Blackwoods will remember the Wentworth's kindness. After the selection, I'll arrange your engagement myself.
00:40:05I'll give it to him. But you'll need to discuss the engagement with my father.
00:40:09Of course.
00:40:17What happened?
00:40:19You useless fool! You couldn't even beat a low-born commoner!
00:40:22Uncle, I underestimated him.
00:40:25You lost! Stop making excuses!
00:40:27Thank Lydia for her precious Spring of Life, or you'd still be badly hurt.
00:40:31Thank you, Lydia.
00:40:32You're welcome. It was nothing.
00:40:36I accept! I accept Divine Judgment!
00:40:40Caden, are you sure?
00:40:43I've made up my mind!
00:40:47Caden, don't!
00:40:49Mom? Why are you here?
00:40:51Caden, your grandfather told me Divine Judgment is the Order's cruelest punishment.
00:40:57Break even one knightly rule, and the fire will burn you to ash.
00:41:01Don't do it!
00:41:05Mom, I have to. Otherwise, everything I've done was for nothing.
00:41:09A knight's title and our family honor aren't worth your life. I just want you safe.
00:41:14Don't worry, Mom. I believe in myself.
00:41:17Then, please be careful.
00:41:20So you're the bastard's mother. You should never have had a child with that man.
00:41:26Insult my mother again, and you'll regret it.
00:41:29Then let's see if you survive Divine Judgment, bastard.
00:41:32Mom, wait over there. When I pass, I'll take back what belongs to us.
00:41:38Okay.
00:41:41What's happening? Why isn't it working?
00:41:43The last fight must have drained too much power.
00:41:58This is the Halo of Judgment. The innocent emerge unharmed. The guilty turn to ash in an instant.
00:42:06Caden.
00:42:07Caden, do you dare face it? Why wouldn't I?
00:42:10Good.
00:42:14Caden!
00:42:17Caden, confess. Admit what you did, and you won't have to face this.
00:42:24Don't worry, Mom.
00:42:30Don't worry, Mom.
00:42:32Caden!
00:42:35Were Damien and Commander Garrett right? Did Caden really cheat and steal?
00:42:39He must have.
00:42:40Why else would the fire engulf him?
00:42:43I thought he was innocent. Now he's done for.
00:42:47Cheats and thieves don't deserve sympathy.
00:42:52I warned him again and again. He wouldn't listen.
00:42:56Forget that bastard, Lydia. Did Caden really cheat? No.
00:43:02If he broke the Sunstone, he had no reason to.
00:43:05Caden, you lowborn scum. You nearly killed my nephew. I'll watch you burn to ash.
00:43:19What happened?
00:43:20Divine Judgment. Why didn't it hurt Caden at all?
00:43:23Were we wrong about him?
00:43:25I knew Caden was innocent!
00:43:30I knew it.
00:43:32Did we really wrong, Caden?
00:43:35Impossible! How did he survive Divine Judgment without a scratch?
00:43:39How did he come through unharmed?
00:43:41That's impossible!
00:43:46So much for Divine Judgment. Anything else to say?
00:43:50Even if he didn't cheat or steal, he must have broken some other rule.
00:43:53No. I can't let him join the Temple Knights.
00:43:56Divine Judgment couldn't convict you, Caden.
00:43:58So I suspect you have Frost Giant blood. You're their spy in the mortal world.
00:44:03I'll search your mother's soul and memories. Let's see if she slept with a Frost Giant.
00:44:07Whoop!
00:44:10Whoop!
00:44:14Whoop!
00:44:16Garrett!
00:44:17You're holding a woman hostage?
00:44:19You don't deserve to lead the Temple Knights.
00:44:21People like you and your mother don't deserve mercy.
00:44:25Or honor!
00:44:25Commander, you have it wrong.
00:44:28Caden can't have Frost Giant blood.
00:44:30We can't turn him away.
00:44:32Frost Giants are enemies of the gods.
00:44:34Pick a side.
00:44:35Will you shield their spy and betray the Allfather?
00:44:37I stake my life on it.
00:44:39Caden and his mother are no spies.
00:44:41And how can you be sure?
00:44:43I believe Caden is the prodigy who shuttered the Sunstone outside the Windbell Tavern.
00:44:47He's the one we've been looking for.
00:44:51You think he broke the Sunstone?
00:44:53Then why did he nearly fail the exam?
00:44:55I'm telling you the truth.
00:44:57The Temple Knights need talent like his.
00:45:08The Windbell Tavern.
00:45:09I did move a stone outside it.
00:45:12It looked just like the one in the test.
00:45:14But it hadn't broken yet.
00:45:15Fine, Elliot.
00:45:16You claim Caden broke the Sunstone.
00:45:19What proof do you have?
00:45:21Commander, I have a feeling.
00:45:22Why else would the Sunstone break right after his test?
00:45:25A feeling.
00:45:26That's your proof.
00:45:27Vice Commander, you think Caden shuttered it?
00:45:29Ridiculous.
00:45:30We all know he's a lowborn failure.
00:45:32He could never have that kind of talent.
00:45:33Exactly.
00:45:34He nearly failed several times.
00:45:35How could he break the Sunstone?
00:45:37I don't think it's possible either.
00:45:39Hear that, Elliot?
00:45:39Even the people closest to Caden say it wasn't him.
00:45:43But...
00:45:44No buts!
00:45:45Stand down, or I'll strip you of your rank!
00:45:47You can't remove me without the High Priest's approval.
00:45:50My duty and honor as a knight won't let me back down.
00:45:54You're dead!
00:45:57Move again.
00:45:59And I can't promise this woman lives.
00:46:18Who the hell are you two?
00:46:21Masters!
00:46:24Take care of your mother.
00:46:26Thank you, Master.
00:46:27Caden, you don't have to call us your masters.
00:46:31Why?
00:46:32Without your training and the weapons you gave me, I'd never have passed.
00:46:39Because we're brothers.
00:46:41Father sent us to train you.
00:46:43Brothers?
00:46:44We share a father, but not a mother.
00:46:46Silas is father's adopted son.
00:46:48Silas, god of mischief.
00:46:49Ronan, god of thunder.
00:46:51Then our father is...
00:46:52Orion.
00:46:55Orion, the Allfather?
00:46:59Who are you to pretend you're gods?
00:47:01Temple knights!
00:47:02Hear me!
00:47:10You say we're pretending to be gods.
00:47:12Have you ever seen a real god?
00:47:15No, but gods wouldn't look like you.
00:47:17You say you're Caden's brothers, so you've got the same lowborn blood.
00:47:21No wonder you dare pretend to be gods.
00:47:25He says they're gods.
00:47:26Does that make Caden a god, too?
00:47:28They really are Caden's brothers.
00:47:31Just as arrogant as he is.
00:47:32Punish them!
00:47:33Show them what happens to impostors!
00:47:54You ignorant mortals!
00:47:56You dare call Orion's son Lowborn?
00:47:59You're fools, every one of you!
00:48:01Seize them!
00:48:09Now, how should I punish you?
00:48:11You love judging people with holy fire, don't you?
00:48:30Oh, I forgot you can't speak right now.
00:48:35Please, spare me.
00:48:36Don't put me through divine judgment.
00:48:38I was wrong.
00:48:39I admit it.
00:48:40I shouldn't have targeted your brother.
00:48:42The great commander of the Temple Knights is afraid of divine judgment?
00:48:45Your shaking tells me everything.
00:48:47Silas, enough games.
00:48:49Easy, Ronan.
00:48:50Aren't you curious about Garrett and that boy?
00:48:53He favors him far more than any uncle favors a nephew.
00:48:57I don't care about gossip.
00:48:59Garrett abandoned all fairness because of his nephew's grudge against Caden.
00:49:03He's no man of justice.
00:49:05Doesn't matter.
00:49:07Divine judgment will reveal the truth.
00:49:13Lord Garrett, please have mercy!
00:49:15We're helpless villagers!
00:49:16Lowborn scum.
00:49:18You dare cross my nephew?
00:49:19Kill them all!
00:49:20He violated my daughter first!
00:49:22Your filthy daughter should be grateful Damien wanted her.
00:49:24Ungrateful fool!
00:49:28Garrett, Damien is your son.
00:49:31Promise you'll take good care of him.
00:49:35I promise.
00:49:38I'll protect him with my life.
00:49:44Well, well.
00:49:45Look what we've found.
00:49:53Emily?
00:49:54Isn't that Garrett's sister-in-law?
00:49:56So Garrett slept with his brother's wife?
00:49:57And Damien is their son?
00:49:59Damien should have called him dad all along!
00:50:00Who knew the Blackwoods were hiding a scandal like this?
00:50:07No.
00:50:08That can't be true.
00:50:12Damien.
00:50:15No!
00:50:16It's a lie!
00:50:17I'm his uncle, not his father!
00:50:21The nephew you keep talking about is your own son.
00:50:25No wonder you've protected him at any cost.
00:50:28No wonder you went mad when I put Damien in his place.
00:50:36Garrett, a commander should lead by example.
00:50:39Instead, you shielded your son and hurt the innocent.
00:50:43You broke your knight's oath.
00:50:45You don't deserve your title!
00:50:48Uncle, tell me they're lying!
00:50:52I'm your nephew.
00:50:54How could I be your son?
00:50:59I did it all.
00:51:01Damien knew nothing.
00:51:03Kill me if you must, but spare him!
00:51:09Damien, stay back!
00:51:10After what you've done, that holy fire will burn you to ash the moment you touch it!
00:51:15I don't want your protection!
00:51:16I want an answer!
00:51:18Are you my father?
00:51:22Damien, the judgment showed the truth.
00:51:24You just don't want to face it.
00:51:26You are my son.
00:51:28No!
00:51:36That explains why you treated me better than the man I thought was my father.
00:51:41Whenever I got in trouble, you fixed it.
00:51:44You're my real father.
00:51:46Then what happened between you and my mother?
00:51:51I was already commander.
00:51:53Your mother looked down on the man you called father.
00:51:56After a banquet, we made a terrible mistake.
00:51:59Then you were born.
00:52:01We meant to take the secret to our graves.
00:52:04You kept calling Caden's blood filthy.
00:52:07You slept with your brother's wife and had a son with her.
00:52:10Your soul is the filthy thing here.
00:52:15Caden is Orion's son.
00:52:17He humbled himself by taking your exam.
00:52:20That was an honor for you.
00:52:21And you two fools did everything you could to stop you.
00:52:27Caden, they're your brothers.
00:52:29Please ask them to spare my father.
00:52:32I'm sorry.
00:52:33I was wrong to look down on you and insult your birth.
00:52:39Brothers, what do you think we should do?
00:52:43Garrett served the Allfather well for years.
00:52:46I'll spare his life.
00:52:49Father, are you alright?
00:52:51I'm alive.
00:52:52But every bit of divine power I had is gone.
00:52:55What a shame.
00:52:56The fun was just getting started.
00:52:58In the name of Ronan, God of Thunder,
00:53:00I strip you of your command and cast you out of the temple.
00:53:03Take your son and get out!
00:53:07He really is!
00:53:09The God of Thunder!
00:53:10Then was it all true?
00:53:12Is Caden really Orion's son?
00:53:15What have we done?
00:53:16We rejected Orion's own son during our selection.
00:53:21Impossible!
00:53:22That loser Caden can't be Orion's son!
00:53:25There must be some mistake.
00:53:27Caden can't be Orion's son.
00:53:33Caden really is Orion's son.
00:53:35I was wrong about him from the start.
00:53:37Thank you for sparing my life, Lord Ronan.
00:53:40We spared your miserable life.
00:53:41Why are you still here?
00:53:43Get out!
00:53:43Yes, right away.
00:53:46Ronan, Silas, what about the other knights?
00:53:48They're Garrett's lackeys.
00:53:50Want me to kill them too?
00:53:52They didn't know the truth.
00:53:53Garrett misled them.
00:53:54Let them go.
00:53:55Why are you still here?
00:53:57Thank you for your mercy, my lords.
00:53:59We'll never forget it.
00:54:00Caden Hartwell has passed the selection.
00:54:03Effective immediately, he is appointed a temple knight.
00:54:06Caden, you're Orion's son.
00:54:08A temple knight is little might more than the Allfather's servant.
00:54:12We'll deal with that later.
00:54:13You mentioned the engagement your grandfather arranged.
00:54:15What do you want to do about it?
00:54:19He's Orion's father.
00:54:20If he marries, it should be to a goddess.
00:54:22End the engagement.
00:54:23Brothers, I will.
00:54:24We agreed before the exam that we'd end it afterward.
00:54:27Caden, maybe we were too hasty.
00:54:29There's no reason to end the engagement.
00:54:30Caden, this must be a mistake.
00:54:32We grew up together.
00:54:33If you were a demigod, I'd have known.
00:54:35There must be a misunderstanding.
00:54:37Don't mind Lydia, Caden.
00:54:38I'll talk to her.
00:54:41There's no need.
00:54:42I've wanted to end this for a long time.
00:54:44Our elders arranged it.
00:54:46Lydia and I never loved each other.
00:54:48You looked down on the fallen Hartwells and said a commoner like me wasn't good enough for the Wentworths.
00:54:53So let's give you what you wanted.
00:54:56The Wentworths just threw away the chance of a lifetime.
00:54:59I thought courting Garrett was smart.
00:55:01Turns out they're fools.
00:55:03Look at Victor.
00:55:04He's regretting everything.
00:55:06Foolish mortals, blinded by wealth and rank.
00:55:10Caden never looked down on you, yet you scorned him.
00:55:13Mortals and gods shouldn't marry anyway.
00:55:16Ending it is best.
00:55:17Caden, follow your heart.
00:55:19Whatever you choose, Silas, father, and I stand with you.
00:55:24Lydia, our engagement is over.
00:55:26But the Wentworths aren't rejecting me.
00:55:29I, on behalf of the Hartwells, am ending it with you.
00:55:33Caden, are you doing this in front of everyone just to humiliate me?
00:55:37Think what you want.
00:55:38If I'd failed today, you'd have humiliated me a hundred times worse.
00:55:41Now that the tables have turned, you're embarrassed?
00:55:44Caden, did you never love me?
00:55:47Not even a little?
00:55:48No.
00:55:49I never loved you.
00:55:50And you never loved me.
00:55:52If your family had come to me honestly, I'd have agreed to end it.
00:55:55Instead, you assumed a fallen Hartwell would cling to the engagement.
00:55:59But our grandfathers arranged this!
00:56:02Lydia, have some dignity.
00:56:04You never cared about the engagement before.
00:56:06You're upset because now I'm a godson.
00:56:08And I'm the one leaving you.
00:56:09Exchange the engagement tokens.
00:56:12The betrothal ends now!
00:56:23As of today, our engagement is over.
00:56:25The Hartwells and Wentworths have no ties left.
00:56:28Caden, I hate you!
00:56:31Caden, our families have always been close.
00:56:33Even if you and Lydia separate, we can still visit.
00:56:37I am Elliot, Vice Commander of the Temple Knights.
00:56:40I pay my respects to the gods and Orion's son.
00:56:44Ronan and I have been watching you.
00:56:46You are a true knight.
00:56:47What brings you here?
00:56:49I came to confirm a suspicion.
00:56:51Was Caden really the one who broke the sunstone outside the Windbell Tavern?
00:56:54Yes.
00:56:55It was him.
00:56:57Who else or Orion's son could shatter it so easily?
00:57:02I knew it!
00:57:03I was right!
00:57:07On my way home, I moved a stone outside the tavern that looked like the sunstone.
00:57:12But I didn't break it.
00:57:13It was you who broke it.
00:57:15No question.
00:57:16No less.
00:57:16Caden, do you really think you're weak?
00:57:19Aren't I?
00:57:20You always said I was a long way from being a real warrior.
00:57:24Caden, Frost Wolves and Frost Giants aren't weak.
00:57:28Frost Giants can rival gods.
00:57:29You killed one easily.
00:57:31You're already as strong as a god.
00:57:33So that's why they used a Frost Wolf for the tests.
00:57:35Of course.
00:57:36You're Orion's son, and the Allfather watches over you from Asgard.
00:57:40In the mortal world, you have the authority to appoint their commander.
00:57:43Then I appoint Elliot.
00:57:45He's honest and cares about the people.
00:57:46He treats nobles and commoners alike.
00:57:49He's better suited than Garrett.
00:57:50Then it's settled.
00:57:52From this moment, you're the new commander of the Temple Knights.
00:57:59Thank you for this honor.
00:58:00Fate guides us, and glory gives us strength.
00:58:03As commander, I swear to uphold the Temple with my sword and my blood.
00:58:09Caden, Silas and I need to speak to you in private.
00:58:12Let's take your mother home, then find somewhere quiet.
00:58:14All right.
00:58:26This year's Temple Knight selection is now over.
00:58:34High Priest, what brings you here?
00:58:37Where is Orion's son?
00:58:40He just left with the other two gods.
00:58:45We're too late.
00:58:50Father, we can't stay in Mapleford.
00:58:53Where do we go now?
00:58:54Caden brought us to this.
00:58:55We have to get even.
00:58:57But Father, his father is the Allfather, and his brothers are gods.
00:59:00We can't touch him.
00:59:01So what?
00:59:02The gods have enemies!
00:59:04Father, what are you saying?
00:59:05Come with me.
00:59:06We'll join the Frost Giants.
00:59:07I hear they're at war with the gods.
00:59:09With their help, we'll get our revenge on Caden.
00:59:11All right.
00:59:16Caden, this is urgent.
00:59:17The Frost Giants of Jotunheim are attacking Asgard.
00:59:20They've recruited Mountain and Fire Giants, too.
00:59:22The fighting is fierce, and it's spread to the mortal world.
00:59:25Frost Giants and wolves are already here.
00:59:27We trained you because the Frost Giants know the gods too well.
00:59:31The Allfather wanted a powerful new god who could surprise them in battle.
00:59:34So he chose me.
00:59:36Yes.
00:59:37You have the Allfather's blood.
00:59:40And your potential is limitless.
00:59:42The Frost Giant you defeated was me in disguise.
00:59:45Even a real one might not have beaten me.
00:59:47And you did beat me.
00:59:49You're that strong.
00:59:50Do Father and you want me to fight the Frost Giants with you?
00:59:53No.
00:59:54We came to say goodbye.
00:59:55Father has called us back.
00:59:56The war has reached a turning point, and he needs us.
00:59:59But mortals still worship the gods.
01:00:01The Frost Giants may strike while we're away.
01:00:03A god has to stay and protect them.
01:00:05Caden, you have a god's strength.
01:00:07While we're gone, the mortal world is in your hands.
01:00:10I won't let you down.
01:00:12I'll protect it.
01:00:13We have to go.
01:00:14When the time is right, you'll be called to Asgard.
01:00:17We'll meet again there.
01:00:23Follow me.
01:00:24The Queen is waiting.
01:00:26We're here.
01:00:27Where's the Queen who summoned us?
01:00:29She's right here.
01:00:30You're too small to see all of her.
01:00:32Look up and bow before your Queen.
01:00:37Queen Morgana.
01:00:39Garrett and Davion are at your service.
01:00:41Do you know why I brought you all the way from the mortal world?
01:00:45No.
01:00:47Because I once commanded Orion's Temple Knights?
01:00:50Yes.
01:00:51The war between gods and giants is deadlocked.
01:00:54I want my army to attack the mortal world and throw a gods off balance.
01:00:58But mortals still worship Orion, and their defenses are strong.
01:01:01You used to command his Temple Knights.
01:01:03My nephew and I will serve you, your majesty.
01:01:06But Ronin stripped me of my divine power.
01:01:08And the mortal world has Ronin, Silas, and a demigod named Caden.
01:01:12We can't fight them as we are.
01:01:13I can fix that.
01:01:14I'll give each of you a drop of giant blood.
01:01:17An ancient rite will turn you into frost giants with incredible power.
01:01:23Thank you, your majesty.
01:01:24We won't fail you.
01:01:26Go.
01:01:28Once we become frost giants, Caden, you're dead.
01:01:31I'll make you pay for every humiliation you put me through.
01:01:38Someone help us!
01:01:40Who can kill that monster?
01:01:59More frost wolves keep appearing.
01:02:01I've even killed a few frost giants myself.
01:02:04How is the war going?
01:02:05The mortal world is falling into chaos.
01:02:15You beast!
01:02:28Mom!
01:02:29Mom!
01:02:29Mom!
01:02:29Mom!
01:02:29Mom!
01:02:29Mom!
01:02:43Mom!
01:02:48Caden, get to the northeast side of town.
01:02:52Frost Giants took your mother.
01:02:55Frost Giants.
01:03:25Mom, are you hurt?
01:03:27Caden, it's too dangerous.
01:03:29Forget me and run!
01:03:33What danger?
01:03:50Caden, Orion's son.
01:03:52I see even that attack couldn't hurt you.
01:03:58A giant.
01:03:59That voice.
01:04:00I know it.
01:04:02You don't recognize us?
01:04:04You're the reason we look like this.
01:04:07But thanks to you, we have giant strength.
01:04:10We're back to settle the score and send you straight to hell.
01:04:14I remember.
01:04:16Damien, long time no see.
01:04:18How did you become giants?
01:04:23Caden, help me!
01:04:25Please!
01:04:27You're asking him for help?
01:04:29He ruined us!
01:04:30When my father had power, you chased me and wanted to marry me.
01:04:34Now I've lost everything, you've changed your mind?
01:04:36You monster!
01:04:37You killed my father!
01:04:39The old fool tried to stop me taking you.
01:04:42He had it coming.
01:04:42You wanted to marry me, Lydia.
01:04:44I won't abandon you.
01:04:45You're my wife now, wherever I go and whatever I become.
01:04:48I don't want to marry you!
01:04:49I won't have a monster for a husband!
01:04:51Too bad.
01:04:51Your greed made Caden despise you.
01:04:53He wouldn't look at you even if you begged.
01:04:55You're stuck with a monster like me.
01:04:57Enough!
01:04:57Play with her later.
01:04:59Deal with Caden first.
01:05:01Fine.
01:05:02Wait here.
01:05:03I'll come back for you when Caden's dead.
01:05:18Caden, you coward!
01:05:19Is running away all you can do?
01:05:25Now I can fight you without holding back.
01:05:33You're dead, Caden Nunn!
01:05:42You little bastard!
01:05:44I'll send you to hell!
01:05:50Stop darting around!
01:05:52Fight us head on!
01:05:54I know how to beat you.
01:05:55This power isn't yours.
01:05:57And you barely know how to use it.
01:05:59You.
01:06:00Don't believe me?
01:06:01Watch.
01:06:03Look out!
01:06:32Give you both a chance.
01:06:34You threw it away.
01:06:40You used my mother against me.
01:06:42I won't forgive that.
01:06:44I never thought you'd grow this strong.
01:06:47Silas, weren't you going back to Asgard?
01:06:48Why are you still here?
01:06:49And why attack me?
01:06:51How did you sense me, Caden?
01:06:52Your presence.
01:06:53And the bracer you gave me kept suppressing my power even after I took it off.
01:06:56That wasn't an accident.
01:06:57You figured it out.
01:06:58A master dwarf forged that bracer, but it also suppresses its wearer.
01:07:01I meant to weaken you until I could strike.
01:07:03I never expected you to break the seal yourself.
01:07:05Why now?
01:07:06You'd have had a better shot earlier.
01:07:08I couldn't move while Ronan was with you.
01:07:10Later you grew too strong.
01:07:11An attack would have failed and put you on guard.
01:07:13So you waited until I'd beaten a powerful enemy and let my guard down.
01:07:17Exactly.
01:07:18Don't you want to know why?
01:07:19Ronan told me you have frost giant blood.
01:07:21You're not father's birth son.
01:07:22Either you resent the attention he gives me, or you're working with the frost giants.
01:07:26A sharp mind.
01:07:28You really are the old father's son.
01:07:30But first...
01:07:33Wait a moment.
01:07:37You're too strong to fight head on, Caden.
01:07:39I have your mother.
01:07:40Surrender unless you want her.
01:07:42You coward!
01:07:43And yet I won, didn't I?
01:07:45Stop!
01:07:58Is that Gungnir?
01:07:59You gave him your own divine weapon?
01:08:01It's only a weapon.
01:08:02Why shouldn't I give it to Caden?
01:08:04You...
01:08:04Silas, it's time to return to Asgard.
01:08:06The war with the frost giants is over.
01:08:08I know your blood led you to make a deal with them.
01:08:10I don't blame you.
01:08:11Always so forgiving.
01:08:12You aren't even angry.
01:08:13But I'm tired of it all.
01:08:15Are you...
01:08:16Really my father?
01:08:18What, don't I look the part?
01:08:19I never imagined the All-Father could be my real father.
01:08:24Elena, don't you recognize me?
01:08:26I do.
01:08:26I just never knew the man I married was the All-Father himself.
01:08:29I hid who I was and left you to suffer here.
01:08:31Will you come back to Asgard with me?
01:08:33Of course I will.
01:08:33But I can't leave Caden.
01:08:35He's already as strong as many gods.
01:08:36Even in Asgard, few could stand against him.
01:08:38Caden, will you stay in the mortal world or come with us to Asgard and live among the gods?
01:08:43Father, Mom, I want to stay for now.
01:08:45Once I've settled things here, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:48Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:56Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:56Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:57Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:57Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:57Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:57Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:59Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:59Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
01:08:59Asgard, I'll join you in Asgard.
