00:01Three kilograms of wheat flour and disposable plates were all that police found in a suspicious
00:07box that sparked a scare at a primary school in Alurgajah. Alurgajah OCPD Superintendent
00:13Ahmad Abu Bakar said the polystyrene box was believed to have been left near a chair behind
00:19the school's guardhouse about a month earlier. He said the school alerted police about the
00:24package at 8.20am on Tuesday. Personnel wearing personal protective equipment opened the package
00:30for inspection and found approximately three kilograms of wheat flour and polystyrene plates.
00:36Police said a name was written on top of the box, but checks with the school found that the
00:41individual was unknown to the school. The discovery comes after suspicious packages were found at
00:46several schools in neighbouring Negeri Sembilan. On Friday, Negeri Sembilan police had received nine
00:52reports involving such discoveries, with five in Nilai and four in Tampin. Preliminary investigations
00:59indicated similarities in the appearance and contents of the packages found in Negeri Sembilan
01:04and in Alurgajah.
