00:00We do have, of course, one final series coming up, and that's going to begin on Friday.
00:05It's the World Series.
00:07No word yet, I don't think, here, Craig, on who the starter is going to be for the Rays,
00:12but I think we know.
00:14Miz was announced today as the Game 1 starter for the Brewers.
00:18That comes as a shock to absolutely nobody at this point.
00:23And if it isn't craziness with tickets and who's got the golden ticket and who doesn't,
00:30it's ultimately going to come down to who can pitch, who can hit, and who can play defense better.
00:36And I don't know.
00:37The more I look at this, the more I've got questions up and down.
00:41And maybe, just maybe, seven games is in store for us here this year.
00:46It could be.
00:47It could be.
00:47It was seven games last year.
00:49It seems like these have gone a long distance.
00:51If I'm not mistaken, Dodgers-Yankees went six, I think.
00:55So we had a six and a seven the last two years.
00:57And I suppose if you said to me what's more likely, a sweep or seven, I would say seven
01:03because I do think the teams are evenly matched.
01:05I think the Rays do have a shot to win their home games.
01:08My concern for it to go seven would be, can Tampa Bay win a game in Milwaukee?
01:15That's number one.
01:16And secondly, can Tampa Bay win all their home games?
01:20I don't know if they can do either of those two things.
01:23So that would be my concern going into it, where Milwaukee goes up 1-0, they go up 2-0,
01:28the Rays come back home, they win their first, they win their second, but they got to win
01:33their third too in order to get that thing to seven games.
01:36So I think we're in for a fun one here.
01:39I know that a lot of folks may not be interested in it because it doesn't include a lot of
01:44big
01:44stars or many of the big market teams, but you're going to get really competitive games.
01:49Milwaukee's been scoring a lot more runs now, you know, in the last couple of weeks of
01:53the postseason.
01:54So maybe that's something to keep an eye on.
01:57Rays offense turned up, at least in the final game with Camonero hitting that home run.
02:01But I think I would assume game one would be a low scoring game.
02:04And Joe, as you pointed out, some rust probably with the bats, you would think, for Milwaukee.
02:09And, you know, the story today, which was interesting too, I saw another one.
02:12I don't think it affects the series at all, but it's worth mentioning that longtime pitcher
02:16Brandon Woodruff, who's been with the Brewers for almost 10 years, is trying to get himself
02:21on the World Series roster.
02:23I know that they have been practicing every day at the field and he's throwing 92.
02:28He says he's ready to go.
02:29And now the Brewers have to make an impossible decision there because he has been Mr. Brewer
02:34for so long and one of their best starting pitchers.
02:36He's not anymore, Joe.
02:37And I would assume this could be the end of the line for him too.
02:39I don't think anybody thought he'd come back even pitch this season, but he wants to be
02:43part of it.
02:43Similar to what I think is fair to say Kershaw was last year.
02:46For L.A.
02:47Yeah, I agree.
02:49I think it's a very similar situation.
02:51And quite honestly, yeah, he's been the guy that's been there, it feels like, forever.
02:57So put him on the roster at this point.
02:59I think they've had enough rest and they pretty much have a good idea as far as what's going
03:04to happen here.
03:05And they'll be, put him on there.
03:07If you can roll him out there in one of the games for an inning or two is great.
03:10He did when he first came back this year.
03:13He was good, but then all of a sudden he got, he got shelled in a couple of starts.
03:19And then next thing you know, he's back on the IL.
03:21So there are a lot of mileage on that arm for, for Woodruff, but by far has been Mr.
03:28Brewer, as far as I'm concerned in that spot there.
03:31Let's get douche.
