00:58to present my research at different Seabray activities, to organize events for young energy professionals

01:09My name is Anna Lovrenčić and I am chair of Seabray NGN Slovenia. My main goal as a chair is
01:15to attract more students
01:17and young engineers to our NGN community and to help them understand why NGN is important for their engineering future.
01:24As a student member of NGN Slovenia, I got an opportunity to participate on Seabray national conferences
01:31and Seabray Paris sessions, which gave me the possibility to network with experts and possible future employers
01:37to gain new professional contacts and knowledge in the field of power engineering.
01:43Creating a global network of like-minded young professionals is difficult.

01:59discuss real-world challenges with industry leaders or present their work internationally, that is Seabray NGN.

02:20My name is Danny Klaar and I'm the Dutch Seabray Study Committee C2 member.
02:26NGN helped me organizing common meetings for study committees C1, C2, C5 and C6.
02:34NGN is an important platform for young professionals, providing them a global network,
02:41capabilities of expanding their skills and knowledge and meeting peers and other leading experts.
02:52I got involved with the NGN network in 2020 and soon after that I was invited to present in the
02:58NGN paper competition.
03:00That experience was amazing and even with that I was able to talk to multiple NGN folks which motivated me
03:07to join the NGN committee.
03:09And right now I am collaborating the international section of the U.S. NGN team.
03:14And also I learned a lot about the various working groups and helped me act as the secretary for one
03:21of the working groups.
03:23NGN has helped me to grow tremendously both technically and professionally.
