00:00If two teams like this are going to play in the World Series, do we need a salary cap?
00:04Do we need to head where we're heading?
00:07And are you really worried about, like, it feels like baseball is in a good place.
00:11Are you afraid we're going to miss some time here?
00:14Baseball is in a great place.
00:15I think if you were to have either ownership or the baseball ops heads of those teams,
00:22whether it's Cleveland or Tampa, all three of those teams have followed whatever model they have.
00:29And they're somewhat similar to the models for a long time.
00:33You know, it starts with that.
00:34It's hard to pull a rabbit out of the head.
00:37This would be a year that defies the last 10 in terms of, look back to the Royals,
00:43you know, the payroll level that you need to get to a World Series.
00:47And I think, you know, you have to ask yourself what's worked in other leagues.
00:52I'm getting a lot of questions about ticket prices.
00:54It's been 44 years.
00:57And I think there's a sense of the community, you know, it might be another 44 years.
01:01So the question is, you know, if you have a different revenue system, you know, do you have more hope?
01:07And what are you hoping for?
01:09You're just hoping for teams to get to the playoffs, which I think we, you know,
01:12baseball's done a really good job of.
01:14Or do you hope for something more?
01:16You know, the fans have wanted this, you know, wanted change.
01:22But, you know, we'll be, we'll see where it goes.
01:25I can't, it's hard to know.
01:28I can't go on.
01:28I can't.
