00:02We begin in Michigan, where the two candidates fighting for a U.S. Senate seat faced off one last time
00:08before the midterms, and things got personal.
00:11Democrat Abdul El-Sayed and Republican Mike Rogers sparred over everything from grocery prices and health care to the war
00:18with Iran.
00:19But one of the sharpest exchanges came when Rogers pressed El-Sayed over alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, ties
00:26El-Sayed has repeatedly denied.
00:28He keeps raising this question about this association with an organization I've never been a part of.
00:34Because my mom, who's a nurse in Missouri, it doesn't make any sense.
00:38And it's actually really quite beneath you, Mike. It's really quite beneath you.
00:41To call into question my loyalty to the Constitution, I'm talking. I'm talking. I'm talking.
00:47Well, own up to it.
00:48Excuse me. Yeah, go ahead.
00:49Can I have a few more seconds?
00:50Yes, go ahead.
00:52To bring into question my commitment to the Constitution is really beneath you.
00:57I am proud of America. I'm proud to be an American.
01:00I'm proud of our Constitution that guarantees all of us the right to pray as we choose to pray.
01:04You know, I wore the uniform of the United States proudly, as my son did, my wife served, my brother
01:10served, my father served, so you could pray any way you want.
01:13And I know you want to make this about you being a victim. This is about an ideology. An ideology
01:19that's banned in five Muslim countries. An ideology that's banned in another six different countries. An ideology that is very
01:28concerning to law enforcement in the United States.
01:31The two are competing for the seat being vacated by Democratic Senator Gary Peters. And with Election Day less than
01:37two weeks away, polls show a close race. Republicans are hoping to flip the seat as they fight to keep
01:42control of the Senate.
01:43.
01:44.
01:44.
01:44.
01:44.
01:45.
01:46You
