00:00:00A clash four months in the making.
00:00:03Angle versus Rune, the high-stakes steel cage match.
00:00:07You can sense the hatred these two men have for each other.
00:00:11Two men.
00:00:13Rune is just inches away from touching the floor.
00:00:16One epic match you won't forget.
00:00:19Come on, Kurt, rethink this, Kurt.
00:00:22No!
00:00:25A genesis that began last week.
00:00:27This is the genesis of Dixie Carter's TNA.
00:00:32Reaches a climax tonight.
00:00:34You got that paper champion standing there next to you.
00:00:39This never earned anything in this business.
00:00:43The Icon Sting, the foundation of TNA today.
00:00:47You're a disgrace to the wrestling business.
00:00:50You are a cancer that needs to be cut out.
00:00:54Magnus, a reign to guide Dixie Carter's TNA into the future.
00:01:00Out with the old, in with the new, I call it the Reign of Magnus.
00:01:06Tonight, everything is on the line.
00:01:09If you win, you become the heavyweight champion of the world.
00:01:14If I win, you're done.
00:01:17Because I can't wait to tear up your legacy to shreds right in front of your stupid, painted face.
00:01:32This is awful.
00:01:33Madam, please, for the love of God, just calm yourself down.
00:01:36Do not tell me to calm down.
00:01:37Do not tell me.
00:01:38This is serious.
00:01:39Like, where is Ethan?
00:01:40Where is Magnus?
00:01:41Mr. Kai is in a massage and Magnus here.
00:01:44Hi, everyone.
00:01:45Creed.
00:01:46Magnus.
00:01:46A high-powered attorney.
00:01:47Good to see you.
00:01:48How are you?
00:01:49How's everything looking with that Asia deal?
00:01:51Europe TV, sponsorships, endorsements, everything?
00:01:53Oh, everything's fine, except we've just lost control of the entire company.
00:01:56What?
00:01:56I mean, come on.
00:01:57That is not true.
00:01:58And that is not what's happening here.
00:02:00I can assure you.
00:02:01But there is a serious situation.
00:02:04Creed just flew in.
00:02:05Listen, Magnus, there's an impromptu meeting this morning with the board of directors.
00:02:09What I know today is that someone out there is setting up a hostile takeover.
00:02:15Over the last couple of months, they've secretly, ruthlessly, and surprisingly, above average
00:02:21job of buying shares.
00:02:23Now, there are a couple of triggers to set off a forced purchase.
00:02:26I don't know all the specifics of this ruse yet, but I can tell you is I've got an unlimited
00:02:31number of methods to dissolve this nuisance.
00:02:35There are three things you can count on, Magnus.
00:02:37One, this isn't friendly.
00:02:39Two, it's not just about business.
00:02:42And three, my response will be swift, certain, and severe.
00:02:46Well, it better be number one, but you know it's not about just a good business investment,
00:02:50because these people, they choose to call this board meeting on a day where everybody knows
00:02:55that I'm here at TV.
00:02:57Exactly.
00:02:57Okay.
00:02:57Okay.
00:02:58What are you saying?
00:02:59It's not just about good business.
00:03:01What are you saying?
00:03:02Are they affecting the wrestling stuff, too?
00:03:03I'm saying, yes.
00:03:04They're more interested in wrestling operations from my standpoint than just business operations.
00:03:10And he is asking us to play fair.
00:03:14All right.
00:03:14Okay.
00:03:14No offense, guys, but I have a title match tonight.
00:03:17Yeah.
00:03:17That's what I need to focus on right now, okay?
00:03:20Like, this stuff you can handle, but I have a title match.
00:03:22I get it.
00:03:23Play ball tonight.
00:03:24Play fair.
00:03:25I'm trying to figure out our problems so I can solve it.
00:03:28What do you mean, play ball tonight?
00:03:29What's he talking about?
00:03:30Listen.
00:03:30Listen.
00:03:31They have asked specifically for somebody to be in Sting's Corner.
00:03:36No.
00:03:36What?
00:03:37Yes, I know that.
00:03:37They can't do that.
00:03:38They can't change things at last minute.
00:03:41Listen.
00:03:41They are.
00:03:42They're doing it.
00:03:43And we're going to all cooperate for the short term while I fix the problem.
00:03:49Okay.
00:03:50We're going to cooperate.
00:03:51That's it.
00:03:52Okay.
00:03:53They want us to cooperate.
00:03:55We'll make them cooperate.
00:03:56How about this?
00:03:57Right.
00:03:57They want to move the goalposts.
00:03:58We can do the same thing.
00:04:00Right.
00:04:01No disqualifications.
00:04:02No disqualifications.
00:04:02No count outs.
00:04:03Tonight.
00:04:04That gives him no excuses, no mistakes, no second chances.
00:04:07He's going to beat me.
00:04:08He's going to pin me or make me submit.
00:04:10Otherwise, he's gone.
00:04:11I don't see an issue with that.
00:04:13I mean.
00:04:13I can sell that.
00:04:14Okay.
00:04:15You can sell that?
00:04:15You can make that happen?
00:04:16Yes.
00:04:17Yes.
00:04:18Okay.
00:04:18You know, this is, this is so typical.
00:04:21This has got sting.
00:04:22Sting.
00:04:23What?
00:04:24It's classic sting.
00:04:24What do you mean sting?
00:04:25Come on, Dixie.
00:04:27I know sting, okay?
00:04:29You're blinded when it comes to him.
00:04:30I'm not blinded.
00:04:31He operates behind closed doors.
00:04:33He's a snake.
00:04:33Listen, listen, listen.
00:04:34I don't care if it's sting or it isn't sting.
00:04:37What I know is it's an unknown investor.
00:04:39And for me to dispose of this nuisance, I got to get to the bottom of it.
00:04:43So stand down.
00:04:45Hang your back.
00:04:46Hang your back.
00:04:46Don't tell me to stand down.
00:04:48Do your job.
00:04:48Don't ever go up to me again.
00:04:50I'm a world champion.
00:04:51Listen to me.
00:04:52Here's what I need from you.
00:04:53Just calm yourself down.
00:04:54I need you to win.
00:04:55That's all I care about tonight.
00:04:57You go out there and win.
00:04:59Okay?
00:05:00Oh, I'm going to do more than win.
00:05:03Spike, get with him, okay?
00:05:05Get with him.
00:05:06We're, get Ethan too.
00:05:07Come on.
00:05:08Sir.
00:05:09You better have this cover.
00:05:11Sir.
00:05:11Under control.
00:05:19Ladies and gentlemen, we welcome you to Genesis and we've got to review what just went down
00:05:26in the back.
00:05:27Because of the new investor, Sting will be allowed to select one person to be in his corner during
00:05:37the title match.
00:05:38The world heavyweight champion Magnus.
00:05:40He counters.
00:05:41He says there will be no count outs, no disqualifications.
00:05:45The only way that you can win is by pinfall or submission.
00:05:48So this is how you're going to play it.
00:05:50Is it Sting?
00:05:50This is the game you want to play with me.
00:05:53This is the game you want to play with the world champ.
00:05:58Last week we saw the icon, or so we thought, who put his career on the line for one more
00:06:05shot at the heavyweight championship of the world and then I find out that you've been
00:06:12politicking.
00:06:14You've been slithering around like a little snake with this new mystery investor to get
00:06:21a man in your corner for our world title match.
00:06:26I thought you were a man Sting.
00:06:29We had a deal.
00:06:31I thought you were a man.
00:06:46It's all or nothing for the icon Sting tonight at Genesis.
00:06:53Taz, it's either win the world heavyweight championship by beating Magnus or lose your TNA contract.
00:07:02And walk away for good.
00:07:05Well, Magnus laid it out there for him at the end of Genesis part one last week.
00:07:09And Sting accepted.
00:07:12I think Sting's ego got the better of him.
00:07:14It's a dangerous night for Sting.
00:07:16It's a huge damage for Sting.
00:07:18Might be the last time you ever see this guy.
00:07:25So now you're ready to honor a deal.
00:07:31You mean honor a deal like you did against AJ Styles when you wrestled him man to man?
00:07:36Like that?
00:07:36Hey, hey, hey.
00:07:37Hold on a second.
00:07:39This isn't about me.
00:07:40Don't try and flip this, pal.
00:07:42This is about you.
00:07:44How much did you pay him?
00:07:45Huh?
00:07:46I know you got a few pennies stashed away.
00:07:48How much did you pay that new investor?
00:07:50Tell me.
00:07:52I'm not gonna sell out.
00:07:53I'm not gonna sell out like you did.
00:07:55I don't know any investor.
00:07:56All I know is I was told that I could have anyone I wanted in my corner tonight.
00:08:01And that's what I did.
00:08:03Oh, that's all you know.
00:08:05Well, all I know is it's no disqualification.
00:08:11No count out.
00:08:12No mistakes.
00:08:14No second chances.
00:08:17You have to beat me, Sting.
00:08:20You have to pin me one, two, three, or make me submit.
00:08:25And you can't do it, can you?
00:08:29You can't do it.
00:08:31I proved that at Bound for Glory.
00:08:34Remember that?
00:08:35At Bound for Glory, I made you submit.
00:08:39I made you tap out.
00:08:46You know, you're right about that.
00:08:48But you know what I did?
00:08:49I did what I always do.
00:08:50I got back up on my feet, and I dusted myself off, and I got my head back in the
00:08:57game.
00:09:00And I watched the tape of our match.
00:09:03I know you better than you know you.
00:09:05I know what you're gonna do before you do it.
00:09:08That's what separates champions, Magnus.
00:09:12That's what separates real champions from paper champions.
00:09:21You didn't win anything, Magnus.
00:09:24You didn't earn anything.
00:09:27You traded honor for greed.
00:09:34Paper champion!
00:09:37Paper champion!
00:09:40Paper champion!
00:09:43Paper champion!
00:09:44Paper champion!
00:09:45Paper champion!
00:09:46just like these people are chanting right now isn't it obvious you have lost the respect of
00:09:58everybody oh sting's mind games infuriate magnus and the world champion slaps him in the face
00:10:11look at sting's response not feeling it out
00:10:18oh he's feeling that and that well that might have been a little ambitious for sting you know
00:10:29that ec3 is right in that ring and that pastel little nightmare rock star spot
00:10:36sting beaten down but here comes samoa joe
00:10:41joe hits the ring spike fails close line drops ec3 magnus clears out as well
00:10:52well that was smart that was smart by the world champ
00:10:57gentlemen let me introduce the man that's gonna stand in my corner tonight samoa joe oh yeah
00:11:06sting's got backup sting has somebody to watch his back that all in the form of the samoan submission
00:11:14machine well i gotta say i gotta give sting credit i think his chances are much better now with joe
00:11:22watching his back
00:11:25well huge news tonight here at genesis sting will have samoa joe to watch his back that all thanks
00:11:34to this new investor whoever that is it's gonna be the icon versus magnus it's contract versus title
00:11:41that's big i mean this and this new investor i mean we're gonna i i don't know what to say
00:11:46i mean
00:11:46it's kind of perplexing it's confusing and so who knows what's gonna happen it's crazy around here
00:11:50and it's gonna go down tonight i can't wait steel cage match bobby brood kurt angle
00:11:56enough set up next at genesis the world title shot briefcase on the line it's gonna be
00:12:02james storm versus gunner and now let's look at the history between those two there's one thing
00:12:10that i've learned that tears packed hands apart faster than anything and that's the world heavyweight
00:12:16title you know the fact is i did walk over you to get this briefcase a cowboy on the verge
00:12:23james
00:12:23storm is gonna do it whoa what the oh my god gunner attacked him from behind just as store was
00:12:29taking down the fourth case i seized an opportunity that i deserved so i say one more match how about
00:12:36we hang that case back up because i don't think you can do it again
00:12:46the bowling contest is a briefcase on a pole match and the winner must have sole possession of the briefcase
00:12:58so much at stake tonight throughout this genesis event sting's tna contract versus magnus title
00:13:06angles hall of fame induction versus rude in the cage and this match massive as well because gunner's
00:13:14world title shot hangs in the balance madam what are we going to do samoa joe is in sting's corner
00:13:22what
00:13:22are we going to do about it listen if joe wants to insert himself in sting's match then we're going
00:13:26to have to make sure that he is physically incapable of doing so brilliant madam that's a queen i know
00:13:31and
00:13:31love you absolutely ruthless what should we put it put him in a match what should we do yeah let's
00:13:35put him
00:13:35in a match and in the process let's make somebody famous somebody say his first one-on-one match on
00:13:42impact in the united states you me yes you i know who he is do you know who you are
00:13:51you won british bootcamp
00:13:53you meet every elite british wrestler that's out there yeah i'll beat two girls it does not matter
00:13:58tonight you beat and you destroy samoa joe go get your gear on get your head in the game and
00:14:07get this
00:14:07done for me i want you to wow people tonight and i want you to show them exactly why i
00:14:12handpicked you
00:14:13to stand by my side come on you can do this you can do this bud you can do this
00:14:19oh please don't get
00:14:22killed are you kidding me i think it's safe to say samoa joe's gonna kill spud up now the feast
00:14:30are fired cases in place gunner's world title shot is up for grabs sorry about your damn love
00:14:46creeks women moon shots and his opponent from leapers fork tennessee the cowboy jeep thor
00:14:58james storm
00:14:59ever since feast or fire james storm gutter former tag team partners they have been fighting for
00:15:09the briefcase the briefcase that contains a future shot at the world heavyweight championship both men
00:15:17agreed tonight at genesis that we're gonna hang that case in the corner hanging from the pole now taz
00:15:24you've got to take it down right take full possession yes of the case to win the match and earn
00:15:31the shot at the world heavyweight championship that's the key right there you gotta have possession
00:15:35we shall see i mean this is uh this thing's been cooking up between these two look at that oh
00:15:42i like
00:15:42that james storm say you know what i'm gonna try and pull a little quick one and so does gunner
00:15:47that's good stuff it's smart yeah remember back think about that feast or fired matchup with the
00:15:52cowboy james storm he had the case right in his hand right in his grip and gunner just climbed right
00:15:59up over the top of him and took it down and got the title shot and you know nothing nothing
00:16:03but storm
00:16:04has been bitching and moaning about that ever the opportunist in my opinion was gunner was gunner in
00:16:10that moment it's every man for himself that's what you gotta do interesting to watch the strategy of
00:16:18both of these men who know each other so very well it's gonna be a beat down process until you
00:16:23can
00:16:23weaken your opponent sufficiently to the point where you can get a little separation to climb the pole and
00:16:29take down the case well yeah that's the tough part you know because your opponent knows that you're
00:16:33trying to do that he knows that you want to weaken them or get rid of them to get that
00:16:37opportunity and
00:16:38that separation to get up and get possession of that briefcase and the case isn't the important
00:16:44thing it's the contents you can just see how important that case is and and how it's on the
00:16:50minds of both gunner and storm because as gunner continues the offense against storm he's always
00:16:56taking a look taking a look up at that case to see if it could be time to make the
00:16:59run to the corner
00:17:00let's be honest that case is not just a case that case is a number one contender opportunity for the
00:17:07world heavyweight title can't ask for more than that correct this is part of the weakening process
00:17:14part of the beat down strategy as gunner wow gonna go all the way to the top here with storm
00:17:20top rope
00:17:20superplex possibly i'm gonna try and fight it off shots to the midsection of the rib cage
00:17:26of gunner able to stop the superplex
00:17:31both these men are so familiar with each other they know each other's style and they're both
00:17:35similar in regards to being rugged and guys it's like they're just going there bang man they're
00:17:40they're not fancy fellas and the way to compete look at this now gunner big thick powerhouse
00:17:50well gunner felt the effect of it also hence why he can't climb those buckles
00:17:57to get up there and grab his own case but right now technically it's not his case anymore right
00:18:02if you think about it right it's up for grabs
00:18:05and before gunner can make his way up the corner storm able to hook onto his leg
00:18:13well everyone wants to be the world heavyweight champion everyone wants an opportunity at the world
00:18:18heavyweight champion this is the familiarity that we mentioned moments ago how they know each other so well
00:18:26i want to get your thoughts on this new investor i know tna president dixie carter some interesting
00:18:31comments about that investor and you can check her out now on twitter at tna dixie intriguing revelation
00:18:38about a new investor here in tna it's racking my brain it's racking my brain what's going on who is
00:18:44it what how is this happening what's going on with it and it could change the face of the company
00:18:50i mean
00:18:51right if you think about it sure and now here hey look at this now james storm you get that
00:18:56little slap
00:18:57this quad usually is the signal for you know what and think if he could hit that last call if
00:19:03he could
00:19:03hit the last call super kick as he goes for it again well scouted better so familiar instead of the
00:19:10last call it's storm driven down to the canvas with authority yeah back at the head of storm really hit
00:19:19the middle of the canvas middle of the ring i should say really hard now ken ken gonna get up
00:19:26this rope
00:19:26here get up these ropes and grab that case let's see if that that slam by gunner effective enough to
00:19:34take down the case remember you've got to gain full possession of the case
00:19:45battling up there battling up there kind of like the same way we saw gonna get possession initially of
00:19:51and get this case when he as you pointed out climbed over the top of james storm so
00:19:58oh look at this now both men on the top of the cowboy let's take another look at that i
00:20:06mean the
00:20:07cowboy wow look at that the top rope head scissors man look at that landing yeah but they both men
00:20:17crashing down to the mat and and while you would think that that storm would have the advantage here
00:20:23and he does have a couple of feet on gunner it's storm who's slow to get up at the same
00:20:27time as
00:20:28gunner again mike it shows the importance of being the number one contender both men
00:20:32leaving their bodies on the line out here to get that case and possess it to be the number one
00:20:38contender storm making his way up he's got the case he's got it in his hand he's going to try
00:20:43and
00:20:43take it off the hook look at this that's not enough hold on that's like a live ball man i'm
00:20:50looking to see
00:20:51referee earl heppner no the ruling is he didn't have full possession you've got to control it you
00:21:01gotta it's like a live book of football you're right it's like the case is up for grabs it's who
00:21:05gets possession storm he's got oh here's fingertips on it gunner's trying to beat him down there fight for
00:21:12this thing gunner headbutt him gunner takes possession of the case
00:21:18your winner gunner wow that was a crazy turn of offense right there
00:21:26think about it storm had it he had again for the second time the feast or fire case with the
00:21:34world
00:21:34title shot it slips out of the hands it slips out of the fingers of james storm well let's take
00:21:39another
00:21:40look at what happened look at that storm had it but that was a victim of electric care it went
00:21:44off
00:21:45his fingertips it was like a live ball like a football thumble and gunner able to get possession
00:21:51and remains with that number one contender spot in that that briefcase i mean what a crazy turn of
00:21:59a bench there yes gunner can raised in victory he is still the number one contender to the world heavyweight
00:22:09champion gunner has the feast or fire case in his possession
00:22:17and still to come at genesis if kurt angle wants to be inducted into the hall of fame he must
00:22:24beat
00:22:25bobby rood angle versus rood in the cage tonight
00:22:31it's been a rough four months and bobby rood has gotten the best of me
00:22:36but if i can't beat bobby rood once especially when i put the hall of fame on the line
00:22:41if i can't beat bobby rood once with something that important on the line
00:22:45then i don't deserve to be in the hall of fame and i definitely don't deserve to be wrestling in
00:22:51tna right now
00:22:53here's what i propose just so we take velvet out of the equation just to make sure
00:23:01the pigeons don't get loose we put her ringside in a cage so you can't force her to do anything
00:23:08no
00:23:08never gonna happen never gonna happen you think my girl's gonna go inside of a cage she is not going
00:23:14to go into a cage i'll do it what you know what i am so sick of this mess i
00:23:29never wanted to be
00:23:29involved in the first place but week after week you just kept putting me in the way you know what
00:23:34it's time to find out what kind of relationship we really have i want a man who will support me
00:23:41and stand up for me not blame me so next week i'm putting it all to the test because it's
00:23:49going to be
00:23:50you versus aries for that x title only this time you won't have any opportunities to force me to do
00:24:00your dirty work because i'll be in a cage at ringside
00:24:08so since chris fabin aired our personal life in the ring last week well i wanted to read this to
00:24:14all my loyal fans so this morning i received this package from my boyfriend and i wanted to wait and
00:24:20open it with you guys so let's do it dear velvet i'm sorry for how things escalated last week i
00:24:30know
00:24:30i pushed too far and now you have to be in a cage this thursday i'm sending this gift to
00:24:35show that
00:24:35any good relationship takes forgiveness and commitment to work together please bring these
00:24:40gifts with you to impact this week you will know exactly what to do love chris okay
00:24:49oh what a cute gift bag oh and a teddy bear and wait a minute what is this what is
00:24:56what the
00:25:07is
00:25:08ladies and gentlemen as we welcome you back to genesis we're going to renew a great rivalry
00:25:12x division championship match is now
00:25:20the falling contest scheduled for one fall is for the x division championship introducing first from
00:25:27minneapolis minnesota austin aries i'm a little annoyed with this guy i love aries i'm a big aries fan he's
00:25:35a
00:25:36friend of mine he's a vegan i'm gonna be a vegan one day too right i'll tell you this right
00:25:39now hold our
00:25:45guy who gets in the middle of a guy and his chick and that's what they did last week
00:25:51in the middle of a relationship you don't do that
00:25:57and his opponent accompanied by velvet sky your x division champion chris
00:26:06she's got a uh gigantic package in her hand well she's holding the bag
00:26:11yeah it has that gigantic package that must be the gift that velvet received from chris
00:26:18sabin on impact 365 you'll recall velvet volunteered to be put in the cage austin
00:26:24aries to challenge the x division champion chris sabin the title match right after this
00:26:31and ladies and gentlemen we welcome you back to genesis this is the x division championship match
00:26:36champion chris sabin challenger austin aries sabin's girlfriend velvet sky
00:26:41volunteers to be in the cage at ringside you know taz last week we saw aries having a conversation
00:26:47with velvet sky and it sure seemed as if sabin was jealous but when another guy gets in the middle
00:26:53of
00:26:53your relationship with your tomato that's not good that's all i want to point out that's it other guys
00:26:58out there can relate but how about what velvet sky said to chris sabin if you don't win maybe i'll
00:27:04find
00:27:04somebody else that wasn't nice either that's not nice for a man to hear that on worldwide tv
00:27:09but sabin wanted to air his dirty laundry with his girlfriend he wanted to let the world hear it and
00:27:14see it so i guess that's what you get now now think about the title matches i know about relationships
00:27:18mike so i could get into this all night think about the title matches moving right along that we have
00:27:22seen between these two over the course of the past several months what's been that one constant the
00:27:28constant is that velvet sky gets involved in all of the matches well because she knows where her bread
00:27:33is buttered you understand and sabin pointed that out next week oh sabin is the exhibition champion for
00:27:40them the team the relationship the loving couple his blushing tomato velvet sky so he i think when the
00:27:48time is right watch this quickly floating around and going for the pin is aries now sabin's shoulders
00:27:53pulled down for two that's how fast you can move folks oh when you just eat vegetables and like
00:27:59string beans look at that there it is the bridging submission great job great job with that bridge
00:28:05that submission listen what i was trying to say to you was when the time is right i think if
00:28:10the
00:28:10opportunity comes up velvet will do the right thing for chris sabin their love is that thing i really
00:28:15believe that she loves the guy saving the champion tossed out to the floor challenger aries have no opinion
00:28:22to scale the corner let's not worry about that opinion let's watch what's going on here it's
00:28:26just the story yeah that the girl you know the girl's in the cage because she wanted to be in
00:28:30there
00:28:30i'm just trying to explain that i think she'll still will help out for saving they love each other
00:28:35you know she's trying to help she will help i feel her man that's my point i don't know maybe
00:28:41maybe just velvet sky wants to be on her own she finally she finally stood up to chris sabin last
00:28:46week
00:28:47yeah that's true let's talk about your ability to get interactive with impact there's the baseball
00:28:54slide drop kick in the corner during tonight's broadcast as we see now cover come on and the two
00:29:00count there by the champ use that smartphone ipad tablet computer get photos videos tweets participate
00:29:06in the live q a as aries crashes out to the floor impact interactive now at impact wrestling.com
00:29:12you see now sabin he doesn't need velvet sky to help him he's in complete control this is why he's
00:29:18the x division champion sure austin aries is an extremely violent threat towards the x division
00:29:24title that sabin holds so your saber realizes that he could sense the urgency he has this off the suplex
00:29:32a pin and a two count so many interesting parallels between both chris sabin and austin aries both men
00:29:39becoming world heavyweight champions after using option c and cashing in the x division title aries three
00:29:47times x division champion chris sabin in his tna career has held the title eight times that's pretty
00:29:55impressive for sure but this uh this offense by austin aries is highly impressive he might be on the
00:30:04cusp here of a new x division champion going to spring back off the middle rope directly into the
00:30:09moonsault it leads to a pin and two wow wow that was close austin aries man this guy is just
00:30:15the cliche
00:30:17the poetry and motion cliche that's it man he just gets it done could it be it looked there for
00:30:23a second
00:30:23like aries was going to go for the brain buster a move that has gained him so many victories
00:30:30instead stopped and countered by sabin who then gets drilled by that discus forearm shot he's not done
00:30:38here comes aries baby full speed drop kick and he rocks sabin do you see the top boot the impact
00:30:44has it hit sabin in the head he's just single for the brain buster mike could be enough to weaken
00:30:48him
00:30:48the crown new chair up into the air blocked and sabin takes aries and flings him into the corner
00:30:57of the sky the girlfriend of sabin if you're just joining us volunteer to go in that cage
00:31:02oh yeah asking for the bag there's the bag there's that's it that's the there's the teddy bear what
00:31:10the weapon what happened to the weapon it's a weapon oh no what's that deal with austin aries a double
00:31:19sledge off the top did she drop the weapon how did that happen
00:31:27a weakened champs if the teddy is down
00:31:31that's right
00:31:32there he's got the teddy bear
00:31:37what is going on here got the bear in the trunks
00:31:41what what
00:31:45caught him in the corner with the drop kick brings him out there's the brain buster
00:31:49there he nailed it pin cover new champions
00:31:55your winner and new ex division champion austin harry well forget about bears
00:32:04chris sandon might be captain sheep right about now and how about the role that velvet sky played or
00:32:11didn't play in this match i cannot believe this velvet sky she's a benedict donald or whatever the
00:32:17female person that is that's not right that's not right she she swerved her boyfriend that's not
00:32:25right but she didn't say austin aries now a four-time ex division champ
00:32:30the olympic gold medalist he's in a must-win situation at genesis it's kurt angle bobby rude
00:32:37that steel cage match is next dixie carter dixie carter the world is bought and sold
00:32:43by the people with the information from those who have none like dixie carter dixie carter
00:32:51that being said knowledge is power you know what says the wolves you watch youtube videos you heard
00:32:56about us on twitter world renowned right then why oh why would you go out there and ask the hunters
00:33:03of professional wrestling to dance for their meals i am very excited for your try-off match next week
00:33:10and if you impress me then we'll even talk about a contract sweetheart we don't dance we dominate
00:33:17and this new investor was smart enough to know that and that's why they made this deal around the world
00:33:23those who know us know not to tempt fate but for those who don't
00:33:30this is the beginning of a true genesis in this company and we are just the start but next week
00:33:38live in glasgow dixie the investor will be revealed to the world and this hunt begins
00:33:48and ladies and gentlemen we are just moments away from the huge steel cage match involving kurt
00:33:55angle and bobby rude but let's talk about the huge news the wolves dropping that bombshell announcement
00:34:01the identity of the investor it's going to be revealed next week live in scotland very intriguing
00:34:07i gotta say the wolves have been there like two weeks and already they're dropping big moves back
00:34:11the back weeks this investor we're gonna see it come down at glasgow next week can't we also huge news
00:34:18because the most dangerous pay-per-view of the year lockdown it's coming to miami florida march the 9th
00:34:25get ready miami lockdown tickets they go on sale tomorrow join us in miami it's win or go home kurt
00:34:34angle
00:34:35trying to get brian hebner to put in the 10 count bobby rude allows magnus to go to the finals
00:34:41of the
00:34:41tournament i own current angle i've proven it i am better than angle i can beat you any day of
00:34:49the week
00:34:49i own you kurt angle has admitted that bobby rude may have had his number as of late the ankle
00:34:57lock
00:34:57applied roll through by rude and then rude hooks onto the rope for extra leverage and bobby rude just
00:35:02beat him bobby rude one step ahead of angle but maybe bobby rude does have kurt angle's number
00:35:07have you finally come to the realization that after months of me feeding you time after time
00:35:14that you just don't have what it takes anymore i'm challenging you to one more match how about
00:35:21when i beat you again you never ever accept a hall of fame induction here at tna it's gonna be
00:35:28kurt angle versus bobby rude in a steel cage what you want me in a cage genesis you and me
00:35:37you're on
00:35:44the falling contest scheduled for one fall is a steel cage match introducing first from toronto canada
00:35:52the it factor of professional wrestling bobby rude think about it through the years not many people
00:36:03can make the statement that they have the number of the olympic gold medalist kurt angle with the
00:36:10it factor bobby rude he's definitely one of them and he's had angles number now for several months
00:36:15yes i completely agree i mean i definitely definitely agree with you uh everything you just said
00:36:21about kurt angle his legacy and about people not getting many victories on kurt over his career
00:36:27but rude definitely definitely has a massive momentum swing going against kurt act
00:36:34kirk can't get this monkey off his back known as the impact of bobby rude man so here we have
00:36:41it
00:36:41big old steel cage whoop ass time let's get rolling man that's that's the best way to settle this thing
00:36:49big old steel cage bobby rude steps inside the steel cage and awaits the introduction of his opponent
00:37:12and his opponent from pittsburgh pennsylvania the olympic gold medalist kurt angle
00:37:22for his legacy for his induction into the hall of fame hurt angle in a must-win situation angle versus
00:37:31rude
00:37:31the high-stage steel cage match is right after this
00:37:37and ladies and gentlemen we are back at genesis huntsville alabama the location this is the steel cage
00:37:44showdown postponed a week by tna president dixie carter but now we have it for you right here on
00:37:51spike rude and angle task so much at stake be careful don't trade too many wrestling holds here but we're
00:37:58talking about the stakes mike let's talk about the stakes if kurt angle wants to ever get inducted into
00:38:04the tna hall of fame it's plain and simple he's got to defeat bobby rude tonight inside the steel cage
00:38:10cage and the way that you win this steel cage match you have one of three options pin submission or
00:38:16escape the cage yeah this is the thing with kurt angle once he gets rolling you know he's tough to
00:38:22stop see here you go you get caught now you get chucked that's the thing with current on a beautiful
00:38:26overhead belly belly suplex so many great battles we've witnessed amongst these two men it just never
00:38:33gets old have you ever seen an athlete in all your years of professional wrestling gets as driven as
00:38:40kurt angle no no i really haven't and i've trained with kurt traveled with kurt wrestled kurt uh you know
00:38:46and i gotta tell you the man is just his focus that's never faulted all these years just never he's
00:38:52always driven always in the zone but you know what all his success 13-time world champion olympic gold
00:38:59medalist all of that he knows bobby rude has his number and that's ripping space in kurt's head
00:39:07and this is the chance to get that out of the olympic gold medalist's head angle off the punches in
00:39:13the
00:39:13corner but taken out by rude who just rammed kurt right into the side of the cage and that was
00:39:20not
00:39:20pretty the back of kurt angle's head just bouncing off the steel again think about like the attack i pointed
00:39:26out from last week bobby rude pinpointed the upper neck and head area back of the head and neck area
00:39:33of kurt angle a man who's had i believe five surgeries surgeries on his neck over the years
00:39:39and smart stuff one has to pursue as we're watching here just in the moves that we've seen from rude
00:39:45in
00:39:45the past minute or so that his the focus the concentration of his offense is going to be on the
00:39:52upper body on the head and on the neck of the olympic gold medals who's fired off into the corner
00:39:56look how quickly rude comes charging in with a corner clothesline and it's more of what we've seen
00:40:02attack of rude on the head and neck of angle see what bobby rude does so well and i believe
00:40:09it's the
00:40:10humongous part of his success is his great career is he shifts gears better than everybody he knows how to
00:40:17shift gears shift down and shift up and that's what makes him such a success success leads to the cover
00:40:24i urge i'm sorry mike i urge all young wrestlers to i don't care where you wrestle here t and
00:40:30anywhere
00:40:30watch bobby rude do his business watch the way this man conducts himself between those ropes he is in
00:40:37my opinion the man and i think you can say the same thing about kurt angle can't you oh absolutely
00:40:43i'm not
00:40:43describing kurt no but i'm saying look bobby rude there's just something about the way he does his
00:40:49stuff in here his offense his timing his motions his transitions oh well that didn't work well but
00:40:57did you get my point quick reversal the double leg by angle oh and oh catapulted face first into the
00:41:02cage oh right into the grip and there it is and the grip is maintained kurt hits suplex number one
00:41:09how
00:41:09many does he have and score for rude on the back of his head a second time and kurt still
00:41:15has his fingers
00:41:16grasped right around the midsection of the waist of room well it's well documented as long as kurt has that
00:41:21grip in that class so he can do whatever he wants in the realm of german suplexing he could have
00:41:27gone
00:41:28for another four or five there because rude was not breaking that grip right in the sights of the
00:41:32olympic gold medalist he went for the angle slam but it was the perfect counter by rude who then
00:41:37sidesteps in the charging angle who goes face first into the cage kurt right back at him again
00:41:42rude hits the double r spine buster quick float over far leg but just two well see kurt losing his
00:41:47cool there for a moment conduct unbecoming of him when he's in the ring to lose his cool in a
00:41:52negative
00:41:52way kurt lost his cool after he got sidestep rammed into that cage and then ate a spine buster and
00:41:58almost got beat look at the top of kurt's head see a little trickle of blood flowing from the head
00:42:03and
00:42:03just the dangerous situation that you're in when you climb inside the steel cage that's it first step
00:42:10was up under the shoulders but this time able to avoid the road bomb sends rude into the cage and
00:42:15this time he hits the angle slam look how quickly he covers oh and got two
00:42:23huge huge news because for the first time ever we're bringing lockdown to miami florida it's going
00:42:28to be at the university of miami on march the 9th and tickets go on sale tomorrow impactwrestling.com
00:42:35long on now get your packages join us in miami as kurt angle applies the ankle lock ring positioning
00:42:42looks good at this point got it in the center sure does tough tough position right here for bobby
00:42:49rude got to try and get to a rope or something or use the free leg with a kick that
00:42:55rocked angle
00:42:56drilled into the back of the head tremendous job right there excellent physicality
00:43:01by root of rudy took the oh there it is again that's my point to the back of the head
00:43:06and neck
00:43:06that's the way that he attacked him last week and what he has done throughout and he gets it too
00:43:11mike did you see the little thing that he did he ripped off his elbow pad to avoid any sort
00:43:15of
00:43:16padding he wanted his raw arm everything his crook of his arm to hit the back of that neck
00:43:23and you're right rude was able to drop him with that shot from behind but bobby
00:43:28rude favoring his ankle as he tries to escape through the cage door but he's stopped by kurt
00:43:34yeah kurt angle realized he grabbed the hole in the boot of uh bobby rude bobby's still not having a
00:43:41hard time putting some weight on that ankle oh man he's just trying i believe bob rudis is trying to
00:43:49wear down angle enough at this point to get out of this cage
00:43:53hall of fame induction as well as the legacy of kurt angle's career at stake in the confines of the
00:44:00cage one of the options for rude is to escape to climb his way out he's headed to the corner
00:44:06and
00:44:06here he goes yeah well we just really see the end of kurt angle's hopes of being in the hall
00:44:11of fame
00:44:12bird angle is up he might try to try to stop rude can he get him angle able to to
00:44:18hook on to the leg
00:44:20of rude rude trying to fight him up but quick brings him back inside the cave this is a high
00:44:25risk
00:44:26here dangerous area both men on a non-stable part of the top rope the further away from that buckle
00:44:33you
00:44:34get the lucido group groups are they're ramming they each other's faces into the steel here just you
00:44:40can sense the hatred that these two men have for each other as angled out repeated shots
00:44:46rude face first into the steel and it drops through to the canvas that was a high and then hard
00:44:52landing
00:44:52from the top rope and angle a lot of fans here a live audience here in huntsville they want him
00:44:58to climb
00:44:59out and kurt now makes his way up the side angle now is at the top of the steel cage
00:45:07i think kurt's
00:45:08gonna do it all he's got to do is make his way down the side of the cage and get
00:45:12his hand raised in
00:45:13victory and get that hall of fame induction what is kurt waiting on
00:45:21bobby rude hasn't moved yet kurt could have won this thing already
00:45:25you're right bobby rude is is down and out in the ring wait wait wait wait oh no no mike
00:45:32no
00:45:41oh my god
00:45:44oh my god that landing was sickening i watched it right here let's take another look let's take a
00:45:54couple of looks at this horrific landing oh man off the top of the cage a missed moonsault look at
00:46:03oh my god it looked like kurt he like flipped like he fell out of a building and now cage
00:46:14door open
00:46:14and the opportunity for rude to exit the door and win this match and we're still hanging on grabbing his
00:46:21ankle which might be torn up from the ankle lock current angle he's just a couple of feet away
00:46:26there's no way i can move after that horrible landing oh my god current angle's hall of fame
00:46:31this is just as it if rude touches the floor it's over it's just inches away from touching the floor
00:46:38kurt's gonna try and make up the ground he's so close now kurt kurt's gonna drag it back inside
00:46:45the cage where is kurt getting this from how is he doing this
00:46:50i think the realization just set set in for kurt this must win situation do or die for angle
00:46:57the pressure superhuman effort by angle to drag him back in he's a freaking cyborg
00:47:04angle is a cyborg for sure but before kurt can get the ankle lock cinched in free leg used by
00:47:13room to kick him off and they're gonna try and escape again he's got a top step just a step
00:47:17or so away
00:47:18he's got it's in pursuit his feet his feet gotta touch the ground hands is halfway there you're
00:47:24right your feet have to touch the floor oh no look at this ankle lock applied and kurt using the
00:47:31ankle lock
00:47:32using his grip strength to drag me back inside the cave the ankle was exposed because bobby was crawling
00:47:38out of this thing kurt grasping that ankle how's he doing this god what a match kurt angle pulling
00:47:45out all the stops still hasn't been able to put rude away and he still can't i thought when rude
00:47:51raised
00:47:52his hand he was going to tap he was going to submit and stand oh no no no no no
00:47:57no no
00:48:01planted planted ankle here it is the pin
00:48:06no kurt able to avoid the three count kurt angle i don't know i don't know i mean listen we
00:48:14talk a lot
00:48:14about competitors out here for years with intestinal fortitude and heart and toughness
00:48:20current angle did a damn moonsault off the top of this cage and missed and he's still going
00:48:30that's the superhuman effort that we touched on earlier from angle
00:48:35crown tear in huntsville showing their support to the olympic gold medals i gotta say behind
00:48:41a go to this thing i want to see bob and rude win this match i gotta tell you i'm
00:48:44turned
00:48:45i want to see angle win it he deserves it and you saw rude trying to get some feeling back
00:48:52in his leg
00:48:52trying to get feeling back in his ankle because he's gonna have to use the leg and ankle strength
00:48:58to climb out of the cage it's certainly slowing rude down inhibiting his and look how quick
00:49:07kurt flies up to the top currently's burst of energy oh my god look at this mike look at this
00:49:14wow wow oh man halfway across the ring let's take it to hope we gotta see this again gigantic angle
00:49:22staying off the top rope look at that oh halfway across the ring good god what physicality this
00:49:30match but kurt's only half halfway there he's gonna pin him drapes the arm
00:49:34rude gets the shoulder up before three how great is this match and i thought genesis last week was
00:49:40awesome yeah genesis part two just as good incredible night incredible match with high stakes
00:49:50kurt angle and bobby rude fighting it out in the steel cage both men down at this point so important
00:49:56to see
00:49:56who recovers first and can go on the offensive or escape the cage kurt tried to get back up to
00:50:03the
00:50:03to his feet to a vertical base but went went right down and the heat dropped right down to his
00:50:07knees again
00:50:09yeah kurt angle i mean maybe he was just cooking on adrenaline after that missed moonsault
00:50:14now it's like maybe it's starting to settle in on his body
00:50:18i mean he is human i think i'm not sure after what we've seen tonight after what we've seen through
00:50:25the years from kurt angle kurt going to try and climb his way out i think this time kurt will
00:50:30try
00:50:31to escape the cage as opposed to doing another moonsault he's trying to get out of here rude's got
00:50:36to make up a lot of ground and he's got to do it on a bad wheel oh he's not
00:50:40going to catch angle
00:50:40i think angle's going to win this thing look at this well they're hanging right above us here at
00:50:46the broadcast table yeah you're not kidding it is you're not kidding right above us for real
00:50:52careful here guys this is dangerous
00:50:56and rude able to to drag angle off the top of the cage and bringing back in as they exchange
00:51:01up on the
00:51:02top for that backhand punch by angle overhand right by rude another backhand hammer punches by angle
00:51:08these guys are slugging it out oh my god holy crap about the way that kurt just reached out that
00:51:19time with the left and hit him right in the midsection doubled him over and crotched him on the top
00:51:24rope
00:51:24oh my god bobby would land that really really ugly hard on his groin and now angle he's got the
00:51:32chance kurt this is a chance kurt this is it angle now up at the top of the cage
00:51:39got to scale his way down the side of the cage feet have to touch the ground he's so close
00:51:45his body's got to be so fatigued keep your eyes on rude across the other side it's it's a race
00:51:50it is a
00:51:50race it's a race kurt hit the floor kurt hit the floor your winner
00:52:04oh my god what a match that was unbelievable great stuff right there holy crap how did how
00:52:13do this the pressure was on this guy he turned me during this match the pressure was on him and
00:52:20the
00:52:20guy he hit it out of the park his hall of fame hopes are still there and this guy here
00:52:27bobby
00:52:28rude like him or not busted his ass out here yeah right as a result of that the doors to
00:52:35the hall of
00:52:36fame are open for kurt angle taz let's go back let's review some of the incredible moments in this
00:52:44steel cage match well we knew there would be an immense physicality amongst these two men and we
00:52:49told the story we explained to everyone that kurt angle has had such a difficult time getting a victory
00:52:57in such a long time on bobby rude the physicality was insane and look we keep seeing that the missed
00:53:03moonsault at the top of the cage by ankle unbelievable what an amazing cage match congratulations to both
00:53:10fended by from kurt angle the victor
00:53:14and ladies and gentlemen don't go anywhere because still to come tonight in genesis it's the title versus

01:01:44scumbag but it's okay because i'm not surprised i've been through too many wars i've bled too much
01:01:50in that ring to be surprised by anything i have had the knife sunk into my back and i've held
01:01:55it in my
01:01:56hand and tonight tonight is about a new era tonight is about genesis and in my genesis i seek to
01:02:04send a
01:02:05message and the purest communicator is pain spud tonight you will bear my message and the world
01:02:14will know that i am small joe i am the samoan submission machine and my path of destruction starts
01:02:23with you
01:02:27sting we could lose him you lose sting you're losing the cornerstone of the company i tried to talk him
01:02:32out of it he wouldn't go for it sting wants to do this he says it's under control he has
01:02:38samoa joe by
01:02:39his side but it's not enough i i really believe sting is making a mistake if he loses you might
01:02:49never see
01:02:49sting again i want you to look right in the camera and you know this might be the last opportunity
01:02:54that
01:02:55you ever had to give sting any type of advice and try to talk him out of it or whatever
01:03:02why don't you
01:03:03look into that lens as if you're talking to sting and speak from your heart
01:03:10sting
01:03:13so many people in this company love you we know how important you are
01:03:21if we lose you
01:03:28man it's
01:03:35sting
01:03:38i love you
01:03:42all i can say
01:03:46i wish you the best i hope you win tonight
01:03:50if you don't
01:03:53goodbye
01:03:58the following contest is scheduled for one fall introducing first impact wrestling's chief of
01:04:05staff rockstar spud
01:04:09at the insistence of our tna president dixie carter rockstar spud has to come out to the ring and go
01:04:17one
01:04:17on one against samoa joe all in an effort to take samoa joe out so that he will not be
01:04:24in the corner
01:04:25of the icon sting later tonight the huge showdown against bag for those that don't understand this
01:04:30young man is you know he said he's a licensed professional wrestler he knows what he's doing
01:04:35see what i mean except for that part he's a tv show winner in british boot camp remember yeah
01:04:41well his boot just got caught on the camp of the middle rope he's got a wrestling background we'll
01:04:45see i didn't say he could walk well but he could definitely wrestle pretty good but he might be over
01:04:49a little match right here you think a little bit and his opponent from the isle of samoa
01:04:53the samoan submission machine
01:05:00now i'll tell you what man i've been he's been telling me what's going on backstage like earlier
01:05:05tonight with rockstar spudders we get all fired up all amped up all geeked up thinking that he actually
01:05:11has a chance to beat this guy samoa joe so in his mind he's kind of getting fired up
01:05:17in the back of the game i'll tell you what rockstar spud might be in trouble in this match yeah
01:05:23he
01:05:23comes face to face with a wrecking machine with the samoan submission machine and you know that joe's
01:05:29not going to back down from spud at all
01:05:33take your shot joe showing no respect for rockstar spud saying go ahead i'll turn my back
01:05:39back down yeah well that's you know that's not really too smart of rockstar spud to describe
01:05:47samoa joe around the waist like that
01:05:54now we're gonna see how far that success in british boot camp goes i respect this intensity
01:06:03and that flurry didn't know that much
01:06:08this guy's all fired up look at that jump i think i just saw his areola fly over my head
01:06:15see the chop you can see the imprint
01:06:19the imprint of joe's hand his arm across the chest of the chief of staff well look at this now
01:06:27just his face is just getting rearranged
01:06:29what's that gun oh my god he's watching the corner repeatedly i thought he kind of resembled
01:06:34i just hear that nasty that one well i want to i wish we had that slow one that'd be
01:06:39great
01:06:42oh little rockstar spud man he's gonna go high risk oh and you can mark that under zero reward
01:06:48oh no it's gonna be a bad landing anything look at that wow the spud exactly what you'd expect cheap
01:06:56shot
01:06:56rink of the eyes by spud wow i mean if he's able to connect with a couple of those drop
01:07:01kicks
01:07:02he can get joe off his feet if he can take joe's legs away he's like he's a cornered trapped
01:07:07little
01:07:07rat so he's doing it's desperate right now so he's showing some stuff here well he's sure not that much
01:07:13stuff he's showing a little stuff and i think his small intestine just fell into his large intestine and
01:07:20now his teeth are being removed from his face series of high knee lifts into the head into
01:07:24the face he's gonna set up the muscle buster out of the corner the muscle buster there it is joe
01:07:35gonna
01:07:35lock it in rear naked choke and spud taps immediately your winner samoa joe
01:07:45choke them out quick swift
01:07:50yeah we know samoa joe is gonna be in full strength to be in the corner of staying in the
01:07:56huge matchup against magnus and that's coming up in just a few minutes
01:08:01madness tonight you face sting one on one and dixie if you or any one of your boys in dixieland
01:08:15has a problem with it you have to go through me
01:08:28you've got to go through samoa joe we'll see what happens showdown is up next
01:08:38it is now time for our genesis main event and it's more than the world title on the line
01:08:44it's magnus championship versus sting's tna contract stakes are high
01:09:05all or nothing for the icon sting comes to the ring he knows that samoa joe is going to be
01:09:12in his
01:09:13first corner for this matchup all in an effort to become world heavyweight champion but what a gamble
01:09:19it is for sting oh very big gamble as you've been pointing out this could be the very last time
01:09:27now we see that man the icon sting here at tna
01:09:43the new tna investor identity to be revealed live next week for scotland he's the one that allowed
01:09:52samoa joe to be in the corner of the icon sting with the world heavyweight champion magnus he countered
01:09:59by making this match no disqualification no count out must win by peter submission
01:10:07well i gotta say uh whomever this investor is i i think it's kind of a good move but just
01:10:14my opinion
01:10:14i mean to make this thing as even as possible i'm not sure i don't want to be but i'm
01:10:18hoping magnus
01:10:19wins will to be wrong but having some old joe out here watching the back of sting i get it
01:10:23i do
01:10:27ladies and gentlemen we are going to send it to mid-ring where our broadcast colleague jb jeremy
01:10:35borash will set the stage for this huge bait event take it jb
01:10:43ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is your genesis main
01:10:50event title versus contract for the tna heavyweight championship of the world when the bell rings the
01:10:59man in charge tna official mr brian hebner and now from huntsville alabama it's time for
01:11:09your main event introducing first of all standing the corner to my right he weighed in this morning
01:11:16at 250 pounds and comes to us from venice beach california he is the challenger the icon
01:11:35and now introducing standing to my left he weighed in this morning at 245 pounds and proudly represents
01:11:43his home of the united kingdom he is the current reigning and defending tna heavyweight champion of the
01:11:54world this is magnus
01:12:07importance of this world title versus contract match to me reflected in the pre-match comments that we
01:12:14heard earlier tonight from sting sting talked about going back watching the tape of a previous match
01:12:21against magnus and sting senses that he sees something by watching that tape that he can use
01:12:26to defeat the champion well that's the thing you got to be careful if you are magnus the world champion
01:12:31right there because if sting says that he's watching tape which i'm sure he means he's watching dvds not
01:12:37many watching tape anymore but i got his point if sting sees a weakness he will exploit it he's that
01:12:44good he's that
01:12:45talented he's that savvy he's that much of a successful veteran and at the same time you also know that
01:12:53that sting has watched magnus very closely a lot of matches and these guys were members of the main event
01:13:00mafia and one of those members of the main event mafia is the man on the outside watching sting's back
01:13:04in
01:13:05uh samoa joe so you know i mean that there's a lot of history here between these men as joe
01:13:11as we pointed
01:13:12out making sure everything's all good in the hood for sting
01:13:18powerful shoulder block flying off the ropes by the champ magnus head of steam cut off by the sting back
01:13:24elbow
01:13:26state let's see the thing with sting you know he doesn't make many mistakes you know he's very
01:13:32intelligent in between the ropes he understands when and when not to go for certain moves and hit
01:13:40certain moves and magnus he might have backed himself in the corner you know and he might it might
01:13:47end up eating his own words here by giving the opportunity the standards he's given him here listen
01:13:51to the chant that we hear from the crowd here in huntsville alabama the paper champion chance
01:13:58also reflect what sting has said over the course of the past several weeks as he gets inside the head
01:14:05of the champion well i mean i i i would i would want to think that magnus a world heavyweight
01:14:11champion
01:14:12very intelligent you know young athlete i would think that he's smart enough not to let that those
01:14:18chants and that kind of you know rubbish get in his brain really that's what i think of magnus yeah
01:14:25i mean some interesting reactions from magnus when when he's been called a paper champion when he's
01:14:31been called a farce well that's not really would you like being called a false that's not very nice
01:14:35i mean you know those are hurtful words he's getting hurt with his word with people's words
01:14:39confident look on the face of the challenger sting
01:14:51so now magnus trying to jockey here maybe go for a little test of strength or something nice well
01:14:57placed knee and you gotta look at magnus how confident he is that he's gonna give sting this
01:15:02opportunity because magnus last week pointed out here that you know listen hey sting you lost the
01:15:08opportunity to become world champion ever again that was part of an agreement sure in a match he
01:15:12lost i believe a slammiversary correct contractually sting not obligated to get a shot not allowed to
01:15:18get a shot rather at the world heavyweight champion but magnus agreed if sting would take the gamble if
01:15:25sting would risk his career then he put the title on the line well right there went for the scorpion
01:15:29death drop it was nice positioning by magnus even though he just ate that elbow he got out of that
01:15:35death drop
01:15:36that almost nailed him meaning magnus magnus stucks the clothesline and oh man meet mid-ring what a
01:15:42collision that was as both worked for the clothesline and both connected hold on now keep your eyes on
01:15:48the ramp tna president dixie carter sending down her nephew ec3 towards the ring as he comes face to
01:15:55face with the man who's watching stings back samoa joe yeah but it's magnus rules i mean yeah joe's
01:16:00watch his back and probably hurling some threats at magnus
01:16:06face to face ec3 and samoa joe will sting become the world heavyweight champion or is this the last
01:16:14match of sting's tna career the answer when we return
01:16:20and ladies and gentlemen we are back genesis main event uh-oh
01:16:24sting double leg gonna try and go to the scorpion death lock steps over and applies the submission hold
01:16:32sits down on the submission referee checking to see if magnus is going to tap
01:16:37this is what's up wait a minute who is this i see bad influence i see daniels and kazarian coming
01:16:44out
01:16:44with ec3 and daniels and kazarian take joe to the far side and then ec3 slides in but remember this
01:16:50is
01:16:50no disqualification that's it i mean magnus rules the way he laid it down yeah obviously in an effort
01:16:57to exploit this exact kind of a situation here no disqualification joe in the ring and joe dropping

01:22:59contract being shredded ripped up by magnus that's what magnus said last week he would do if he was the
01:23:05victor or when he was victorious he's so confident he would rip up the contract that tna president
01:23:12dixie carter was contemplating giving sting a whole new level of disrespect exhibited by magnus
