00:00As tropical wind and rainstorm Josephine exits across the North Atlantic, our eye is drawn to a new area of
00:05low pressure off the southeast coast as a deep dip in the jet stream will become even more amplified. It
00:11may even pinch off to the point that we get a new area of low pressure over Cuba. But this
00:14low east of Florida is going to bring a strong onshore wind that will be leading to coastal flooding and
00:20also some rain for the east and southeast part of Florida this weekend into early next week. But that onshore
00:26wind will lead to flooding as we ramp up to the full moon.
00:30When we consider the alignment of the moon and the earth and the sun this time of the year, plus
00:35that full moon coming up, we're going to have very amplified tides. Throw in that strong onshore wind and we
00:41could be dealing with major flooding Sunday and again even into Monday with the high tide cycles at Charleston Harbor.
00:48Onshore winds will also lead to some rain showers here and there into eastern and southeast Florida over the next
00:53few days. There's a small chance that this could potentially organize into a true tropical system. Water's warm, but there's
00:59a lot of wind
00:59and there's a lot of wind. You're out there right now.
