00:00We're voting for the Israeli elections.
00:02We have 7.3 million eligible voters that are about to vote.
00:07Hopefully we'll have a very high percentage as historically shown in Israel.
00:10People are very eager to vote.
00:12This is a very vibrant democracy.
00:14People come from abroad even to vote in Israel because we cannot vote from outside.
00:20So I'm very excited to see.
00:22I will say that India and Israel relationship will not change, even for the slightest, no matter who is going
00:28to be chosen.

01:23in the world from the only democracy in the Middle East, we have a lot of similarities
01:28and I think it's also the beauty of the relationship and what makes us so strongly attached to
01:36each other.
01:37On the way off of the embassy, what are the important things in Israel, which is the
01:44embassy wants to make a change in Israel, what do you expect from this election?
01:51So, as an embassy, we will obviously represent every government that's going to be chosen
01:55and I will say that I do have a very strong belief in the democratic system in Israel and
02:01how vibrant it is and how much everyone gets to support what they want and what they need.
02:07We also have a lot of freedom of religion here and freedom of opinion, which is extremely important
02:12for us.
02:13And as an embassy and as a diplomat, we're obviously going to support whoever is going to be in power
02:18and I'm sure that it's not going to change the relationship between the nations.
02:22One last question.
02:23Today, we have spoken to many Israeli people, their opinion.
02:28They took their opinion.
02:30But when they mention they want peace, they want silent life, they have four years, very
02:36rough, they face many problems.
02:39Have you spoken to any people or heard anything about this?
02:44Obviously, there are different opinions.
02:46That's the beauty of democracy.
02:48So, I think after three years of war, a lot of the Israeli citizens want to see better days.
02:54We want to be in peace with our neighbors.
02:58But we obviously have to keep the safety of our civilians in our borders in place.
03:03And it's a very strong consensus in Israel that we will make sure that every single citizen
03:10is safe, no matter what our neighbors are planning.
03:13And unfortunately, they are planning sometimes to hurt us very badly.
03:18Yes.
03:19Thank you so much.
03:20Thank you.
03:22Thank you.
