00:07My brother before me has laid bare the poison of secularism that is trampling on the dignity
00:16of our sisters in Azerbaijan. Allow me to answer two questions. Where did the Azerbaijan come from
00:24and who roots it today? Brothers and sisters, Azerbaijan is no stranger to Islam.
00:32In the time of the Khalifah Umar ibn al-Khattab radiallahu anhu, the noble companion Huzaifah ibn al-Yaman
00:41carried the banner of Islam to Ardabil. In the time of the Khalifah Usman ibn Affan, Salman ibn Rabiah
00:49marched north, opened Barda'a and the cities around it and fell as a shahid defending the frontiers of
00:58Islam. For more than a thousand years, Azerbaijan was a living part of the body of this Ummah
01:05under the shade of the Khilafah. Then came Russia, tearing it away from the Ummah. And then the 80-year
01:15Soviet's masjid was shut. Scholars were killed. Headscarf was torn off in the name of liberating woman.
01:24The Arabic script was erased, cutting children off from the heritage of their forefathers.
01:32In 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed. The occupier left. But its ideology remained. Inherited by rulers, raised in
01:44very womb of that system. Today, these rulers need not close the masjid. It is enough to close the
01:53school gates. Think about it. A girl who spends 12 years at school without ever seeing a single teacher
02:01classmate or classmate in hijab. What will she grow up believing? That the hijab is foreign. That the
02:09hijab is strange. That Islam belongs in masjid, not in life. This is the reality before us. A generation of
02:18Muslims is being molded so that it no longer recognizes its own Islamic identity. What the Soviets failed to achieve
02:28in 70 years of force? This regime now seeks to achieve in the classroom. And who ruled this land?
02:37Heydar Aliyev, the former head of the Soviet KGB in Azerbaijan, rose to power in 1993. Ten years later,
02:48that power passed to his son, Ilham. And today, his wife sits beside him. As first vice president,
02:58a whole nation handed down like a family heirloom. And look at their wealth. According to the Pandora
03:06papers investigation by the OCCRP, the president's family and associates used 84 offshore companies to hold
03:16to hold London property worth nearly 700 million US dollars. It also reported that his son owned buildings in one
03:27of the
03:27London's most expensive, at the age of 11. The Azerbaijani government denies all of this.
03:36But we asked, an 11 years old boy was reported to own building in London. While today, an 11 year
03:45old
03:45girl in Baku is turned away at the school gate for covering her, for covering her head in obedience to
03:53her
03:54Lord. Is this the justice they are so proud of? And who are their friends? In February, the US vice
04:02president
04:03flew to Baku to sign a strategic partnership charter. And Aliyev boasted that his ties with Washington
04:11had never been stronger. With Israel, the entity now shedding the blood of our brothers and sisters in Gaza.
04:19They trade in drones and oil. So we asked, and we warned the whole Ummah to us. Is it a
04:29coincidence that the regime drawing even closer to Washington and Tel Aviv is the very same regime that
04:37turned girls in hijab away from school? The West no longer needs cannons to fight Islam. It is enough that
04:47Muslim lands are ruled by those who fear Washington more than Allah. To measure how far a ruler has bowed.
04:55Look at how far he will wage war on the on the symbols of his own religion. And where are
05:03the Western
05:04champions of human rights? When Muslim girls are turned away from school, they fall silent while their government
05:12sign gas deals with Baku and leave restriction on selling its arms. Oh, Ummah, do not be deceived. Our
05:23honor does not repent. Our honor does not depend on man-made convention. Our honor comes from Allah.
05:34Allah. To Ilham Aliyev, and every politician who stands with him, hear the warning of Allah and his messenger
06:18have decided a matter to have any choice in their
06:23affair. And to those who seek honor from the enemies of Islam, Allah says,
06:29Allah. All the people who take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek honor with them?
06:52Indeed, all honor belongs to Allah. And the messenger of Allah,
06:59Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam supplicated, Allahumma man waliyya min amri ummati shay'an fashakuh
07:09alaihim fashkuk alaihi. Oh Allah, whoever is placed in charge of any affair of my umma and make things
07:20hard for them, make things hard for him. Allahu Akbar. Oh Aliyev, your properties in London will not follow you
07:32into your grave. And every girl turned away at the school gate will stand as a witness against you
07:41before Allah on the day when there is no shade but his. Brothers and sisters, remember the Soviets once
07:50shut the masjid of Azerbaijan and believe that Islam had died in that land. 70 years later, it was the
07:59Soviet Union that lay buried while the azan still rings out over Baku. Fir'aun believed his throne was
08:09eternal. Namrud believed no power could bring him down. Today, there are nothing but names in it. Today,
08:19there are nothing but names in history. And so too, and so too will end every regime that wages war
08:28on the
08:29end of Allah. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says, you read on a yutafi'u nurallah bi'afwahihim wa ya
08:40'b'allahu illa
08:42an yutib'mma nurahu walau karihal kafirun. They seek to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouth.
08:51But Allah refuses except to perfect his light even though the disbelievers dislike it.
09:00The ummah, long ailing since the fall of the khilafah, is now recovering.
09:08Look at the student in Azerbaijan who boycott classes for their sisters in hijab and the girl who chose
09:17Allah over a seat in the classroom. Secularism is afraid because it sees the body of this ummah
09:26rising once again.
09:35And know this, the very companion who carried Islam to Azerbaijan, Huzaifah ibn al-Yaman, is the one who narrated
09:45this glad tidings from the messenger of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
10:07Then there will be tyrannical rule and it will remain for as long as Allah wills. Then he will lift
10:15it
10:16when he wills. Then there will be a khilafah upon the method of properhood.
10:24Brothers and sisters, we are living in that era of tyrannical rule and the permission of Allah,
10:32it will be lifted just as the messenger of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala promised.
10:36So, O ummah, O ummah of Muhammad SAW, let us strive with everything we have to restore the khilafah upon
10:50the method of properhood
10:52by the path of messenger of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala showed us. Not with weapons, not with violence,
11:00but with da'wah, with ideas, and by awakening the ummah. Just as he, Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
11:09nurtured his companions in Mecca until Allah granted him victory and authority in Madinah.
11:23Let every oppressor hear this. When the khilafah returns, you will answer for your crimes before its courts.
11:33And if death reaches you first, you will answer before the court of Allah. There is no escape.
11:41Brothers and sisters, the shababab of Hizbut Tahrir are not strangers. They live in your midst,
11:49pray in your masjid, and work beside you, carrying the call of Islam wherever they are.
11:56Walk with them and carry this call together. Victory is drawing near. We are among you,
12:03and we will lead this struggle with you until it arrives by the permission of Allah.
