00:02Monday night football at the Parc des Princes with top spot in the Ligue 1 table, up for grabs
00:09between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais, here's Aklouche for Paris Saint-Germain,
00:17space for Désiré Douay on the near side, Douay who scored the opening goal in the win against
00:22Barcelona here last Tuesday, Aklouche, Zaire Emery to a hold off, several Lyon players looking to go
00:45all the way himself, forcing the save from Dominic Greif
00:52I think he felt he was being fouled by, again, Lyon unable to hold on to the ball, it's picked
00:58up by Vitinha
01:01pretty much everybody is condensed into this area of the pitch right now except for Matvei Safonov
01:09splendid isolation in his half of the field, ball cut back with a shot from Fabian Ruiz sliced wide
01:18Fabian Ruiz who scored the last goal in the win against Barcelona last week
01:24Torres is more of an out and out number nine than Dembele is even if still
01:32perhaps a player you think of more of being a winger, Torres wearing the number nine jersey and
01:41relishing that role of out and out goal scorer with Paris Saint-Germain, a very bright start to his
01:46career here in the capital, Lyon on the offensive again, Nouama looking to curl one
01:53Nebesh, the ball into the middle but Agnès Akliouche has been penalized for the challenge in there
02:00and Gérôme Brissard the referee with the decision which PSG fans don't agree with
02:06you can put really good in possession really composed uh terrific signing for Lyon has continued his run
02:15forward and he's won the free kick uh caught by Akliouche
02:21and there's Akliouche signed by PSG quick feet approached all the way by Pacho
02:28Atikam
02:30Saint-Germain Atikam is fouled by William Pacho and that will be a Lyon free kick in a dangerous position
02:38Atikam Saint-Germain from in the Champions League a few days later, Torres with the shot
02:45Canan Torres had a hot start to his PSG career, seven goals in his first six appearances
02:53none in his last four, off target there the new siding from Barcelona
03:02Dominic Cruyff had it
03:03Oh, well Lyon getting himself into trouble, Morton losing possession inside his own penalty box
03:11Nebesh, Ferran Torres
03:14and Gryff makes the save, well Lyon are playing a risky game
03:19they're looking to pass their way out from the back
03:22Dominic Gryff giving it to Morton who made himself available but suddenly the ball is lost
03:28and PSG very nearly capital
03:39all hands to the pump for the away team as they try to defend this
03:46claim by Dominic Gryff
03:48so Barney was forward scored to
03:52a week away to Strasbourg
03:55corner comes to nothing this could be real trouble
03:58for Paris Saint-Germain the counter-attack stopped by Vitinha cynically but he had to do it
04:05the first booking of tonight's game is for the Portuguese playmaker for tripping up Ernest
04:11Nouama otherwise he would have had now Lyon can maybe do something on the counter here
04:15Nouama he's got support
04:17looking to play it inside it's left by Tolisso it's a good save
04:21from Safanov to deny Julien Duronville and Safanov celebrates that with the fist pump
04:30well Lyon nearly doing damage on the counter a few moments ago really doing damage on the counter this time
04:39take two comes out to Atikam it's a good strike
04:44Safanov makes the save and then the referee's whistle going for
04:49the foul the follow-up Michelle Kang
04:55Lyon president and Mathieu Louis-Jean the sporting director watching on
05:02that part of the pitch PSG don't have a lot of space to play with Lyon of course
05:07prioritizing getting men back behind the ball frustrating the home team
05:11looking to do damage on the counter they've come close a couple of times
05:16on the break Desiree Douai
05:19Douai trying to curl one
05:23four goals so far this season for Desiree Douai
05:28between the forward by Nia Cate
05:39Tyler Morton was all the way up there battling with Zabarni
05:47and Tolisso
05:52to Vitinha
05:58the foul of Ferran Torres
06:00by Conte and Tolisso
06:04one there to take the free kick
06:10flighted into the middle
06:11so William Pacho is penalized for the challenge on Atikam
06:16Zachary Atikam has made a big impression
06:20this first few weeks at Lyon in an attacking sense
06:27comes across to Ancliouche
06:31PSG breakdown as Lyon defends Ancliouche the shot which
06:35sails harmlessly into the arms of Dominic Greif
06:49Ancliouche ball into the middle it's a dangerous one still alive here
06:53it's a dangerous one
06:54breaks to Vitinha
06:57and a free kick given
07:00challenge on Ferran Torres
07:03to a coming inside
07:17Abner coming forward losing the ball and again the quick
07:21turnover of possession this is where PSG can do damage
07:24Ancliouche from the angle Greif makes the save
07:28headed away by Bacher
07:34Hakimi
07:37Hakimi
07:38maybe lining up the shot it's come to Fabian Ruiz
07:40clever back heel from the Spaniard Douay
07:43this game being moved to tonight and then there'll be an action again on Friday away to
07:48in Normandy
07:52after that they're off to Spain a week tomorrow to play Villarreal
07:59in the Champions League
08:00half-tied then here at the Parc des Princes
08:05and Paris Saint-Germain pressing
08:10knocking at the door they've had chances but they've not been able to find a way through as yet
08:15top spot on off
08:30Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon the last match of match day eight and we're underway in the second half
08:45in the third half
08:45Akliouche change of direction from the French international to play the one-two
08:50Torres has then given away the free kick it's going to be yellow card for
08:56And there's Akliush, second PSG player to be cautioned tonight.
09:11Catching Moussa Niakate to the penalty box. Touchdown by Hakimi and then the acrobatic effort over the bar from Joan
09:20Eves.
09:31Cross from deep by Douai. Hakimi, there he is, the position of the most advanced Paris Saint-Germain player.
09:37That is often the case for the flying right full-back setting up.
09:53Nicely done by Douai.
09:56Making up with Fabian Ruiz, Douai into the penalty box again, surrounded by Leon defenders.
10:02He's managed to win his side a corner kick.
10:03Well, Paris Saint-Germain were playing up front for Leon this evening, one of their summer signings.
10:08Of course, testing Matvei Safonov in the first half.
10:12Leon not offering a huge amount going forwards thus far tonight, but a couple of opportunities on the break.
10:21Troubling Paris Saint-Germain defence and Luis Enrique deciding to make a change in attack.
10:28We're going to see Mika Hutz, the new signing from Ajax, coming on shortly.
10:34Zouan Eves for PSG. Hakimi plays it back to Vitinha, great shot from Vitinha, but right down the throne of
10:42Dominic Greif.
10:51We will...
10:582-8. Ferran Torres from the angle, good save again by Greif.
11:03Strong right arm getting tied to that shot.
11:23That's it, Cam.
11:28Nuamaar heading for the byline.
11:31We haven't seen enough of Permis Nuamaar this evening.
11:34He's had a lot of injury problems last season.
11:39He really has to step up in this campaign with...
11:45...loss of other key players, who Leon have lost in the last couple of seasons.
11:54Swung in and met by the head and stopped on the line by Mika Hutz, the substitute.
12:01Lovely turn by Duranville.
12:04Cross held up is collected that time by Safonov.
12:08Bit of panic in the PSG defence.
12:13Who got his head to this? Was it Niakate? Was Safonov?
12:18Probably on the race for Kokos again.
12:23Prolific with Ajax last season.
12:26The Dutch Eredivisie.
12:29Desiree Douay, great feet for Douay.
12:32Trying to curl it towards the VAR corner.
12:35Putting the shot wide.
12:37Hoots with the pass forward and then a touchdown by Ruiz for Douay.
12:43Could have been a marvellous goal.
12:45Great movement.
12:47Great first time ball from the Spaniard Fabian Ruiz.
12:51Douay off target.
13:02Goins play now forward, wins the free kick for that ball.
13:10Zachary Atticamp at the arm out for an international break.
13:14Another home game in Ligue 1 here against Troyes.
13:19Struggling sides.
13:22Ligue 1 fixture list is pretty kind in the next few weeks.
13:25Of course they've got a lot of Champions League action to think about too.
13:28Hernandez coming forward.
13:30Mika Rontz.
13:32Mijulu letting fly.
13:35Fantastic strike from Seny Mijulu to break the deadlock here.
13:40In the 72nd minute Paris Saint-Germain are in front.
13:52And in the absence of some of their biggest stars.
13:56No Dembele, no Farras Kelly.
13:59It's the 20 year old Seny Mijulu who steps up to the play.
14:04Substitutes Kibane, Lucas Hernandez to Mika Hoots.
14:07He plays it back to Mijulu from the edge of the penalty box.
14:12It's a fierce slow strike.
14:15Which finds the spot in between the post and the diving Dominic Greif.
14:24PSG heading for a fifth straight Ligue 1 win and to the top of the table.
14:45A yellow card shown by the referee to Brizard.
14:550-2 at his cross.
14:57Cut out by Bacher.
14:59On his Farras Seny Mijulu.
15:01Back heels it to Fabian Ruiz.
15:03Ruiz with the shot.
15:05Saved by Greif.
15:07He could have given it to Mika Hoots.
15:09Ruiz looking to go himself.
15:12Kliver.
15:13Just on as a substitute for Lyon.
15:15Giving it to Duronville.
15:17Good feet from Julien Duronville.
15:19Tries the shot.
15:20It takes a deflection.
15:21Lands on the roof of the net.
15:22It's going to be a corner.
15:23Julien Duronville next.
15:24Borussia Dortmund player.
15:32Pacho.
15:33Drop the block in.
15:41Marte playing it short to Duronville.
15:48It's the shot from Rage.
15:50Laticam.
15:51Well over the crossbar.
15:56Kosovo.
15:58Turn up.
16:09Nice!
16:12Trying to jump by Yulu.
16:14Well that.
16:16Goal scorer.
16:19Well over the crossbar.
16:22Good.
16:24Nice!
16:24Desiree Douai has to be a candidate, Sidney Mayulu who's got the goal
16:30and that of course counts for something, look at Ferran Torres, the scorer of the winning goal in the World
16:35Cup final
16:36I think without that he might not have been nominated for the Ballon d'Or but he was
16:48John Thu, the youngster sending it forward, maybe Mika Hotz, another chance to get his first Paris Saint-Germain goal
16:54here
16:54Hooks with the effort, great strike, that's why they signed him for that kind of quality
17:00and he is off the mark with his new club, with an effort which surely wraps up the points
17:072-0 for PSG
17:11and they are heading to first place in the Liga and table tonight
17:1924 hours behind schedule perhaps
17:24they are going to take some shifting now
17:31and again then, it's the substitutes playing their part, Lucas Beralda with the interception
17:36Contant Jonctou with the ball forward, it's a great finish
17:40from Hotz
17:41and he scored plenty of goals last season for Ajax
17:47they'll be hoping
17:48that is
17:50first of many
17:51with Paris Saint-Germain
17:58Luis Enrique
17:59Luis Enrique enjoyed it
18:02Dominic Cruyff beat for the second time in this second half
18:04and what an impact for Hawks of course, he got an assist
18:08for the opening goal
18:09now he makes it 2-0
18:11interception
18:14it's Leone opportunity perhaps
18:16and it's Nuhama
18:18into the middle it's Narte
18:21Nuhana Narte
18:22block
18:24from Zabarni
18:25good defending
18:29Zabarni the Ukrainian
18:33set for a run in the side without Marquinhos
18:37imagine he'll be a major doubt for that one
18:43into five minutes of stoppage time
18:46might stretch a little bit beyond that
18:48because of the time needed
18:51to treat Morton
18:55shot from range
18:56straight into the arms of Safanov
18:58I think the one big regret for Leone tonight
19:00will be that having shown some signs of promise in the first half
19:03they had something to build on
19:06they've not been able to build on it
19:07they've not offered enough
19:09going forward in the second half
19:11that was always unlikely to beat Manveh Safanov
19:14the effort from Nuhama
19:16Hakimi
19:18his league qualification
19:19in Ligue 1 this season
19:21has to be the aim for them
19:22as well as looking to go far in the Europa League
19:25stopping Paris Saint-Germain
19:27from winning another Ligue 1 title
19:29is something else altogether
19:32on a night
19:33which ten of their players
19:35have been nominated for the Ballon d'Or
19:38the ceremony happening in London
19:40including
19:41Guzman Dembele
19:42and Ficha Kvaraskelia
19:45Paris Saint-Germain
19:46have
19:47moved to the top of the Ligue 1 table
19:50their quality shining through in the second half
19:52and it's
19:53the role of the substitutes
19:55which has proven crucial
20:00there is
20:01there is
20:01some
20:01more
20:01there is
20:03a
20:03great
20:03I
20:04thought
20:06that
