00:00Talai's asking, would the Eagles trade Barkley if he's healthy?
00:04I think they're going to trade Barkley if he's not healthy.
00:07I think it would be malpractice.
00:09To me, look, I'm not going to question the Eagles brass, okay?
00:15Because Howie Roseman's incredible.
00:17Like, Howie Roseman's so good.
00:21But I would trade everyone if I was Philadelphia.
00:26I would unload anyone and everyone I could if I'm Philadelphia.
00:30Because it kind of feels like this is the end.
00:34Like, they held it together last year with kind of duct tape.
00:39And they kind of kept that group together for one more run.
00:43Saquon Barkley ran for 2,000 yards.
00:46And the history of running backs after they run for 2,000 yards is brutal.
00:51And last year, this year, next year,
00:55I just don't think there's going to be a lot of productivity coming from Saquon Barkley for the rest of
01:02his career.
01:03He got a ring.
01:04The Eagles won a championship.
01:06He'll always go down as one of the great Eagle running backs who carried them to a title.
01:11So, I don't want to downplay what the Eagles have accomplished under with Saquon Barkley.
01:16But yes, I would be trading Saquon Barkley.
01:18I'd be shopping anyone and everyone, to be quite honest, if I'm the Eagles.
01:23I'm looking to start over again.
01:26And it might not be with Jalen Hurts.
01:29You've heard Debro here on this show talk about it for months now,
01:33that he does not think the Eagles will have Jalen Hurts as their starting quarterback next year.
01:39And Nick Sirianni may not be the head coach next year.
01:42So, I would trade everyone.
01:45I would look at anyone and everyone who you could get draft capital for
01:49and try to go into the draft armed to go get your next guy,
01:55to go get your quarterback, because there are multiple quarterbacks,
02:00first-round graded, talented quarterbacks who are going to be in this draft coming up in April.
02:05As many as five or six quarterbacks could be taken in the first round coming up next April.
02:11So, that wouldn't be horrible to go ahead and do that.
02:14The Eagles should grab Kirk Cousins.
02:18I don't hate that.
02:20I mean, look, the Raiders should be shopping Kirk Cousins.
02:24I said that yesterday.
02:25The Raiders 100% should be shopping Kirk Cousins.
02:29He could bring back a third or a fourth-round pick.
02:32He could be your starting quarterback.
02:34He could be the guy for you going forward, or at least a guy who could be a stopgap.
02:38If you're the Eagles and you're going to move off Jalen Hurts,
02:41you could trade for Kirk Cousins.
02:43And then, after trading for Kirk Cousins, he's the guy, much like he's doing right now,
02:49to be the placeholder until the kid, whoever you draft in the first round in April, is ready.
02:57Mendoza is going to be, you know, Mendoza is a project.
03:06Let's just call him that, okay?
03:07I'm not a huge fan of Mendoza.
03:09I wouldn't have taken him first overall, but I'm not an Italian evaluator.
03:12I'm just, I've watched a lot of football in my days.
03:14I'm very worried about him being able to read NFL defenses.
03:17I don't think he's nearly athletic as people think he is.
03:21We'll see.
03:22We'll see what the kid looks like, okay?
03:25I've been wrong before.
03:26I might be wrong again.
03:27And Clint Kubiak is a really good head coach, but I would shop.
03:31In the next two weeks, I would be shopping.
03:33I would be playing Kirk Cousins with the intention of shipping him somewhere.
03:37I'm showcasing him because Mendoza is going to play, like we talked about yesterday.
03:42I think the Raiders have a pretty good shot of losing the next five games,
03:46and that would be a nine-game losing streak for the Raiders.
03:50They'd go from 3-0 to 3-9, and the year would have just completely and totally fallen apart.
