00:04Today I'm going to open this time capsule
00:06and see if nostalgia is worth reliving.
00:08So there's a throwback treasure inside here that I have not seen.

00:19I'm going to get stared at.
00:20I feel like everyone in Bushwick has this.
00:22Yeah.
00:23Baggy sweatshirt.
00:25I don't know about this.
00:28Eighth grade is calling.
00:30So I'm going to have to wear these for three days
00:31and I'm going to have to figure out how to style it.
00:33The hat is probably going to be my least favorite
00:37because it legit has the American Girl dolls on it
00:40and that was never cool.
00:41So everybody come along with me on my journey back to the past
00:44and we'll see how this works.
00:47So it's day one.
00:48This is what we would have worn with this shirt in the 90s.
00:52I can't leave the house like this.
00:54I've been spoiled by skinny jeans.
00:55This is going to feel really nice today
00:57because it's kind of a cold, gray, rainy day.
00:59It's nice and colorful.
01:01The colors are really popping
01:02and I think on a Monday everyone needs some rah-rah.

01:12I've decided this sweater is really not my color
01:15but look how big and floppy it is.
01:18It's like I wore a giant blanket to work with me today
01:22which is awesome because it's so cold out.
01:25So it's the end of day one.
01:27No one noticed this amazing outfit that I put together.
01:31It's pretty stylish and normal I guess now to wear this.
01:34I don't know if I found a new favorite shirt
01:38but I have found a new favorite night shirt.

01:43The cargo pants didn't work.
01:45They were too small.
01:45So they let me get new pants and I got raver pants.
01:51What am I going to wear?
01:53Yeah!
01:54She's wearing the dress!
02:00First thing I noticed when I came into work today
02:02was Bitt's really cool pants.
02:04They make a swishy sound when she walks around.
02:07They look really comfy.
02:08I got comments on it more than I did day one.
02:11So one thing that is not so great,
02:14this gets really dirty and torn up by the end of the day.
02:17So I think one thing I would do if I wore this trend again
02:20would be to kind of hem the backs of the pants a little bit
02:24so that they're not totally dragging on the ground.

02:29So it's day three.
02:31This is the American Girl hat.
02:33So like I'm looking like, you know, super like grunge
02:37and then I have an American Girl hat.
02:39I look ridiculous.
02:41I found inspiration in old 90s TV shows.
02:47Only thing I don't know about is this bucket hat.
02:49I feel like a fisherman.
02:51I've actually gotten a lot of compliments on the bright colors.
02:54So that's really nice.
02:56This marks the end of my throwback 90s journey
02:59and I kind of wish it was longer.
03:00Definitely found a fun side of fashion for myself.
03:04I think the biggest thing I learned is that 90s clothes
03:06were super comfortable.
03:07I think life is too short to be uncomfortable
03:09and if you feel uncomfortable in skinny jeans,
03:12like screw it.
03:13Just throw them out.
03:13Buy raver pants.
