00:13Unless we think you should. Today we are trying out the negative space makeup trend.
00:18So basically you use stencils or stickers on your face and you apply makeup.
00:25When you take the stencils off, guess what? There's negative space.
00:28So guys, we've seen this trend everywhere from the runway to Instagram.
00:32We've seen stars like Lily Collins. She tried it out with a liner.
00:36So today I'm going to focus on my eyes and I'm going to try to do sort of a negative
00:40space cut crease look.
00:42Since I'm doing an eye look, I don't think I'm going to use any stencils.
00:45I think I'm just going to use some of the eyeliners that we have here.
00:49So I'm a little nervous about doing it freehand, but if I nail it, I think it'll look really cool.
00:54What I'm going to do is take one of these cute little stickers here, maybe the stars, put a couple
01:01on my lips.

01:10Right off the bat, I'm loving these gold eyeliners.
01:16I'm just going to start right on my lash line.
01:18This gold that I'm using, it's a paladio and it's really pretty.
01:25It's very subtle though.
01:26What I'm going to start with is black on black.
01:29I love that.
01:30And I want it to be like a really bold color on my lips so that the stencil actually shows.
01:37I traced just my regular sort of cat eyeliner and then I traced in the crease with that sort of
01:43subtle gold color.
01:44Okay, so I'm liking this color a lot.
01:47One eye came out a lot thicker than the other eye so far, so I'm going to try to clean
01:51that up.
01:52But the color is beautiful.
01:54Look at that.
01:55I might combine the black with the blue with the red to create a deep navy blue.
02:03This gold glitter, Revlon Photo Ready Eye Art is much less thick, which I'm very grateful for.
02:10So I'm going to try to do a much thinner line with this gold glitter on the other side.
02:15So my sticker like legit, just by law.
02:18Oh no.
02:19My lip is slippery, I guess.
02:21I probably shouldn't have put Vaseline on the floor.
02:24Pro tip.
02:25I think that the bottom is overdoing it a little bit with the glitter.
02:30I just scrubbed the crap out of my lips just now to make sure that they're not moisturized.
02:37Alright, let's go in for it.
02:39Also, I wouldn't recommend that you use a matte lipstick just because it doesn't easily glide on.
02:46I was going to say maybe it would work better with a liquid lipstick.
02:50Yeah, for sure.
02:51So already I'm liking this better with some mascara on just because I don't feel quite so costumey.
02:59So my lipstick looks a little jank right now, but that's okay because guess what?
03:04I'm about to use this Makeup Forever Aqua XL color paint and I think that the color paint is just
03:11going to be so easy to apply because I don't necessarily have to like roll it on my lips.
03:16I just have to tap.

03:19So now I think I'm just going to do a cute little stencil over on my cheekbone over here.
03:26I honestly would have loved this look when I was in grammar school because...

03:33Mom was like, no reds, no red lipstick, no red nail polish.
03:38That's too grown.
03:40I'm going to go in with some gold for my little sticker shadow.
03:45Keeping these sharp lines intact is tricky.
03:48So I am just going around my sticker with a little darker bronzier shadow.
03:55I think I'm ready for the big reveal.

05:05I have to say I think your first sticker was the best.

05:09And the reason why you used a bigger sticker.
05:11So overall, I had a really fun time doing this test lab.
05:15I think that if I had used maybe more subtle colors or definitely a smaller liner,
05:22it would have been a much more day-to-day wearable look.
05:25And as for the heart, I definitely think that's more of a party, special occasion look.
05:30So I really like this look and I would definitely recommend it.
05:33My one recommendation would be to use a liquid lipstick.
05:38Make sure your lips are very dry.
05:41I definitely am excited to try this look again.
